A/N: Wow, ten reviews guys! Keep it up!

sabina21: Thanks. Waking up won't be easy...

Killeraction49: Thanks. I always aim to make them longer but since this episode is in two parts, I couldn't quite make the previous one long enough.

duke drake: I'm glad you approve of the 'triangle' and don't immediately think 'she ripped that off from Twilight' unlike some.

hewhoreaps: Yep, I totally agree. Kim and Kira have already been kidnapped once each and also brainwashed, twice in Kira's case. I don't think I want to go down that route again.

ICrzy: Thanks. And it's fine, as long as you continue to review now :)

andyg2525: Good guess.

Lord of The A.U. FanFiction: You don't sound rude... just a little weird. Anyway, Trent and Kira will kiss at one point. In fact, I've already written one up for chapter 38. And that won't be the only time either.

Apollo Holmes: I don't watch Dino Charge but if he's a villain then I can imagine him with the clone's voice :)

brankel1: Thanks.

pinkrangerpower: Dr M is Conner's dad and the black ranger. Tommy isn't a high school teacher because this an AU. He's a pro racer who's on a break instead.

"Hello! Hello! Anybody?" Tommy called, looking around the desert wastelands that he was standing in. "What is this place?"

"Hello Tommy," his own voice said, making him turn around to look up. "Remember me?" Tommy's eyes widened as he saw a familiar red figure. "Zeo Ranger Five. I can't believe you've forgotten already," Red Zeo said as he started walking down towards Tommy.

"But that's impossible."

"Oh, it's possible. And I'm still as tough as ever," Red Zeo replied, coming to a stop in front of Tommy."The question is... are you?"

"What is this? I'm not gonna fight you," Tommy told him.

"Then I suppose you'll be destroyed," Red Zeo claimed, pointing at the man before going into a fighting stance. Tommy quickly raised his wrist but realised there was nothing there on the bracelet.

"My gem. It's gone!" He looked back up and ducked just in time to dodge Red Zeo's kick. They continued fighting, flipping past each other to dodge one another's attacks until Red Zeo chucked Tommy into the shallow water.

"Washed up already, Tommy?" he taunted as said man stood back up again. He kicked him again but this time, Tommy hurled him into the water. "I see you've gotta lot of fight left in you. But is it enough?" Red Zeo teleported away.

"Wait!" Tommy called, a second too late. "What are ya talking about?"

Hayley and Kimberly both sat in the hospital room, sitting next to Michael and Tommy respectively. It had been a day since Terrorsaurus' last attack and the rangers were getting agitated. In his absence, some other random monsters were being sent by Mesogog's group. Conner, Trent, Ethan and Kira wore ridiculous black outfits and coloured masks to go and fight with the monsters. But they had no choice. They couldn't let innocent civilians get hurt but also couldn't let their identities be revealed either. Hayley remembered their words quite well.

"That's it. You guys can stay here and watch this but I can't," Conner said, walking past the other rangers to leave the room.

"Hold up," Ethan called.

"We're going with you," Kira told the red ranger.

"Hey! Where are you going? You don't stand a chance without your powers!" Hayley called after them but they kept on walking.

"That wouldn't stop Doctor M! And it's not gonna stop us either!" Ethan called. Trent was about to shut the door behind them when Kim put her foot in the gap.

"I agree that something has to be done," she said, stopping everyone in their tracks. "But you're going to need to go undercover. You'll be out in public."

"You're coming with us?" Trent asked. Kim sighed and shook her head. "I'll help you conceal your identities but that's it. I'm sorry guys but I have to be by Tommy's side."

After that, the teenage rangers protected the city whilst both Kimberly and Hayley stayed at the hospital. Conner insisted that he'd stay with Michael but Hayley protested, saying he had to preserve his energy for school and crime fighting. He reluctantly agreed and as a result, Hayley, as well as Kim, got no sleep the following night.

Soon after Tommy's collapse, Kim discovered that his dino gem had broken into three separate pieces. His morpher bracelet was bare now whereas Hayley had removed the fractured black dino gem from Michael's bracelet. She had said she could fix it but the truth was that she had no idea where to start. She'd never had to do this before. She didn't even know if it was possible to fix a broken gem, let alone two.

