"Doctor M, I know that the suit looks good and all, but... quit kidding around?" Kira pleaded her mentor who was currently standing in his lab, still morphed.

"I wish I could Kira," Michael admitted as he walked past them, clapping his son on the shoulder. "When Trent froze me in that amber, somehow my dino gem and my morpher must have remolecularized."

"In other words?" Conner trailed off, unable to understand.

"He's stuck," Hayley replied, walking over to Michael in front of the main computer. "Speaking of Trent, looks like he's up to no good again."

"I am so over that poser," Conner grumbled.

"Go," Michael ordered. "I'll stay here to see what we can figure out."

Conner nodded his head.

"Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Dino Thunder! Power up! Ha!"

"That's right; you better run," Trent stated in a raucous voice as he watched the innocent civilians scamper around to safety.

The four other rangers appeared on their raptor cycles, firing at the megazord.

"Get out of there!" Ethan demanded.

"Stop!" Kira yelled.

"That's enough!" Conner shouted.

"I'm just getting started," Trent claimed huskily.

"Right, it's time to get the zords out," Kim told the others.

The brachiozord arrived, releasing the other zords in an instant. Kira observed as her friends formed the Thundersaurus Megazord, adding on the parasaurblade.

"Make your move," the white ranger simply said. Kira wrinkled her forehead in confusion. Since when did he not make the first move?

"Now what is he up to?" Ethan questioned.

"I don't know," Kim replied. "But focus on the task at hand. We have to stop him!"

"I hate to do this to you," Trent proclaimed tremulously, drawing up a chain with his dragosword. "It's nothing personal." Kira rolled her eyes, wondering why on earth Trent sounded so happy.

The chain shot out of the Dino Stegazord and latched onto the Thundersaurus Megazord, encasing it as it struggled to break free.

"We need dino zord help!" Conner exclaimed, pressing a button on his control panel. Kira's eyes widened as she realised what Trent was up to. She watched in helplessness as the dimetrozord and cephalazord rushed past her towards the others.

"Perfect," the white ranger chirped, before drawing two circles of light with his weapon. "Containment fields, online."

Two balls of light darted towards the two auxiliary zords and enclosed them in barrels. The rangers gasped in horror as they witnessed their zords try to escape, their heads sticking out of the top of the barrels.

"Our dino zords! Let them go!" Conner cried out.

"He won't do that," Kim muttered bitterly.

"Sorry, not going to happen," the white ranger replied, confirming Kim's words.

"Trent, you've gotta stop this!" Kira pleaded from the ground. "You're out of control!"

"Looks more like I'm in control," Trent retorted gruffly.

"What's he going to do with them?" Ethan asked worriedly.

Trent gave no response, instead opting to blast their megazord with a laser. In the cockpit, the three rangers stumbled around the controls, trying to regain balance. By the time they looked up their adversary was gone, along with their zords.

Kim and the others arrived at the dino lab, ripping their helmets off in frustration. The yellow ranger smiled momentarily when she realised Tommy was there. He came to stand next to her and slipped a comforting arm around her shoulders. Usually, Kim would shrug him off but she had no energy. Well, that's what she told herself. The truth was, that lately, Kim found herself thinking of Tommy as her boyfriend again. Her resolve was slipping and if Tommy kept it up, she didn't know what would happen.

"What's the situation, Hayley?" Michael queried as all the rangers stood behind her, desperate to find out where their zords were.

"It's no good," the red-head genius responded. "He's got them in a force field."

Ethan shot Kira a scathing look, making her angry. "It's not Trent's fault! The gem's making him this way!"

"I don't care whose fault it is," Conner spat, making the others look at him. "We find a way to deal with him or things are going to get ugly."

"Slow down," Tommy finally spoke up. "I was in his shoes once. And I wouldn't be here today if my friends had given up on me." All the adults in the room nodded.

"Okay, so we don't give up yet," Ethan conceded, looking at Tommy. "What do we do?" Tommy looked over at Michael who nodded approvingly.

