A/N: Well, we had an engineer over a few days back and the internet seems to be working a lot better. Still not as great as our previous ISP, but another engineer's coming over next week so hopefully, the issue will be sorted out soon.

sabina21: Who said anything about getting them back? The yellow gemstone died.

hewhoreaps: Now Kira only understands what Trent's going through even more since she's experienced it too. Yep, there's still a lot to come yet for Kim. I used to write on word but I just find it easier to do on doc manager; my laptop doesn't seem to like uploading files online. But thanks.

brankel1: She's not getting these powers back, they're gone. :(

Son of Whitebeard: Ikr.

LovelyLoveble: Thanks.

Apollo Holmes: Lol, procrastination is a bitch. I didn't cry in the end cos life moves on. :)

Emolichic1: Thanks, it's definitely a life changing event.

"Oh for God's sake! Who? Derrick? You mean that guy who can't score a goal properly? Are you serious? Wow, Ethan loves that laptop. Okay, I'll tell you if I see him. Yeah, bye." Kira put her phone away and then picked up a stack of papers, carrying it over to Mike's desk. She grumpily dumped the stack on the table, not noticing that her actions caused the black ranger to jump.

"No offense, Doctor M," Kira started, sitting down next to him. "But you need serious improvement when it comes to organization."

"That's why you're here," Mike replied, patting her shoulder. "Thanks for helping me out." Kira smiled softly for a second before frowning. "What's wrong? You don't look too happy."

"Oh, I just got a call from Conner. He says that some guy's been picking on Ethan and he's looking for him. He asked me if Ethan's with me, told me to keep him away from that guy... I think his name is Derek..."

"Derrick?" Michael asked, recognising the name.

"Yeah, that's the one," Kira answered.

"Hmm, he's a troublemaker. He's in your class, right?"

"I don't know," Kira huffed in response. "I don't really care. I mean, he's got to be really pathetic if he's picking on someone he barely knows." She rolled her eyes and changed the subject. "What is all this stuff anyway?"

"Odds and ends," Mike responded. Mostly from before I joined up with Mercer. I thought as along as I'm stuck in my ranger form, I may as well put the time to good use."

Tommy walked in just then, seemingly looking for something.

"Tommy?" Mike called.

"Oh hey Michael, I think Kim dumped some of her old stuff here?"

Kira moved a piece of paper aside before she came upon a picture for the former rangers all in morph without their helmets.

"Wow," she breathed as she picked it up. "Nice hair."

Kira showed the picture to Mike.

"Hey, it was in style back then," Tommy retorted, taking the picture from her. He looked to Mike. "Right?"

"If you think that's bad, you should see my school photos," the black ranger commented.

Kira turned her attention back to the papers, trying not to laugh.

"Oh yeah, I remember where she put them," Tommy spoke up, walking over to a corner of the lab and fishing out some more old photos and other things. "Is there anything else of hers over there?"

Kira scrambled through the papers to see if there were any more photos of Kim, Tommy or the other originals.

"Uhh, no." Tommy nodded.

"How's she holding up?" Mike questioned, referring to Kim. Tommy sighed.

"She's getting there. With accepting everything that's happened and all," he answered, putting all of Kim's old things in one box. "I thought taking this stuff to her would help. I think she needs closure. She lost her powers before and moved on from it. Hopefully, she can do the same now."

"Yeah, you never know," Mike commented. "See you later." Tommy nodded and left the lab with the box in tow.

"Poor Kim, I hope she's okay," Kira stated, remembering how heartbroken Kim had been on that fateful day. She reminded her of herself when she found out about Trent being the evil white ranger.

"She will be. Just give her time," Michael advised, fiddling with some more old papers. Kira did the same with the old photos.

"Is this who I think it is?" she asked as she held up another picture.

"Man," Michael sighed as he took it. "That seems like a lifetime ago." Kira looked at her mentor in curiosity. "This picture was taken as my first dig."

"Who's that guy?" Kira pointed to the male on Anton's left whose image was half faded out.

"His name is Terence Smith, but everyone called him Smitty," Mike replied.

"What happened to him?" Kira enquired.

"It's kinda of sad really," Mike started to answer. "He and I were up for the same job at Anton Mercer Industries. Anton chose me so Smitty went to work for another company. Then, there was this accident."

"Not really a happy family memento," Kira commented.

"I'm not even sure where it came from," Michael stated as he looked at her. "Just put over there on that trash pile."

"Okay," she responded, taking the photo and dropping it into the box.