Doctor Walsh told the ladies that Michael and Tommy were getting progressively worse. Tommy's brain patterns were still as wild as they had been before and Michael's, although not as crazy at Tommy's, had also become scattered. The doctor didn't understand what exactly was going on and Hayley was just glad he didn't ask questions. Both she and Kim knew how easy it would be to link two of the rangers' disappearances to two friends - who wore black and green - suddenly collapsing on the same day. Not to mention the teen rangers' costume change.

"You've gotta wake up, Tommy," Kimberly urged, speaking to the unconscious man. "You've gotta." She turned around to see that Hayley had just dozed off, her head resting on the edge of Michael's bed. She wished she could do the same but she just had too much to say. After bottling it all up the day before, she decided to let it out. "We've still got so much left to do, you and me. You've got your whole life ahead of you... You know, it's funny... Umm, the day before we went to the clinic I actually thought I was pregnant. Can you believe it? I guess it's a good thing I'm not, given my ranger duties, but I was strangely excited at the thought of there being a little Tommy inside me. Can you imagine that? A little boy who looks like you." She stopped for a moment, composing herself. "Anyway, I was devastated when the test was negative. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the test so I decided to go to the clinic with you. I could've never guessed that I'd find out that I'm practically infertile. Not really infertile but it's the same thing; I can't carry a baby to full term. I can't give birth. Is my womb damaged because I'm a ranger? Kat was a ranger too but she has two perfectly healthy kids... Oh what am I saying? The bottom line is that you have to wake up. We have to defeat Mesogog together with the others. We've got to move forward. And I can't do it without you."

"H-Hayley?" a raspy voice spoke making Kim turn around. Hayley stirred, opening her eyes to see that Michael was finally awake.

"Oh Mike! You're awake!" she exclaimed happily, squeezing the hand she'd been holding all day. She gently removed her hand from his to reveal the black dino gem without the crack.

"It's great to be back," Michael commented. "I had a really weird dream where I saw Tommy fighting with himself."

"Welcome back, Mike," Kim said, coming over to hug him. "What's that about Tommy?"

"Oh, like I said, I saw Tommy fighting the red zeo ranger," Mike answered, recalling the fragments of the fight that he had seen. "Where is he any..." The black ranger trailed off when he found the answer on the adjacent hospital bed. "What happened?"

"You went into a coma after we made you visible again," Hayley started as Kim nodded. "On the same day, Tommy also went into a coma after fighting with one of Mesogog's monsters. He took their powers away so they can't morph now. Tommy's dino gem suddenly broke somehow... and the doctor said that it didn't look good for either of you."

"But you woke up so I'm hoping he will too," Kim stated with a reinvigorated sense of hope. "We should tell the kids."

"Tommy! Tommy!" a voice sang teasingly as Tommy looked around the new location he was trapped in. This time, it was forest with thousands of bare trees.

"Something tells me we're not in Reefside anymore," he told himself, taking in everything around him.

"You're in Angel Grove," the voice said, laughing evilly before landing in front of Tommy, in the form of the original white ranger. "Finally cut that hair, huh, Tommy?"

"White Ranger. But your powers were destroyed," Tommy said, trying to keep himself sane.

"You can't keep a good ranger down," White MM said, taking an eerily familiar pose.

"Ugh, not again," Tommy pleaded, still worn out from the last fight.

"For old times' sakes." They somersaulted in, going right past each other before landing on opposite sides. They proceeded to fight until White MM flipped Tommy over. He drew his sword as Tommy stood back up. He dodged the attacks made on him and was doing pretty well until White MM shot at him. "Fire!"

"Yo Dad!" Conner greeted, clapping his father on the shoulder.

"Doctor M, you're okay!" Kira exclaimed, as she, Ethan and Trent followed the red ranger to the hospital bed.

