A/N: This chapter is a little dirty. Just a little.

sabina21 & brankel1: Thanks.

hewhoreaps: Well I don't believe there's anything left to resolve on the Conner front.
They're deffo fun to write.

Evangella Akriti: Conner will never change.
It's because they were nodding in response to what Kim said; she didn't nod at herself. That's why I said twelve. Thanks for pointing that out though.
And I agree about Marah and Dustin.

Trent smiled at Kira from across the bar. The ninja storm team somehow dragged them to a 'teen' party at some random town in between both Reefside and Blue Bay Harbour. Tori didn't know these people any more than Kira did but she seemed to be enjoying herself.

Hunter, Cam, Kim and Tommy got to go upstairs because they were twenty one/over twenty one. That's where they served alcohol although Trent had a feeling that the teen drinks weren't as non alcoholic as they were made out to be.

He caught Kira's eye, beckoning her over. She smiled somewhat shyly and nodded. As she walked over to Trent, he admired her cute black and lilac party clothes and matching make up. Her purple smoky eye looked very good in particular, awakening his male instincts more than he wanted to admit.

"Hi," she greeted, sitting down.

"Hey," he replied before ordering two drinks.

"Why are you sitting here by yourself?" Kira questioned, looking around.

"Why were you standing there by yourself?" he asked in return, thanking the barman as he handed them their drinks. Before Kira could fish out some money, Trent reached into his pocket and pulled out more than enough money.

"Hey!" Kira exclaimed, putting her hands on her hips. "I could've paid!"

"I know; it's on me," Trent responded, taking a sip of the drink. "I should've told you before, knowing what you're like..."

"What I'm like?!" the purple ranger repeated, crossing her arms and pouting this time.

"Have I ever told you how cute you look when you're angry?" he blurted out, his hand flying to his mouth when he realised what he said. Kira and Trent both flushed furiously as they stole shy glances at each other.

"Yeah," she responded quietly, making him look at her. "When you were controlled by the gem, the same day you joined us." The same day you told me to find someone else. Trent nodded sheepishly, taking a long swig of his drink to calm his nerves. He was being really stupid today. "Sometimes I wish you were still like that."

He looked up at her in shock, almost spilling his drink everywhere. "What?"

"At least you didn't hide anything then," Kira explained, looking at him over the rim of her glass. "You seem to hide so much from me now."

"Like what?" Trent implored hoarsely, gulping discreetly.

"Your feelings for me," she answered boldly, trying not to blush. He, however, did blush; his cheeks went bright red.

"Stop flirting with me, Kira," he requested, looking anywhere but at her. "You don't understand what you're saying."

"You flirted with me first," she pointed out, courageously staring right at him. "And I understand that you kissed me the day you told me your were the white ranger. You didn't have to do that. Why did you?"

"That was... that was a mistake..." he stuttered, his face burning more and more by the second.

"You didn't answer my question," she pointed out, watching him intently. Trent let out a sigh and finally met her eyes.

"Fine, I did have a crush on you," he admitted involuntarily. What was happening to him? Did they spike his drink? No, he had to fix this. "But not anymore. I see you as a friend now."

"Then why do you continue to get my hopes up?" she demanded, slamming her glass down on the counter. The barman gave her an annoyed look but she ignored him. She was determined. "You're always flirting with me!"

"I don't mean for it to come off like that," he replied, putting his hands up. "I'm sorry. But I don't like you like that."

Kira abruptly stood up, swaying a little when she got off the seat. Trent got up and tried to steady her but she pushed him away. He almost fell over himself, his eyes swimming as he looked at her. He saw the tears pooling in her eyes before she turned away from him and ran off.

I'm so stupid. Why do I always end up hurting her?

"Kira! Wait!" Kira heard Trent say as she fled from him. She left the building, ignoring Tori who was also calling after her. Oh well, she'd just tell her later that she was tired and probably didn't hear her.

The purple ranger stood outside, waiting for a taxi. She hugged herself to keep from getting cold, her skimpy party clothes doing nothing to help. She looked up at the dark sky to keep her tears at bay, hoping the cool night air would somehow dry them away.

Moments later, a warm hand grabbed hers from behind. She stopped looking up and turned around to see the white ranger standing there. Kira didn't want to cry but seeing Trent here, so near and yet so far, was pushing her over the edge.

"What do you want?" she questioned coldly, sharply tugging her hand away.

"Where are you going?" he asked, not answering her question. She huffed and stepped closer to the edge of the pavement.

"To the hotel," she replied bitterly, cursing the taxis for going right past her. Tori arranged it so that everyone was going to stay at the nearest hotel and then part ways the next morning. The two of them were sharing a room and Tori had given her the pass to their room, knowing that she'd probably be the last to leave the party.

Trent moved closer to Kira, sticking an arm out and waving it at several far away vehicles. "Yeah, me too." She glared at him in irritation. He was doing it again; pushing her away and then doing the exact opposite. What was she meant to do? He was confusing her all the time with his bipolar behaviour and she was tired of it.

"I can go myself," she spat indignantly just as a taxi finally arrived. She sat in the taxi and said, "One stop to the nearest hotel please."

To her irritation, Trent also jumped in.

"Hey! Get out arsehole!" the taxi driver yelled.

"No, it's okay," the boy responded, smiling at Kira who just looked away. "I'm with her."

"Fine," the taxi driver muttered, starting to drive to the hotel.