"I suggest you go back to school," Tommy answered. "Make sure to keep a low profile. The four of us are here, we'll let you know if anything changes."

Conner walked the long way to school, playing with his tiny football. He was in no real hurry to get to school and he needed time to think about recent events. Out of nowhere, or rather a concrete wall, Trent appeared.

"You know, you shouldn't walk to school alone," he taunted, stepping forward. "You never know who you might run into."

"How did you do that?" Conner enquired, more intrigued rather than threatened.

"You didn't think you were the only one with dino gem power, did you?"

"I don't want to fight," Conner calmly stated, perhaps for the first time in his life.

"Well that makes one of us," Trent replied flatly. "White Ranger, Dino Power. Bring it on."

"If that's how it has to be," Conner murmured, as tossing his football aside and morphing. "Show me what you got!"

"No problem!" Trent retaliated haughtily.

The two lunged forward and fought hand-to-hand.

"It doesn't have to be this way. Let us help you?" Conner suggested, arms locked with Trent.

"I don't need anyone's help, least of all yours," Trent scoffed.

"Fine, if that's how you wanna play!" Conner sneered, as they released each other.

Both boys pulled their weapons out, slashing each other at the same time and falling to the ground. They then leaped in the air and repeated the exact same thing. Turning to face each other, they fired in unison. Conner fell backwards, hitting the cold hard ground and a second later, Trent followed, falling face forward.

Zeltrax and Mesogog's newest creation plopped down from the sky, a few feet away from the motionless rangers.

"Perfect timing!" the monster chimed, as Conner slowly lifted his head. "Should I infect them both?"

"No, do as we've been instructed," Zeltrax ordered, holding the monster back with his sword. "Just the white one."

Conner, who was now sitting up, whipped his head in Trent's direction. Powerless to help, he simply watched as the monster fired yellow beams at the white ranger. Trent, now demorphed, groaned in pain.

"What have you done?" Conner demanded. Zeltrax looked his way and growled.

"Let's go." The two disappeared.

"Power down." Conner demorphed and managed to stand up. He wobbled over to Trent who sat up.

"Trent, are you okay?"

"Better than okay," Trent replied in a surprisingly gentle voice. "I'm me."

"Thanks for giving me a lift, Tommy," Kim said tiredly, stretching her arms as Tommy drove her to Reefside High. "I usually come here with Mike, but you know how it is now..."

"Yeah, let's just hope that Jason doesn't realise his car's missing," Tommy remarked cheekily. Kim giggled. Jason was at the gym right now, probably unaware that Tommy had 'borrowed' his keys and that his car was no longer at the gym car park. "Although you could've just borrowed Michael's jeep. I'm sure he wouldn't have minded."

"Yeah well, I'm too... lazy to drive," Kim answered lamely, hoping Tommy wouldn't catch on to the fact that she was lying. Truthfully, she just wanted an excuse to be with Tommy without making it obvious.

"Lazy? You do know that you're going in today because you were asked to demonstrate gymnastics to a bunch of teenagers?" Tommy teased playfully. Kim went red and looked out of the window, hiding her somewhat embarrassed smile. He totally knew.

"Yeah, whatever," she chanted, trying to get rid of her giddiness.

As they entered the Reefside High car park, Kim spotted a familiar face and ducked. Tommy shot her an amused look.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his eyebrow quirked.

"Randall," she hissed, hiding her face. "She hates me!"

"I thought she hated everyone," Tommy mused, parking the car.

"Miss Hart!" came the authoritative voice of Principal Randall. Kim moaned and turned to face her. How on Earth did she know that it was her? She hadn't even seen Jason's car before!

Kim reluctantly hopped out of the car, waiting awkwardly as Randall approached her. "Principal Randall."

"Your friend, Doctor McKnight sent me an email. Claims he's sick... You know anything about this?" the principal interrogated, narrowing her eyes at the yellow ranger.

"Oh yes, I went to see him yesterday. He's come down with something contagious..." Kim trailed off, desperately racking her brain for an answer.