Kim stared out of the window, watching the hustle and bustle of the main road but not actually registering any of it. She felt like she was in a dream... or a nightmare. Everything rushed past her.

Her ears picked up the sound of a doorbell ringing.

Begrudgingly, she hauled herself up from the chair she had been sulking in and dragged herself to the door.

It was Tommy.

"Hi Kim!" he exclaimed cheerfully, walking in while carrying a massive cardboard box with familiar looking things in it.

Kim smiled weakly. That was Thomas Oliver. Always trying his best to cheer her up, even if she didn't want to herself.

"What's this?" she croaked, her voice hoarse due to both misuse and emotion.

"Some of your old things," he chirped. "Including photos."

Kira was rushing to class when she came upon Ethan, in his civilian form, fighting a new monster. She spotted their classmates hiding behind bushes and trees and rolled her eyes. Someone had to morph and it couldn't be Ethan.

"As if I'm not late enough," she complained before moving back to hide behind the pillars.

"Ready. Dino Thunder! Power up! Ha!" She was morphed. "Ptera Power!"

Kira watched as Ethan was thrown across the field and just as he went down, she pulled out her thundermax laser and then jumped into the fight.

"Hey, back off!" she yelled as she fired at the bad guys before landing. She looked down at Ethan. "You okay?" He nodded. "Little boy, why don't you step aside?"

"Little boy?" Ethan repeated in disgust. Kira rolled her eyes at his manly pride, still standing in a stance in front of Zeltrax and the monster.

"Go on Ethan," she whispered, jerked her head. "Go."

"Right," he said once he caught on, running to find a secluded area.

Kira started to fight hand to hand with the monster while dodging Zeltrax. She thought back to the good old days when, in the absence of the boys, Kim would always be nearby on the school grounds to help her out. Zeltrax pushed her away from him while the monster kicked her in the back, making her stumble forward. The monster, Termitron, leapt towards Kira only to be hurled to the ground by the blue ranger.

"This guy bugs me," Ethan grumbled before fighting with said monster.

Kira was knocked back by Zeltrax when Cassidy and Devin ran up to her with a camera in tow.

"Oh cool," Cassidy exclaimed, he inner feminist coming out. "A girlie ranger."

The purple ranger grabbed Cassidy's arm, pulling her away as Zeltrax swung his sword at her. Devin ducks the sword when it went in his direction and ran to join Cassidy.

Ethan was thrown back by the monster and landed in between Cassidy and Devin.

"Okay, if you could just be still for one moment," Cassidy began, speaking into the microphone while she and Devin leaned down to get closer to Ethan. "We're like trying to conduct an interview here!" Ethan ignored her and got up to attack the monster. "Whatever!"

Ethan was thrown to the ground once again and got up, pulling out his laser, only to be hounded by the reporter couple.

"Huh?" he let out.

"Can you tell exactly what's happening here?" Cassidy asked sweetly. Ethan pushed past Devin, knocking him to ground. He fired at the monster.

"I've got one too!" the monster taunted, firing back at him.

Meanwhile, Kira and Zeltrax were fighting nearby. Zeltrax kicked Kira in the stomach and she stepped back.

"He always gets me with that one!" she whined.

"How about this one?" Zeltrax asked as he blasted Kira off he feet. It seemed like everyone had lasers these days!

"Kira!" Ethan shouted, running over to Kira and helping her sit up, forgetting that they had an audience. Luckily, no one seemed to hear him over all the blasting.

"I'm okay," Kira assured him as the baddies also regrouped.

"Nice shot," Termitron complimented his master.

"I want you to give a message to the black ranger," Zeltrax told them.

"Have you ever heard of email?" Ethan teased in a condescending tone.

"Tell him to surrender to me at the old warehouse before sunset or I will turn Termitron loose on the city," Zeltrax ordered, ignoring Ethan, before vanishing via invisiportal.

"Great," Ethan muttered.

Kim was curled up on the sofa, a blanket on top of her, as she flicked through an old photo album and added a few loose photos to it.

She came across a picture of her and Tommy at their first dance together, the two of them locked in an embrace with identical barely contained grins on their faces.

"What's that you got there?" Tommy questioned, handing her a mug of hot chocolate. She muttered a thanks while putting the album down so she could hold the mug properly. Her boyfriend sat down next to her, sipping his own mug of hot chocolate, craning his neck to get a better look at the picture.

"The one where we're at the dance, half hugging half dancing," she pointed out.

