Hi! Chappie 20! The next chapter might not be up tomorrow. I still have to work on it. Anyway, enjoy!

Kennedy waited until midnight when everyone was asleep. She put on her coat and slid her way out the window without making a sound. She earned the name, 'stealth' from her mother because she always crept up behind her without a sound. When she'd turn around, her mother would either make a small shriek or throw an object she was holding into the air.

Anyway, she slipped out the window and landed on the sand. Kennedy took one last look at the bounty to check for lights then ran away from the seashore and into the streets of Ninjago.

As Kennedy neared the museum, there was a sound of shuffling behind her. She stopped and turned around, only to find nothing. Kennedy raised and eye brow perplexed.

"Hello, Kennedy."

Kennedy whirled around, swinging her foot in the direction of Rack's face. He was standing just enough feet away so her foot brushed passed his face. Rack didn't even blink. He just stood there with a smirk plastered on his lips.

"Rack!" Kennedy almost screamed at him. "You scared the mess out of me!" He shrugged his shoulders.

"I like scaring people." He said casually.

"What are you doing out so late?"

"I might ask you the same thing."

Kennedy searched her brain for a good excuse. Rack waited for an answer patiently. The tall vampire boy loomed over her like a tower. Those eyes. Those big glowing red eyes. Kennedy felt smaller than her normal height. Compared to her, Rack was a giant. He beat Lloyd by almost three inches.

Now, Rack was beginning to scare Kennedy. Her legs trembled slightly and she continued to stare into those red eyes that were boring into her soul. Rack finally realized what he was doing and sighed.

"You need to go home, Kennedy." She snapped out of her trance and shook her head.

"I don't want to."

"Kennedy, it's dangerous out her at night."

"Then why are you here?"

"Because I'm a boss like that!"

Kennedy stared at him for a moment then face palmed. Rack pretended to look offended. "I'm not a boss, Kennedy?!"

"No, you're a weirdo!" Kennedy giggled.

He slunk his shoulders. He'd just been called a weirdo by his crush. "But I'm not a-whatever just go home!"

Kennedy stood her ground. "No! I'm not going-!"

Then it happened. Rack swept her off her feet and held her bridal style.

"Hey! Put me…" That smell again. The aroma clung to Rack as if he were a huggable teddy bear. Kennedy immediately shut her mouth. She wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his chest. Rack blushed as he headed in the direction of the bounty.

When Rack approached Kennedy's window, he put her down on the sand. She stood on wobbling legs and stared at him.

"Now stay here. Don't go out where you could get easily snatched up in one second."

"What about you?" Kennedy asked. He grinned at her and put his hands on his hips.

"Remember Kennedy. I'm a boss like that."

She giggled and face palmed again. "A weirdo is what you are."

Rack turned on his heel with a huff and walked down the seashore. "I'll see you later, Kennedy."

"See you later, weirdo!"

"Urrgh!"

Kennedy laughed then climbed into the window of her bedroom. Once she got inside she remembered the diamond. She had almost been busted! Thankfully Rack didn't notice what was in her bag. She sighed in relief. Tomorrow, if she had the chance, she could slip away at day time. The museum would be closed that day. So it would be perfect for her. Kennedy changed into her pajamas and slid under the warm covers of her bed. She was glad to get some rest.

But just as she closed her eyes…

"Where have you been?"