"I hate to kill the mood but Tommy still isn't awake," Michael stated solemnly, making the teens turn around. There Tommy was, looking as lifeless as he had the day before. It was worrying; the longer he stayed like this, the more likely he was to never wake up again.

"Seeing him like that, it really makes you appreciate life," Ethan pointed out, sounding wiser than his years. "We won't live forever."

Conner, Kira and Trent all exchanged awkward glances, taking their friend's mature words in. How long had they not been speaking to each other properly? Wasn't the grudge Conner was holding just plain stupid?

"Anyway, I'm gonna go and get a doctor," Kim spoke up, heading for the door.

"I'll come with you," Ethan said, sensing that his friends needed space. Hayley and Michael exchanged looks, wondering how they were going to 'keep out of it'.

"Well, I guess the doctor will discharge me soon," the black ranger began, smiling at the red head.

"Uhh, no, I don't think so," Hayley protested, adamantly shaking her head.

"So, which doctor is it?"

"Doctor Walsh."

"Wait, the one you liked when we were back in university?"

"What! When did I?!"

The remaining three teens walked over to Tommy's bed so that they couldn't hear Michael and Hayley's banter. Conner took in a deep breath, deciding to swallow his pride. Kira and Trent watched expectantly.

"Umm, I'm sorry guys," the red ranger apologised sincerely. "I shouldn't have said the things I said to you, Kira. And Trent, you didn't deserve the cold shoulder. And to both of you, I'm sorry for the... uhh... comments."

"What comments?" Trent questioned, feeling embarrassed.

"You know which ones," Conner replied sheepishly, looking down.

"I'm sorry too," Kira spoke up, surprising the boys. "I was really harsh on you when we broke up. A little too harsh."

"Nah, you were being honest," Conner commented. "I shouldn't have asked you out... not when..." He chanced a glance towards Trent, the white ranger's face burning up. "Yeah..."

"I shouldn't have said yes," Kira added truthfully. "We could've avoided the whole thing."

"Yeah, it would've never worked out anyway," the red ranger stated, looking horrified at the thought of a long term relationship with Kira. He put his arms around Kira and Trent's shoulders, smiling. "Anyway, you guys should totally go out."

"What?!" the pair spluttered, trying to get away from Conner and each other. They knew it was true but it was way too embarrassing when someone, especially their leader, said it out loud.

Doctor Walsh walked in, immediately stopping the conversations that were going on.

"You still with me? Come on, get up!" White MM urged, forcing Tommy to get up after he floored him once again. He pushed Tommy up against a tree, effortlessly blocking his next move. "Don't forget. I know all your old moves." Tommy struggled against him, breaking free momentarily before he was pinned to another tree.

"That might be true but I learnt a few new ones," the green ranger retorted, pushing White MM and leaping onto the bark of a tree when his next attack came. He glided towards another tree before finally kicking the white ranger and taking him down.

"Impressive," White MM praised, standing up again. "Now we'll see if you can face your toughest challenge." Tommy stared him down, waiting for him to charge again, when he suddenly disappeared.

"What? That wasn't tough?" Tommy asked no one in particular, panting and catching his breath.

"Any news, Doctor?" Hayley asked, standing near Tommy's hospital bed. "Is there anything you can tell us?" The doctor shook his head.

"I'm sorry Hayley, no change," he told her before walked away. Kim covered her face with her hands, weeping hoarsely, as Kira looked down and sighed.

"I wish there was something we could do," she mumbled. "I feel completely helpless." Trent nodded, putting a comforting arm around her. She smiled and leaned into him.

"Breaking news!" The rangers and Hayley all looked at the TV. "The creature is back!" It showed Terrorsaurus walking through town.

"I had a feeling he'd be back..." Ethan muttered, having expected his arrival yesterday.

"There's nothing we can do about it," Trent dismissed, recalling how much more powerful Terrorsaurus was than Mesogog's other monsters.

"Where are the power rangers?"

Tommy waded through some random fairytale forest, feeling like he was in a dream. Although, technically, he was. "Okay, this is weird. Even by ranger standards." He turned around when he heard some fizzling and watched as his green dragon dagger appeared mid-air. He quickly grabbed it. The original green ranger appeared a while after, walking towards Tommy. "I thought I might run into you."