"Oh. We look so cute there," he observed, making her giggle. She was finally starting to lighten up. She loved how Tommy got her like no one else did. "Do you remember that time I asked you to the dance?"

"How could I forget? You were so nervous. It was adorable," she teased, before taking another sip.

"Good to know that you take me so seriously," he joked, setting his empty mug down and becoming all serious. "I remember how my confidence plummeted down to the Underworld after losing my powers. I was so scared to ask you because I wasn't a ranger anymore. How did you feel about me?"

Kim made a face. "What do you mean?"

"Did you think any less of me when I wasn't a ranger anymore?" he elaborated, putting his arm around her shoulders.

"Of course not," she responded swiftly.

Tommy gently took her free hand into his and gave it a friendly squeeze. She peered up at him, wondering what he wanted to say.

"I want you to know that I understand what you're going through."

"I know you do."

"And also, that it doesn't change my opinion of you. Or anyone else's. You are smart, beautiful, intelligent, brave, strong... the list goes on."

The ex yellow ranger blushed, feeling tears well up in her eyes. To hear these words from her own boyfriend meant everything to her. She did need some more time to come to terms with the pterozord's death but she knew she could do it if Tommy believed in her. She just needed to believe in herself too.

"Did you say something?" she asked, noticing that Tommy was giving her an expectant look.

"Yeah, I said I think we need to get away." He took the empty mug from her hand and put it on the coffee table. "Get dressed. I'll be back in ten minutes."

"Why? Where are we going?" Kim implored, sighing inwardly when Tommy let go of her hand.

"You'll see," he told her as he stood up and stretched. Kim watched him with a puzzled expression on her face. Just what was he planning?

Kira and Ethan ran into the classroom before coming to a halt in front of Anton. The rest of the class gawked at them.

"Sorry we're late," Ethan apologized. "Did we miss anything?"

"Well, nothing you can't make up in detention after school," Anton replied suavely. "Today."

"Why does this feel really familiar?" Kira asked as they started walking towards their seats.

Kira whipped her head in Derrick's direction when Ethan was tripped up by him. Ethan looked over at the Derrick with a glare.

"My bad," he told Ethan, smirking at him. Kira really felt like slapping him but decided against it, helping him up.

"Derrick, I believe that there are rules in the student hand book about treating your follow students with courtesy and respect," Anton started, as Kira and Ethan took their sets. "Why don't you join us in detention today? To review them." Derrick looked down in defeat and embarrassment before glaring at Ethan and mouthing 'after school,' Ethan returned the glare and Conner watched the whole exchange, looking at Ethan in concern. "Now, why don't we open our textbooks to chapter eight?"

"You are going to tell Doctor M about Zeltrax, right?" Kira more or less told Conner as the two of them and Ethan walked through the corridor.

"Yeah, okay," Conner relented. "But, what about you, Ethan?"

"What about me?" Ethan asked with a scowl on his face.

"The fight," Conner answered.

"The whole school knows about it," Kira pointed out.

As if on cue, Cassidy and Devin cut them off, arguing about the fight before they noticed Ethan.

"Oh, Ethan, hello," Cassidy greeted. "Good luck for today, and if you happened to fall over, fall towards the camera. That'll be really good for me."

"Okay," Ethan muttered as Cassidy and Devin disappeared.

"Look, unlike some people, we're your friends and we're not about to let you do something stupid. So Derrick is a bully who can kick your butt, who cares?" Kira ranted before staring at Ethan. "Wait, you're not gonna use your dino power on him, right?"

"No, I'm not going to use my dino power."

"Dude, no offense, but without it..." Conner started.

"There are other ways to deal with a bully," Ethan injected.

Conner watched as Ethan walked away from him with along with Kira, presumably on his way to detention.

Tommy and Kim stood outside the door of the comfortable-looking house, waiting to be let in. They had just rung the doorbell and Kim had no idea where she was. Although the jeep on the driveway did look very familiar. Wait, it wasn't...?

Her thoughts were interrupted when the door opened, a blonde woman peering her head around the door.

"Tommy?!" the woman exclaimed, pulling the door open further to reveal a baby in her arms. "I'd hug you but Jasper would get in the way."

"Hi, Kat! Jason's in right?" Tommy questioned.

"Yeah sure, come in," Kat invited her ex-boyfriend in, stepping back so he could get through. "You too Kim!" Kim snapped out of her daze and walked in, following Tommy. "He's in the kitchen."