"Michael's got the flu," a voice interjected. Both women turned to see Tommy staring back at them, from the driver's seat. While they were talking, he had turned the car around and was now face to face with the ladies.

Much to her annoyance and slight horror, Kim recognised the perverted look in Randall's eyes straight away as said principal undressed Tommy with her eyes. Great. First her good friend Michael and now her ex-boyfriend Tommy. When would Randall stop going after her boys?

"And you are...?" Randall implored, quite smitten with Thomas Oliver.

"Mine," Kim finished firmly, meeting Randall's icy glare with her very own. Randall scoffed and stalked off in Kira and Ethan's direction, probably to see if she could catch them out.

Before Tommy could confront Kim about what she said, the two teen rangers walked over to her.

"A model of warmth and sympathy," Kira jibed sarcastically, referring to Randall.

Ethan tapped Kira on the shoulder before pointing out Conner who was gesturing them to go to him at the open-air benches. Ethan and Kira ran over while Kim turned around to Tommy.

"See you later," she said, avoiding his gaze.

"Bye," he replied, smirking as he drove off. Kim followed the others.

"What's up?" Kira questioned as they climbed onto the seats.

"It's Trent," he responded.

"Now I know you're crazy," Ethan commented. Conner frowned at his friend and shook his head.

"I know dude, but check it out. He's reformed!" He led them to the lower seats, where Trent was sitting, staring downwards.

"Really?" Kira asked cheerfully, lightening up for the first time in days. She ran over to him. "Trent, are you in there?"

"Hey," he responded, standing up and smiling at her. "It's really me."

"One of Mesogog's monster attacks backfired," Conner stated.

"I think it released the dino gem's hold," Trent intervened. Kim and Ethan exchanged doubtful looks.

"That doesn't make a whole lot of sense," the blue ranger voice both his and Kim's thoughts.

"Guys look. I'm really sorry for everything I've done to you. You gotta believe it wasn't me. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you…"

"How about returning our zords, for starters?" Ethan suggested dryly.

"Right," Trent agreed, chuckling. "Meet me in the warehouse district this afternoon. I'll give you back your zords and I might have a little peace offering as well."

After returning Jason's car to its original spot in the car park, Tommy sneaked into the Reefside gym changing rooms to return his keys. He sighed as he spotted Jason working out and laughing around with some gym buddies. He left and decided to take a walk in the woods to clear his mind.

What he'd give for everything to go back to normal with Jason, Kat... and even Kim. Jason should be his best friend. Kat should be a good friend. And Kim should be his girlfriend and maybe, one day, even his wife.

Tommy knew he'd made mistakes. He'd been too immersed in his racing career, neglecting both Jason and Kat. One could even say that he had been plain selfish. After all, what if he was never really in love with Kat? It wouldn't be a surprise; Kim had always been in his heart, even when he was dating Kat. Was it really any wonder that Kat and Jason fell in love with each other? He wasn't even there most of the time!

He had no idea why he'd said the things he said when Kat dumped him. All those names he'd called her and Jason, in the end, his behaviour wasn't justified. And never could be. Now that he thought back on it, he knew the answer. It was his ego. His pride. Being dumped for another guy - although not really - once had been enough. Kat dumping him for Jason gave him a complex. It had happened twice. And that's why, no matter how many times Jason, Kat and Tommy tried to forgive each other, they couldn't. Because Tommy's ego was still bruised.

Although as of late, he was healing again. Ten years of pain was nothing when he thought of how Kim was softening up to him again. Recently, she had become more playful around him, more comfortable. At long last, he could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Wait... he wasn't in a tunnel. But he could literally see a green light in the distance!

Tommy quickened his pace, almost sprinting over in its direction. Soon enough, he reached a dead end at a grassy area where the light became even more intense. It was coming from a sort of hole in a massive rock. Tentatively slipping his hand in, Tommy grabbed hold of a cool and hard object. Pulling it out, he was shocked to discover that the object was a gem. A green dino gem. He watched in awe as the gem began to glow brightly in his hands, bonding with his DNA.

