Once again, thank you xxChase the French Patriotxx for helping me back into writing. I owe you one. And we are back with chapter 18!

Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago
Captain Soto's POV
My crew has failed me once again. For the millionth time. THE MILLIONTH TIME. I have been humiliated by them from years on end. We lost our ship to a bunch of pajama men, leaving us with no source of transportation. Now, I'm stuck here with these lily-levered idiots of pirates in jail. We were all put one cell that was luckily big enough to fit all of us, but it was a tight fit. The whole room stank of cigarettes and old shit that has probably been on the floor for years. But I got used to it fairly quickly. You know why? Because that's what my crew smell like. Old piles of shit. Right now, they are working at the lock of the cell. I am surprised at how dumb the cops here are. Yet, I'm not surprised because all of the stinking creatures in Ninjago are dumb. Maybe even dumber than dumb. All except for me. Which is why I'm going to get out of this mess. I just have to figure out how.
Captain Soto
Just as I closed my journal a dagger just barely missed my face and hit the wall. The handle wiggled as it stuck itself in the slimy wall.
"Sorry captain. No-Eyed-Pete missed the lock!" One of my men shouted at me.
"You scurvy dogs!" I yelled back. "I told you not to disturb my writing! And I also told you anyone but No-Eyed Pete could pick the lock!"
As if on cue, the 'sweet' sound of that stupid parrot screeched across the cell.
"Left!" the bird cawed. "No, your other left!"
No-Eyed-Pete attempted to swing at the lock with a hatchet he'd kept. He swung as hard as he could, knocking out a nearby pirate in the process.
Finally, with all his strength, he swung in the right direction. The steel lock shattered to the floor with a loud 'clank'. Captain Soto looked at him with his one wide eye. He then smiled an evil smile.
"Perfect…"
Oh no! They're escaping! What will happen? I told you guys this was short. Pre-writing things on paper makes them shorter but quicker to update. Anyways, hope you like it and review!