"Cool." Tommy headed for the kitchen, obviously having been here before many times. Kim found that interesting. Despite not being able to forget what had happened between the three of them, they still made an effort to sustain whatever was left of their friendship.

"Hey Kim!" Jason's voice called from the kitchen.

Although Kim couldn't see him, she responded with a 'hey.' At the moment, her eyes were fixed on the baby Jasper who was drinking milk from a bottle while resting in his mother's arms. He looked exactly like Kat with his blue eyes and blonde hair.

"He's so beautiful," Kim observed as she followed Kat into the living room. "Like you."

"Thanks," Kat replied cheerfully, before lowering the volume on the TV.

Suddenly, Kim heard a somewhat muffled yelp of 'oh no!'

Kat giggled and looked back at Kim. "Katicia's going through potty training," she explained.

Kim laughed as she imagined Tommy and Jason reacting to a puddle of toddler pee on the kitchen floor.

"You're going?" Conner repeated. "Isn't that walking right into his hands?"

"Maybe, but he's not going to stop pushing us around until someone stands up to him," Michael told his son. "Let's go see what Zeltrax is up to. Come on."

Conner nodded his head before the two of them left the lab.

"Kim, Tommy told me what happened when we last spoke on the phone," Kat divulged, putting her son down in the nearby cot.

"Really?" Kim asked as she and Kat sat down on the couch.

"Yes. Do you remember when I told you about my diving accident and you told me about your gymnastics one?" Kim nodded, remembering it very well. After falling off the balance beam at Ernie's, she had lost all of her confidence and couldn't bring herself to train full time with Gunthar Schmidt. Until Kat herself faced her own fears and performed that expert dive, convincing Kim to take the chance of a lifetime and fulfil her dream. "Well, I don't quite know what it's like to have my powers taken away from me like that but I do know the feeling of loss."

Kim gave Kat a confused look while the blonde just stared out into the distance. "What did you lose?"

"Tommy," Kat revealed, looking down in what seemed to be shame. Kim was a little startled. She thought that was over and done with.

"But you love Jason... don't you?" Isn't that the whole reason they went behind Tommy's back in the first place?

"It didn't quite happen that way," Kat stated, as if she could hear Kim's thoughts.

"You don't have to tell me," Kim said although that was more of a formality.

"But I want to," Kat claimed, turning to face her predecessor. "I don't know if Tommy's told you this but we started dating again after I returned from ballet school in the year two-thousand. The first few months it was all fine. We used to spend a great deal of time together and we even got a place together. And then things started to go wrong. Tommy's racing career really kicked off and we just saw less and less of each other. I don't think he meant to, but he neglected me and our relationship quite a bit. I... um... I developed an eating disorder sometime at the end of our first year together and everything just seemed to fall apart. I started to resent him for not being there and I resented myself for being so fat."

"Oh Kat," Kim breathed out, taking the blonde's hand in hers. She had no idea. An eating disorder? That was quite serious. Kat gave her an appreciative smile before carrying on.

"Jason was always there though. Before my eating disorder even hit, he was there as a friend. I was so lonely and Jason would often find himself filling Tommy's spot for him when he'd change plans last minute. So when I did start to feel self conscious, I started to seek Jason above Tommy because he was more likely to be there for me. And I was right. He made me feel all special. He was so understanding, so gentle. I was starting to regain my confidence and I guess I started to fall for him. And then, April two thousand and one, it happened. It really did just happen. I didn't want to tell Tommy because I'd hurt him but I also didn't want to hurt Jason either. I thought I was still in love with Tommy and I ignored my feelings for Jason. I honestly thought it was just too much red wine or too many lonely nights. And then you know the rest of it. I begged Tommy to give us another chance because I thought it'd work out between us despite me being pregnant with Katicia. But it didn't. I had fallen out of love with him and I doubt he ever loved me the same way I loved him. So... even though I was madly in love with Jason, losing Tommy still hurt more than I could ever imagine."

"I'm so sorry," Kim apologised, her cheeks burning with guilt. She never really considered Kat and Jason's side of things. Well, she did know that they were far too nice to have a full blown affair behind Tommy's back but she never really understood just how much Tommy had practically thrown the two of them together.

"What have you got to be sorry for?" Kat implored. "If anything, I should be thanking you. You've made Tommy happy and in turn, you've finally ousted the elephant in the room. We no longer feel like we're responsible for Tommy being lonely."

"Trust me, Tommy not dating anyone after you wasn't really all due to your relationship. He had a lot more going on behind the scenes," Kim assured her successor.