As an image of a green pterosaur flashed across his mind, Tommy felt a twinge of excitement electrify his body.

The rangers arrived on their raptor cycles to find that Trent was waiting for them on a bunch of crates, next to large object covered in a silver sheet.

"Hey! Over here!" Trent called out, as the others, including the black ranger, got off the cycles.

"I hope you don't mind; I tagged along just in case," Michael said, stepping in front of the other, protectively.

"Doctor McKnight, you're okay," Trent observed, shaking hands with his teacher.

"More or less," Mike replied.

"I hate to get right to the point," Ethan intervened. "But I don't see any zords around here."

"I thought we'd start with the peace offering that I promised first," Trent told him, his eyes sparkling mirthlessly. The others watched as he walked over to the object and pulled the sheet off it, revealing a black dino ATV.

"Whoa," Mike breathed.

"Sweet," Ethan commented.

"I thought you guys could use the help against Mesogog. Who wants to try it out?"

"Make way!" Ethan exclaimed, his voice thick with excitement. He moved forward, only to be stopped by his mentor.

"Sorry Ethan," Mike apologised, patting him on the shoulder. "I think it's better if I try it first."

"Oh man," Ethan whined as Mike walked over to the ATV.

"Nice," he remarked, before climbing on while Trent watched.

"Good work. 12-stroke engine?" a voice hollered. All 6 rangers looked over to see Thomas Oliver, a humourless smile on his face.

"Yeah, sure is," Trent answered after a long pause, confused as to who Tommy was.

"They don't make 12-stroked engines Trent," Tommy countered seriously. Michael looked at Tommy, realisation dawning on him.

"And Mesogog doesn't make monsters that turn people nice, either," Trent retorted wryly.

"No!" the other rangers yelled.

Trent kicked Michael and then jumped over the ATV, kicking its engine.

"It's a trap!" Michael warned, holding on tight as the ATV shot forward on its own accord. Kira, Conner, Kim, Tommy and Ethan all leapt out of the way as the ATV plunged through some boxes, leaving the warehouse.

"Dad!" Conner shouted glaring at Trent who was smirking. "You'll pay for this." Trent stuck two fingers in his mouth and whistles, summoning white Dino ATV. "No way!"

"Later, suckers," Trent quipped as he jumped and morphed mid-air, landing in his ATV and following Michael.

"Stop!" Conner demanded, running after them along with the others, only to be stopped by Zeltrax's friend from before.

"Not so fast!" the monster called. "You're not going anywhere!"

"Try and stop us," Conner jeered. "Come on guys!"

Conner and his team mounted their bikes before taking off to fight the monster and the tyrannodrones.

"Right with ya."

"Yeah!"

"In a bit!" Kim turned around to look at Tommy. "Will you be okay?"

He gave her a charming smile. "You know I will."

"How am I meant to control this thing?!" Michael shrieked as the ATV spiralled out of control, making him collide with a pile of boxes. He panicked as he neared a white car. He finally pulled out his brachiostaff and whacked his ATV with it, swerving it away from the car. As he came to a halt, Michael released a shaky breath. After hearing the sound of a roaring engine, he looked up to see Trent leaping over the white car.

"Oh yeah!" Trent landed near Michael, skidding to face him.

"Time to get to work!" Mike cried out, drawing his brachiostaff again before spinning around to avoid Trent's lasers.

"Fire!" Michael started shooting back at his foe, using the lasers on his own ATV. "Better run!" They passed each other, driving towards two separate ends of the car park before spinning around to face each other again. Trent adjusted the controls on his ATV. "Laser fire, full power."

Michael swiftly escaped the blast.

Meanwhile, back in the warehouse, the four rangers fought off the tyrannodrones by firing their bike lasers at them. As Kira and Ethan regrouped at the entrance of the warehouse, the monster knocked them off their bikes. Both rangers watched in despair as their bikes collided with parked cars, causing them to get damaged. Not even a second later, Conner followed suit. Kim luckily learned from her friends' mistakes and pulled up next to the other three.