"It's been a while, Tommy. I see you switched back to green."

"Seems to work best for me," the dino ranger quipped. "Let me guess; you wanna fight?"

"Yes. That's right." Tommy and Green MM fought until the former was pushed to the ground, the dagger falling into the hands of the latter. Green MM activated the oh so familiar green lightning, blasting Tommy five metres away.

"What are we waiting for?" Conner asked, looking at his fellows. "It's now or never."

The others nodded, heading for the door. Hayley looked to Michael and Kim, not wanting to let the former out of bed yet.

"Wait, I'm coming with you," Kim spoke, stopping the youngsters. They looked at her in surprise. "You'll need all the help you can get. Terrorsaurus is powerful."

"Are you sure?" Hayley implored, knowing how weepy Kim had been earlier in the day.

"Yes. I'm doing it for the civilians," Kim replied, casting a glance towards her comatose boyfriend. "And Tommy would want me to. He wouldn't appreciate me sitting around, doing nothing."

"Amen," Michael agreed as Kim and the others left. He gave Hayley a pointed look.

"Fine," she relented, getting the hint. "I'll go and get the doctor but you have to stay until he discharges you." Michael nodded, smiling innocently.

The rangers finally found Terrorsaurus, who had reappeared in the quarry.

"Alright freak!" Conner called as they skidded to a stop. "We're gonna stop you right here and now." The monster guffawed.

"Tough talk from a bunch of powerless rangers!" he mocked condescendingly. The rangers charged at Terrorsaurus, withstanding several of the blasts from his horns before he succeeded in flooring them with a really powerful one. "You're through!" The rangers groaned a bit before they got back to their feet. They charged at him again, throwing kicks and punches at him.

"This is pathetic!"

Green MM threw Tommy to the ground, lifting a discarded pillar from the ground like it weighed nothing. He put it down at a certain angle and then kicked it at Tommy. Said man barely dodged it by jumping out of the way.

"You know better than anybody how powerful I am!" Green MM told the man who lay at his feet. He raised his dagger up, the tip of the dagger touching his helmet. "Why don't you just give up on fighting?"

"That's the one thing I'll never do," Tommy said defiantly, sitting up and staring the green ranger down.

"Then I guess it's over." Green MM drew his dagger back, about to hit Tommy when he suddenly retracted it. Tommy looked on in confusion as he seemed to offer his hand to him. "You passed the test." He took his hand, a little stunned when the green ranger actually pulled him up.

"Test? What are you talking about?" Tommy asked as he spotted Red Zeo out of the corner of his eye.

"You haven't been fighting us. You've been fighting for your life," Red Zeo explained as he joined them.

"And you've proven that your will to live is stronger than any ranger power," Tommy whipped his head to see the white ranger also walk over. The trio of rangers stood in front of him, appearing to be pretty harmless. He watched as they struck their arms out in unison, uncurling their fists to reveal a fragment of green dino gem each.

"This is yours," the green ranger said as Tommy collected the fragments, somewhat hesitantly. "Good luck Green Ranger."

The world faded out to white and voices echoed in his head as his eyelids fluttered open.

"Tommy! You're okay!" Hayley exclaimed, looking back at something. Michael appeared by her side, wearing a hospital gown.

"Yeah, never felt better," Tommy responded, smiling at his friends before looking over at his curled fist. He opened it up to see one fully formed green dino gem.

The rangers faced yet another blast from Terrorsaurus, falling onto the ground for what seemed like the millionth time. The rangers grovelled on the ground, struggling to get up again.

"It's over!" Terrorsaurus declared before a figure in green caught him with a kick.

"Tommy!" Kim called happily as they looked up at him. Michael jumped in too, kicking Terrorsaurus as he got back up.

"You're alive!" Kira stared at Tommy in amazement. He just nodded, grinning back.

"Not for long!" Terrorsaurus recovered and Tommy looked back at him, his grin fading. He and Michael looked at each other and nodded.

