"No Spence! You're not going with a yellow stripped dress!" Hanna shouted on the other line.

"Well, you're the boss. What colour could suit me well? Today, i picked up pink and yellow before i met Emily."

"What? That's really bad Spence. Did she commented on that?"

"She is the one who noticed it first." Spencer sighed.

"If i'm Emily, i will ditch you right there and rather go to the coffee shop alone." Hanna blurted.

"Thank god that Emily isn't you" Spencer chuckled. "Okay, enough about that. What colour did you prefer for me?"

"Black or red. Well, maybe it's a good idea to activate the video call and let me pick one for you." Hanna suggested.

"I'm not going to do that and the whole people around me will think that i'm crazy because i showing my phone to bunch of clothes." Spencer said while continue searching. "Well, i think i got one. I will try it on and took a picture of it before sending it to you, how is that sound?"

"Not a bad idea. Okay, i'll wait."

Spencer then hang up the phone and bring 3 clothes to the fitting room. She quickly hang up the clothes at the hanger and started to unbuttoned her current clothes and taking it off. She grabbed a leather jacket and black and white stripped shirt and put it on. Once she dressed, she took out her phone and take a picture of herself and the clothes before she took off the clothes and try another one, this time is a red and white long sleeve shirt with a turtle neck, after taking another picture she tried the last one. A blue shirt with white collars and a blue jeans jacket.

When she already done trying the clothes, she quickly sent the picture to Hanna. She just walked out from the fitting room when Hanna call her back. She quickly pressed the answer button.

"Defenitely the first one." Hanna said quickly.

"Well, that's fast Han." Spencer chuckled. "I think i lost my fashion radar since i got to college."

"You should start reading fashion magazine again Spence, the last time i visit you all the books you have only How To Make Yourself Covered With Guts."

"You search a magazine on my medical journal shelf, maybe you should try under my bed." Spencer teased.

"What do you keep in there? Porn magazines? I don't know you're into that Spence." Hanna teased back.

"Hell, no. I only have 3 magazines and all of them is about guts."

"Okay, enough. Just buy that clothes and get your ass back to your apartment."

"Alright, i talk to you later, bye Han." Spencer said while hang up the phone.

"I'll buy these clothes." Spencer said to the clerk while putting the clothes in front of her.

"Well, we usually didn't get customer right after we put that sign on, you're pretty fast." The clerk said to Spencer.

"I'm not the type of shopping girl but i think early 70% sale on the morning is something unusual." Spencer smiled.

The clerk smiled to Spencer while she packed the clothes to a bag.

"60 bucks." The clerk said while handed the bag to Spencer.

"let me guess, if i pay for this normally it will cost 200, am i right?" Spencer said, smirking, her nerd mind is back.

"Yes, it is." The clerk said softly.

Spencer then gave the clerk the money and grabbed the bag, she mumbled a thanks before walked out from the store to get back to her apartment. When she get there, she dumped the bag on her sofa and throwing herself on her bed. She lifted her head to saw the alarm clock next to her bed and set the alarm to 11, as soon as she done setting up the alarm, Spencer's eyes closed peacefully and drift her off to sleep.

4 Hours Later

The sound of the alarm wake Spencer almost immediately. She groaned and rubbed her eyes slowly as she get up from her bed and turn off the alarm. Spencer checked the time and she still have 1 hour until she goes lunch with Emily. She decided to grabs some medical journal from her bookshelf. She usually read those only when she is free or really feel bored, she still kept some history and calculus books in case she wants to read them.

After reading for a while she grabbed her towel and take another shower to make herself more clean. When she is done, she quickly wrapped herself in a towel and grabbed the clothes that she bought earlier and put it on right away. She stepped in front of her mirror to check it out and fix her hair.

"Well this is not to bad." Spencer mumbled.

She checked out the time and it's still 15 minutes left before she goes. Somehow she want the clock faster than it should be, she quickly grabbed her phone and dialled someone's number on it.

"Hi, Em"

"Oh, Spence? We're still on lunch, right?" Emily said slowly, trying to hide her excitement.

"Oh, yeah. Of course, i think i just walked to that place first and we meet there, how is it sounds?" She asked.

"Err, i was thinking that maybe i could pick you up instead. I drop off my partner at the hospital and i could go and pick you up." Emily suggested.

"Is he mind? I'm fine by walking."

"Not at all. I'm going to the hospital too anyway, so maybe i could drive us both there. Besides, he is on diet today, so he doesn't do lunch." Emily said while chuckling at her partner.

"Well said officer!" He shouted.

Emily could hear Spencer's laughter on the other line. "Okay then, i think i'll see you soon?"

"Yup, just wait up okay? Bye" Emily said softly.

"Okay, bye." Emily hanged up and stared at her partner who is smirking at her.

"What?" She ask, confused.

"I can tell you're excited, why are you hiding it?" He asked, still smirking.

"Please don't start your creepiness with me now detective. I'm not in the mood." Emily said while grabbing some clothes from her bag.

"Okay, i'll keep my mouth shut. Just change your clothes already and i'll wait outside." He said as he walked out from Emily's room.

Emily rolled her eyes and quickly take off her current shirt and put on her favourite green leather jacket with black sleeves, put on her black shoes and tied up her hair to a ponytail. After she done finishing her make up, she grabbed her badge and wallet before get out from the room to the hotel's parking lot.

By there, Anthony already on the car sipping on his coffee while waiting Emily to show up seconds later.