"Look, Kira, I don't know why I said what I said," Trent started, silently pleading the girl to look at him. "I'm sorry for hurting your feelings, I'm such a-"

Kira cut him off with a kiss, shocking him into silence. He fell backwards and she pressed him back against the car door, cupping his face and continuing the kiss. Trent finally responded, deepening the kiss as he reached up to grab her waist and pull her body close to his. She suddenly gasped for air before reattaching her lips to his, biting his bottom lip before their tongues met again. She ran her hands through his hair, tugging at it before they were interrupted.

"Excuse me, no sex in the back of the cab!" the taxi driver shouted.

Kira and Trent suddenly jumped away from each other, their hearts racing as they readjusted their clothes and hair. Kira took a deep breath, trying to restore her breathing to a normal level but she needed Trent; her whole body was on fire.

"Finally," Trent breathed in relief when the hotel came into view.

He avoided looking at Kira, trying to remember which room Tori allocated him to. Tori and Kira, Conner and Ethan, Tommy and Kim, the Bradley brothers, Shane and Dustin, Cam's cousins... leaving Trent with Cam himself. Great. He was pretty sure that Cam had the room pass... he'd just have to get a new room. But his stuff was in that room. Was he meant to sleep naked?

Trent soon found that he didn't have to worry about where he was gonna sleep or what he was gonna wear to bed. After Kira quickly paid the taxi driver, they walked into the hotel and silently went to their designated floor before she dragged Trent into her room.

Without warning, Kira pushed Trent up against the wall, pressing her hips deeper into his, wanting to taste him again. She took his lips again and breathed him in, trying to make the short moment last an infinity. His hands slid up her thighs and went somewhere they probably shouldn't have as their tongues danced together.

Trent broke the kiss before he and Kira started undressing each other. They toppled over onto the bed together, making Kira close her eyes and smile. Trent gazed at her and wondered how he came this far, knowing that he'd regret it later.

Mesogog, please don't find out about this.

"See you later, Blake," Tori said, exchanging a kiss with her boyfriend as his brother walked up from behind.

"See ya," Blake replied, before turning around and groaning when he saw how wasted Hunter was.

In an unlikely turn of events, Cam was even worst than Hunter in terms of being drunk. Hunter held Cam up, muttering something that Blake didn't really wanna hear ever again. Tori giggled at her boyfriend's reaction before going to her room.

She frowned when she reached into her pocket and found that the pass to her room wasn't there. Remembering that she gave it to Kira earlier, she sighed in relief and proceeded to knock on the door.

There was no response.

She turned the door handle but it was obviously locked.

"Kira?!" Tori called, waiting a moment before frowning. Her stuff was in there. Now what was she gonna do?

An idea came to her mind, making her smirk. She turned to see Blake and Hunter entering their room and ninja streaked over to it, just about stopping the door.

"Tori?" Blake said, slight confusion in his tone.

"Blake..." she started, putting on an innocent smile. "Kira isn't opening the door."

"Can't you get another pass from the desk?" Blake questioned, throwing his older brother onto the bed.

"I could but... I don't think it's that simple..." she trailed off, grinning mischievously.

"What do you mean?"

"Have you seen the way she looks at Trent?" Blake raised an eyebrow, wondering what that had to do with anything.

"No but I've seen the way he looks at her," he answered, scratching his head. "What has that got to do with-" Tori gave him a look and then it hit him. "Oh..." he trailed off, nodding in understanding.

"Anyway, I think I'm going to have to stay here tonight," she told him, casting a concerned look in Hunter's direction.

Tori's words seemed to sober Hunter up; he immediately jumped off the bed he was lying down on mere moments ago.

"What about me?!" he demanded, a scowl on his face.

"Well... Trent took my place and I'm taking yours..." she pointed out, smiling shyly when she and Blake exchanged glances. "So what do you think?"

"No," Hunter instantly protested in a squeaky voice, terror etching onto his face.

"C'mon, he loves you!" Tori stated as a matter of fact, trying to persuade her boyfriend's brother.

"Not when he's drunk," Hunter countered in a slurry voice, twisting his face into something that looked like a grimace. A drunk grimace.

"Really, Hunter?" Tori asked in disbelief. "He's too wasted to move."

"And soon, you will be too," Blake spoke up, winking at Tori. He looked back at Hunter and did a little brother pout.

Hunter groaned. No matter how drunk he was, that pout got him every time. Damn.

"Fine," he conceded, stumbling when he reached down for his bag.

"You can get that in the morning," Blake said, holding his brother upright.

"No thanks," Hunter responded with a scoff. "God knows what I'll walk in on."

Tori giggled nervously, covering her face to hide her embarrassment. Blake's cheeks went red and he coughed.

"I meant that I was gonna come over and give it to you," he explained awkwardly. "But if that's how you prefer it..."

"Nope," Hunter replied, popping the 'p' as he successfully picked up his bag. "I'm going. Don't make too much noise."

Tori and Blake watched Hunter leave. The navy blue ninja looked at his girlfriend.

"He's too drunk to face Cam but he's got no problem with saying things like that," he muttered incredulously.

Tori laughed and walked towards her boyfriend. "Anyway, let's not prove him wrong..."

A/N: This little 'episode arch' will be very relationship based since we haven't had anything of that sort for a while. Hey, ChillPillBerry, you still reading? Drop a review ;)