"Dino Thunder, power up! Hah!"

"Brachio power!"

"Quetzal power!"

"Big deal!" Terrorsaurus crooned, blasting at the pair but they flew out of the way. They kicked him off the edge of a rock, sending him to lower ground.

"Super dino mode!" Both the green and black rangers went into super dino mode. Michael's SDP looked just like the others' but Tommy had a gold cannon on each of his shoulders and a dino tail attached at the back.

"Whoa, when did they get super dino powers?!" Conner questioned, thoroughly impressed.

"I don't know but they picked a good time to bust them out!" Ethan answered as Michael and Tommy avoided another attack and fought Terrorsaurus off, catching him with several hits before throwing him into the cliff wall.

"Brachio staff! Energy orb, now!" Michael commanded, throwing the attack at Terrorsaurus and destroying him. A crystal flew out from the remains and shattered, releasing five bursts of colour which returned to the rangers' gems.

"Check it out!"

"Hey!"

"Sweet, we got our powers back!" Ethan announced, laughing with the others before they all ran over to Michael and Tommy. Kim launched herself at Tommy, almost pushing him over.

"I'm so glad you're back!" she exclaimed happily, her smile emphasised by the half face mask she was wearing. "Both of you!" She patted Michael on the arm.

All of a sudden, Cassidy and Devin appeared on the scene. The rangers got confused, wondering how on Earth they wandered into the dangerous territory in the first place.

"Looks like there's romance between Green and Pink!" Cassidy commented, speaking straight into the camera. The others were grateful to Kim for bringing up the idea of wearing masks.

"Look, you need to move," Michael told Cassidy as he gently pushed her away from Kim and Tommy.

"You didn't think I'd give up that easily, did you?" Terrorsaurus' voice boomed. Everyone peered up to see that the monster was back in action. Trent grabbed Kira's hand out of instinct, immediately regretting it when Cassidy opened her gob again.

"Oooh and there are Yellow and White. I could always see the chemistry between them!" the reporter chirped excitedly. Kira wondered whether Cassidy was serious or just really desperate for a scoop. She guessed it was the latter.

"Think you three can finish this guy?" Michael looked to Conner, Kira and Ethan, all of whom nodded.

"Totally," Conner replied, bring up his morpher.

"Dino Thunder, power up! Hah!" The three of them morphed and leapt up into their zords, creating their megazord.

However, as they charged Terrorsaurus, they were blasted back.

"If Tommy can win his fight, so can we!" Kira told the others.

"You're right, Kira," Ethan agreed.

"Let's give it everything we've got!" Conner ordered.

"Super dino mode!" They switched modes. "Dino drill, full power!" They launched at Terrorsaurus, easily withstanding his attack and defeating him. "Oh yeah!"

"Okay, let me get this straight. Three of your old ranger powers came to you in a dream?" Ethan questioned as he and the other teens sat in front of Tommy like eager school pupils.

"And you had to fight them to get your life back?" Conner added.

"This is awesome!" Ethan exclaimed.

The rangers started bombarding Tommy with more questions, their words become unintelligible. The young pro-racer laughed and stopped them.

"Guys, I just wanna thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, for hanging in with me through all this," he told them with a smile. Kim patted him on the back, grinning. "It was tough, but you guys came through. It means a lot to me."

"He's right," Hayley spoke up. "You should all be proud of yourselves." Michael and Kim nodded in agreement.

Conner sniffled and the others looked over at him. Trent looked back at Kira who just stared at Conner in shock.

"Are you crying?" Ethan implored teasingly. Kim couldn't help but laugh.

"No!" the red ranger lied quickly. "We're just really glad to have you guys back."

"You're crying! How cute!" Kim cooed, ruffling Conner's hair which made him blush violently. Kira and Trent secretly enjoyed how embarrassed he was, glad that now knew how it felt to be teased in front of everyone. The others laughed, Michael being the loudest, as Conner tried to escape.

A/N: Well, I hope there aren't too many mistakes. My mum seems to believe that I don't even deserve ONE day off studying so I had to write this really quickly.