"Guys, are you okay?" she asked in concern.

"Think so," Conner murmured, as he and the others grabbed their aching sides.

"Is that all you got?" the monster drawled.

"Super Dino Mode!"

"Super What?"

All four rangers all charged at the bad guys who did the same. Conner kicked the monster to the ground while the others took on the tyrannodrones.

"Come on," Michael egged Trent on, who was hot on his trail.

"I'm right behind you! You can run, but you can't hide!" Trent started to fire at Michael who dodged them all before stopping. He momentarily lost control of the ATV before regaining it again, just in time to get away from Trent."There's no escape. Turning bird." The white ranger eagerly chased him before they both stopped on opposite ends of another car park, facing each other.

"Don't think I won't destroy you, Trent," Michael threatened, as he revved his engine.

"Whatever you say, old man," Trent countered coolly, doing the same.

"You asked for it."

"Bring it."

Black and white fought each other again, remaining on their ATVs.

Neither of them could've guessed what would happen next. Rather unexpectedly, Trent was hurled off his ATV by a green dino ranger.

"What is this!?" the white ranger snapped.

"A veteran ranger," the green ranger replied, getting onto Trent's ATV. Michael grinned under his helmet, knowing exactly who this was.

"C'mon!" he told the green ranger. "Let's go help the others!"

Conner, Kira, Ethan and Kim finished off the tyrannodrones, leaving them with the creature.

"Three of the bikes are history. We're through here. Bye."

Unfortunately for it, Michael chose that specific moment to enter on his ATV, sending it to the floor via the use of lasers.

"Go Dad!"

"Gives wild ride a whole new meaning," Michael uttered dismounting his ATV as a second ranger arrived on Trent's ATV. But this wasn't the white ranger. He was green.

"Later days," the monster sang before escaping via invisiportal.

"Who is this?" Kira queried in an exasperated tone. "Not one of Trent's friends?"

"Certainly not!" said ranger snarled, running up to the other ranger who was currently on his ATV. His anger faded away when he saw the state of the warehouse. Trent chuckled heartlessly, glancing at the wrecked raptor cycles. "I see my friends have been keeping you busy... someone's been careless with their toys."

"You're making a mistake Trent," Michael alerted the teen. "Don't trust Mesogog."

"Who says I do?" Trent fired back. "I got what I wanted. Goodbye, rangers."

"What about our zords?" Ethan asked in a strangled voice.

"Say goodbye to them too."

"Trent... don't do this?" Michael pleaded one last time.

"I'll deal with you later," Trent told the green ranger, ignoring his teacher. "Dragozord, online. I'm out of here."

The green ranger then took his helmet off, stunning everyone but Kim and Mike.

"Sick!" Conner and Ethan let out in unison, clapping Tommy on the back. Tommy revelled in their praise and took the time to share an excited smile with Kim, from across the room. Kira watched this and sighed, missing Trent - the real one - more than ever. Michael looked at his team before turning the com-link on.

"Hayley, we're coming back. Got a few surprises for you."

"Can we go over this again?" Conner implored, for the fifth time already. "Trent made a deal with Mesogog, letting him pretend that Insectolite turned him back into himself as a way of getting us to take the rigged ATV?"

"I can't believe that he made a deal with Mesogog," Kira complained, disappointed with Trent once again. "That's a new low."

"And risky," Ethan added. "Trent was supposed to beat us. Mesogog's not going to be happy."

"Lighting the candle at both ends the white ranger is bound to get burnt," Tommy declared. He then looked over at Kira, who had her head in her hands, looking pretty upset. He caught Kim's gaze and then jerked his head towards the young girl. Kim rolled her eyes. She could practically hear what Tommy was saying. Looks like all the female rangers fall for the evil one. She shook her head at him before going over to comfort Kira.