"That's a relief," Kat commented, letting out a shaky laugh and wiping away a few stray tears. "Anyway, the whole point of that was to show you that you will move on. The pterazord would want you to move on in life, don't you think?"

Kim nodded. Yes. She never really thought of her zord. They did have feelings too. Would her zord really have wanted a lifetime of moping for her? No. She didn't believe so.

"Anyway, I still haven't seen Katicia. Where is she?"

Kat grinned at Kim as they both got up to find the guys and little Miss Scott.

"Where is that hunk of junk?" Conner asked as he and Mike looked around the warehouse.

"Stay focused," Michael demanded. "I've got a bad feeling about this." He was proved right when Termitron appeared from behind some boxes.

"You really are suckers for punishment," he chanted, laughing as Mike and Conner got into a fighting stance.

Father and son looked at each other before charging in at the monster.

Kira, Ethan, Derrick and Anton all stared at the clock until it was exactly four o clock.

"You may leave," Anton announced before leaving.

"That was fun," Kira mumbled sarcasically while Ethan let out a sigh.

Their morphers beeped just as they were about to get up and leave. Ethan looked over at Derrick.

"We may have to reschedule," he told him.

"I knew you would try to get out of it," Derrick quipped cockily.

"Believe me, I want this over at much as you," Ethan informed him. "But something just came up."

"He's not lying," Kira backed him up, looking at the bully. "It's important."

"Soon as I'm done, I'll be back," Ethan went on. "I'll meet you on the soccer field."

"One hour," Derrick offered as the other two stood up. "And if you don't come back, I'll come looking for ya." Ethan looked at him. "And you won't like when I find ya." Kira and Ethan exchanged an annoyed glance.

Derrick watched them as they dashed off.

Kira and Ethan entered the warehouse and were met with the sight of the McKnights on the ground with Termitron towering over them.

"Guys!" Ethan yelled, running over to them with Kira.

Each of them helped one up before facing Termitron.

"I thought you were suppose to meet Zeltrax," Kira told Mike.

"I guess he was afraid to face me in person," Mike spat.

"He'll be here," the monster cut in. "I'm just the welcoming party."

"I guess we better change into our costumes then," Conner conceded. "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Dino Thunder! Power up! Ha!"

Conner sprang up into the air and kicked Termitron.

"You posers are no match for me," the monster bragged. "Bug bombs." Much to disgust and annoyance of the rangers, they were attacked by a swarm of insects. Conner roll away and pulled out his blaster, destroying the bugs quickly. "Hey! Those are my babies!"

"Feel this baby!" Conner bellowed, hitting him with his tyranno staff. "Tyranno Staff!" Conner used his staff to as a base to spin on, kicking Termitron repeatedly and knocking him to the ground. "Let's put 'em together."

Calling on their own weapons, the other two rangers combined their weapons together with Conner's.

"Z-rex blaster!" Termitron rose to his feet.

"Time to bug out," Ethan quipped.

"Fire!"

Conner pulled the trigger and they watched as Termitron was destroyed.

"Good work," Mike praised.

The rangers exited the warehouse as Termitron reappeared in skyscraper form.

"I'm a big bad bug."

"You guys ready?" Mike asked them as they looked up at the bug.

Just then, Zeltrax fell out of an invisiportal.

"Rangers."

"Better late than never," Mike said.

"I'd say my timing is perfect," Zeltrax claimed, pointing his weapon at them. "Give up and I'll call him off or take your chances with me."

"You know what I choose guys?" Mike queried.

"Right," the others replied.

The three teen rangers ran off as Mike raised his morpher to his mouth.

"Brachio!" he called before the black carrier zord appeared. The teens' zords combined into the Thundersaurus Megazord and said rangers proceeded to fight with Termitron.

Mike pulled out his weapon and fought with Zeltrax.

"I'm pretty sick of meeting like this!" Mike complained as he stood across from his enemy. "Just tell me what it is you have against me!"

"Does the name Terrence Smith mean anything to you?"

Mike looked down in shock, remembering the discarded photo from earlier that day. "Smitty?" Zeltrax took advantage of his shock and confusion, hurling him into some barrels. He stepped back as the black ranger stood up again. "Smitty? But you were lost in that accident!"

"I was on the verge of a breakthrough when it all went wrong. Mesogog found me and put me back together again. He's a genius in cybernetic reconstruction," Zeltrax narrated his story before charging at Mike.