"And I think I know how to get the fire going," Hayley spoke, in response to Tommy's comment. "The ray used by Insectolite destroyed your energy shields, but I bet if you could get that creep to aim his energy buster at the zords..."

"They could break through the shields Trent put around them," Michael finished, smiling as Hayley nodded.

"Okay, just one small problem," Ethan reminded the team. "How's Trent going to feel about this?"

"Every trap needs its bait," Hayley stated coyly.

Kira, Conner, Kim, Tommy, Ethan and Michael all walked through the warehouse district again, searching for Trent.

"Trent! Where are you?" Kira called. She didn't like making a fool out of Trent but then again, she didn't like being made a fool out of either, so she just went with the plan.

"We gotta talk bro!" Conner announced.

"Trent!" Ethan repeated.

"Come out!" Kim summoned.

"Don't be shy!" Tommy taunted. Maybe insulting him would draw him out.

"You made a deal with Mesogog... now it's time you made one with us," Michael proclaimed.

Sure enough, Trent appeared before doing his signature move: running past them with suoer speed while attacking with his dragosword. Conner and Trent fought like they had that morning, arms locked together.

"You wanted to see me?" Trent questioned.

"We wanted to make a little deal of our own," Conner answered.

"I don't make deals with posers," Trent insulted.

"Take that back," Conner growled, letting his anger get the better of him as he swung his fist at Trent. Trent merely used Conner's back as a trampoline and flew onto a wall, looking down at the others.

"You just won't learn will you?" he barbed.

"Learn what?" Conner flung back.

"That the white ranger always wins," Trent claimed before disappearing in a flash of colour.

"He may have a point," Tommy joked, referring to his days as the white ranger. Kim playfully nudged him.

Mike's morpher beeped. "Go."

"It's working. The monster is back on the other side of the warehouse," Hayley reported.

"Got it."

"Come on," Conner commanded, leading the others to the warehouse. "There he is!"

"Huh?" the monster sounded as he turned around to look at them. "Out of my way. I've been sent to get the white one."

The six rangers all got into a fighting stance ready to fight him before charging in and knocking him away as they regrouped.

"Sabres!" they all yelled as they pulled them out.

The creature blasted his laser at them knocking the rangers to ground, but Mike quickly got up.

"Brachiostaff! Energy orb!" Michael shouted as he drew a circle with his weapon. "You're going down!"

The energy orb hit the monster making him stagger as the other rangers got to their feet.

"Let's help him out guys," Conner announced. "Tyranno Staff!"

"Tricera Shield!"

"Ptera Grips!"

"Pteranowhip!"

"Quetzalsword!"

The others summoned their main weapons before attacking him, sending him to the ground before they regrouped with Michael.

"That got him," Ethan commented.

"Yeah, now help me load him up," Michael ordered.

The other five nodded before restraining Insectolite.

"Let me go," Insectolite begged, as Mike pulled him off his ATV. "This is your cue Insectolite." He pushed him further into the forest. "Do it!"

Regrettably, the white ranger shot him down before he could complete his task.

"You're too late," Trent informed. "See ya."

Trent walked away from the zords, pointing his sword back at them over his head. An explosion took place.

"Come on!" Conner and the others lurched forward blindly.

"Oh no!" Kira gasped.

"It can't be!" Mike cried.

Smoke puffed out of the newly empty barrels, making the rangers hold their breaths in anticipation.

"They survived," Conner observed happily before all six of them tottered around as the ground shook.

The Dino Stegazord stomped towards them.

"Dinozords," Trent roared. "Attack!""

To their horror, the auxiliary zords joined with the Dino Stegazord leaving the rangers feeling betrayed.

"Our zords," Conner spluttered in disbelief. "They switched teams."

"Another trick," his father added.

"I thought they would make a nice addition to my collection," Trent stated smugly.

"No way!" Kira cried out indignantly.

"That's crazy," Ethan exclaimed.

"The starfish device was just to re-program them to obey me," Trent explained proudly.

"You won't get away with this," Mike told him as he clenched his fist. He then raised his morpher. "Brachio!"

The three primary rangers jumped up into their zords' cockpits before combining while Tommy, Mike and Kira watched from the side.

"Let's make them pay," Conner roared.

"You can't afford it." Trent guffawed as the Dino Stegazord repeatedly punched the Thundersaurus Megazord using the cephalazord arm, wreaking havoc in the cockpit. "Dimetrozord, saw blade!"

Receiving more blows, the megazord fell to the ground, smoking radiating from it.

"With our zords, he's too powerful!" Kira stated.

"Now you're beginning to get it. Why don't you just surrender the rest of your zords to me?"

"If you think we'd do that, you're crazier than I thought!" Conner bellowed in disgust.

"Then I'll take them," Trent conceded.

The Dino Stegazord marched forward, raising the dimetroblade again while the rangers begged for mercy. However, before Trent could proceed something slammed into him from behind, knocking him off-balance. He turned to see Insectolite in skyscraper form.

"I'm back!"

"Out of my way, insect," Trent grunted, ripping through the creature and destroying it in one move. "Another day, rangers."

"Why does he do this every damn time!" Kira complained, her head resting on Kim's raptor cycle. "I swear even when he becomes good again, I'll never forgive him!"

"Sure you won't," Kim teased. Kira said when rather than if, meaning she believed they'd get the old Trent back one day. Hopefully soon.

"Why can't he just give up?" Ethan whined, also leaning on Kim's bike.

"Good thing I never give up," Hayley told them as she walked up to them, making the the three teens look over at her. "Your bikes are fixed."

"Hayley, you're the best," Conner told her, from his seat on Kim's cycle.

"Just don't do it again okay?" Hayley requested, the youngsters nodding in an instant. "And as an added bonus, I've reprogrammed the ATV. Which should come in handy."

"We're going to need all the help we can get," Mike told them. "With Trent and Mesogog teamed up for good, we're going to have real battle on our hands."

"It's a good thing I'm a ranger then, huh?" Tommy interjected, making the others laugh.

"Do you guys have to go already?" Kim asked, hugging Aisha. All the former rangers were leaving today, just when it seemed like they were needed the most.

"Yeah," Rocky replied, hugging Tommy. "Tommy's a ranger now. You've got six rangers! And when you get Purple's boyfriend back, you'll be seven rangers. I'm sure you'll do a great job!"

"You're lucky she's not here!" Hayley told Rocky, referring to Kira.

"Good luck," Jason told Mike, shaking hands with him.

"Thanks, we'll need it," Mike replied, chuckling. Kim hugged a few more of her friends before moving over to Jason.

"Hey, come here," Jason told her, pulling her to the corner of the room. Kim gave him a questioning glance. "It's about Tommy. Look after him for me."

"Okay..." Kim trailed off, confused as to why he had to take her aside, just to say that.

"And when you get back together with him, bring him along to visit Kat and I. She's been nagging me about it for ages!"

"Is it so hard to ask him yourself?" Kim enquired incredulously. Jason laughed nervously, scratching his head.

"What do I say to you? Kat and I made a mistake and no matter how much we apologise, it's like he can never fully forgive us because he hasn't fully healed yet. I mean sure, he talks to us and all, but he hasn't really been able to trust us... not until now anyway..." The way Jason looked at her made her blush.

"What do you mean?" she asked anxiously, staring at the ground.

"You know what I mean." Kim's heart skipped a beat. "After so many years, his heart is finally starting to warm up again. Please don't deny yourself Kim. You two can be happy again. And then maybe, he can finally let go of the bitterness. It'd be nice to be friends with him again, properly. I'm sure that's what he wants too. You as a girlfriend. And Kat and I as friends."

As Jason pulled Kim into a hug, all the latter could think about was her ex and how deeply she'd hurt him in the past. Did they really have another chance? Only time could tell.

A/N: Ooooh, wonder what'll happen next. ;)