"Oh man, Smitty," Mike sighed pitifully as he locked swords with him. "Genius or not, he's the enemy; you shouldn't be fighting for him!"

"He gave me life. Life you stole from me. And now you will repay it with yours!"

"Don't do this Smitty! Revenge is never the answer!"

"It's all that's kept me going!" Zeltrax ground out, kicking Michael into some boxes. "Revenge is mine!"

"My advice is find another hobby!" Mike hollered, running towards him and deflecting all his laser attacks.. "Give it up Zeltrax!"

"Never!"

"I hate to do this, Smitty! Dino energy orb! Fire!" Zeltrax was floored by the energy orb. "Had enough?"

"I'll be back!" Zeltrax warned, standing up. "I promise you that!"

"Smitty?" Mike said to himself, still unable to believe what he had discovered. "Man..."

Conner and Ethan walked onto the soccer field towards Derrick.

"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Conner asked Ethan. "I mean, the guy's a jerk."

"Would you just trust me? For once?" Ethan chirped, rolling his eyes at the red ranger as they came to a stop in front of Derrick.

Conner protectively stood in front of Ethan as they stared at the lousy soccer player.

"Out of the way McKnight," Derrick muttered. "This is between me and the geek here."

Conner exchanged a look with Ethan, who silently gave permission, before he went to stand with Kira and Cassidy.

"Okay, here's the deal," Ethan spoke up. "I could fight you. But, what would that prove? Instead I would like to make you a proposition."

Derrick scoffed at Ethan.

"You're bailing?"

"I think I can improve your game," Ethan proposed, making Derrick fold his arms and listen. "If I do, you promise to back off me and my friends." Derrick just stood there looking at Ethan without saying a word as some of Ethan's computer club friends appeared. "My LT, please." Conner and Kira made amused face as Ethan's mate walked over and handed him his laptop. Ethan started to type on the laptop, turning it a little bit so that Derrick could see. "This is a computer image of you kicking." Derrick leaned a bit to the side to get a better view. "I superimposed it against a pro-player in Manchester."

"How'd you do that?" Derrick questioned once he saw the video images.

"I'm a computer geek, remember?" Ethan reminded him.

Derrick looked at him and smirked. "Oh yeah."

"Look," Ethan pointed out as he replayed the video images. "See where you're blowing it? It's just that one little hitch in your kick."

Derrick looked at Ethan, speculating the situation. He decided to try it. The two boys made their way to the crowd who were in the front of the goal. The goalie got ready as Ethan placed the ball in front of Derrick and stepped back to stand with his fellow rangers. He nodded to Derrick who ran forward and kicked the ball which went straight past the goalie and into the net. Everyone cheered while Derrick and Ethan grinned.

"I can't believe it worked," Derrick told Ethan.

"I told ya," Ethan boasted smugly.

"Where did you learn how to do that?" Derrick enquired.

"The net," Ethan answered. "Well, the internet that is."

"That's pretty cool," Derrick admitted, as the crowd began to disperse. "And I'm sorry about...about before. I just thought that a guy like you, you know, so smart and all, wouldn't want to talk to a guy like me. I guess I was wrong."

Kira and Conner came over to Ethan.

"It's a brave new world out there my friend," Ethan told Derrick as Conner clapped a hand on his shoulders.

"Oh yeah."

"Let's go," Kira insisted.

Derrick watched as the three rangers strolled off.

"How are you feeling?" Tommy asked as he drove through the highway, Kim sat on his right in the passenger seat of the rented car.

"Surprisingly great," she answered. "Katicia looks exactly like Jason doesn't she? She's gorgeous!"

Tommy did a double take at Kim, quickly looking at the road again. "Should I be jealous? I already lost one girlfriend to him!" he teased.

"Nah, he's all Kat's. She loves him you know," she told him. "It'll take a great deal more than a handsome guy to make me let go of you."

Tommy beamed, satisfied with her answer. Kim smirked, her eyes watching the landscape pass by. She no longer felt like the world was passing her by. In fact, she now felt like she was outrunning the world. And it felt great.

A/N: Review! I know the scene constantly changing between Kim and Tommy and then the rest of the rangers was a little annoying but I really didn't want to split this chapter into two. I'm really OCD with having my bigger stories have a number of chapters that is a multiple of five. I plan on having forty chapters in this. Lol, I'm so petty.

So, Kim's mood drastically changes between the beginning of the chapter and the end. WDYT?

P.S. In case you're curious, Jasper is one month old (December 2003) and Katicia is around two years old (December 2001).