"Okay, Lover girl, ready for your date?" Anthony teased.

"You promised me you won't speak." Emily rolled her eyes.

"I was joking. Okay, you look nice anyway, i'm sure she will like it."

"Thanks, detective." Emily smiled.

Anthony smirked and then he started the engine and drove away from the parking lot. About 5 minutes later, they found themselves already in front of the hospital and Anthony already being dropped off by Emily and now she is on the way to Spencer's apartment. Spencer said that she could meet her at a hot dog stand near her apartment because it's not too far from the hospital and Spencer already walked there. Emily quickly spotted Spencer by the street and she was bringing her scrub and some of medical stuff on her left hand.

She waved at Emily and Emily quickly pulled of at the roadside. Spencer then get in to the passenger seat.

"Hey, thanks for the ride." Spencer said as she get in to the car.

"No problem at all, so can you tell me which one is the quickest way to drove to the restaurant? I'm already starving."

"So do i, just turn around and then turn right on the intersection." Spencer said while pointing to

"Got it." Emily said while she drove off the car and follow the route that Spencer gave.

"You look nice Em, is that the jacket that you're wearing while we were on the lodge back in high school?" Spencer asked while examining Emily's clothes.

"Yes, you still remember it? It's a long time ago."Emily surprised.

"Somehow i still remember it."

"Are those clothes new?" Emily asked while paying attention to Spencer's clothes.

"Err, no. Why do you ask?" Spencer said trying to hid her dismay.

"Because i think i never saw those clothes on your wardrobe and if my nose is still healthy, it does smell like a store." Emily said slowly.

Spencer chuckled in awkwardness and she gently rubbed her hair. "Maybe you just saw it already, i bought this clothes like a week ago." Spencer lied.

"Oh, okay." Emily smiled to Spencer as she turn right on the road.

Spencer discreetly stared at Emily and when she noticed that Emily going to stare back at her, she throw away her gaze to the road.

"So, i think i just catch your gaze on me, Spence." Emily smirked.

"Sorry, it's just. I haven't seen you in a while and i think there are some difference on you." Spencer said nervously.

"Difference? Like what?" Emily asked.

"Well, you more like Officer Holbrook." Spencer chuckled.

"Really? Such as?"

"More serious? Braver? And smarter?" Spencer smirked.

"Serious? I think yes, Braver? I should be brave, i can't be a policeman if i'm scared, right? Smarter? Nope, you are still the smart one." Emily smiled sweetly to Spencer.

Spencer gulped slowly and then she chuckled awkwardly. "Well, at least you ended up in a better place."

"Better place? What do you mean? Are you ended up in a bad place?" Emily asked, confused with Spencer's statement.

"No, it's nothing." Spencer said nervously. "Look, here we are." Spencer said while they arrived at the restaurant.

"Okay." Emily said while she pulled off to the parking lot.

After Emily parked the car, Spencer and Emily then get inside the restaurant, they chose a table near the counter by the window.

"Let me take the order, what do you want?" Spencer asked.

"Some fries will be good and a salad." Emily said, while smiling to Spencer.

"You vegetarian now? You sure didn't want burger?" Spencer asked half teasing Emily.

"No, i just not in the mood to eat something with meat, so save the burger for your stomach Spence." Emily winked.

Spencer loves that, Emily really got her nerves up this noon. Trying to hide her nerves, she chuckled and then order the food on the counter. On Spencer's mind, there are many question that she had to ask Emily, including why did she kiss her yesterday. Is it just an impulse? Or Emily did it on purpose?. Spencer's imagination is interrupted by the clerk who was waving his hand on Spencer's face.

"Uh- Yes?" Spencer shuttered.

"Your order already done miss." The clerk said while handing the tray to Spencer.

"Thanks. How much?"

"50 bucks"

"Okay, here it is." Spencer handed the money to the clerk and she got the invoice before get back to her table.

"How much?" Emily asked as soon as Spencer arrived at their table and put the salad in front of Emily.

"You don't have to pay, it's on me. You give me a ride anyway." Spencer said while starting to eat her burger.

"You don't have to be like that Spence. So 50, huh?" Emily said while pepping at the invoice.

"You don't have to pay on it Em."

"Just go half, please?" Emily said while taking out her wallet.

"It's okay. No need to." Spencer refused, indirectly touching Emily's hand gently.

Emily felt an electric shock running through her body by the time Spencer touch her. Her jaw slightly open and her eyes stared at Spencer deeply.

"Em?" Spencer's voice starting to worry.

"Uh, Y-yeah?" Emily shuttered.

"You okay? You seem like you just saw a ghost." Spencer said worriedly as she seated herself on her chair.

"Yeah, i'm fine." Emily said, forcing a smile.

"No, you got something to tell me, and you owe me an explanation." Spencer stated.

"Umm, what explanation?" Emily asked confusingly while putting some salad into her mouth.

"About our kiss yesterday." Spencer said slowly.

Hearing this, Emily choked on her salad and quickly grabbed a bottle of water near her.

"Oh, shit. You okay, Em?" Spencer asked worriedly.

Emily took half of the water bottle before finally she could calmly catch her breath. "Err- about that uh, i-i think it's because uh i don't know how to say it." Emily said nervously, she occasionally tapped her feet.

"Just say it already, i won't judge." Spencer said reassuringly while began eating her burger.

Emily felt a sudden panic attack all over her body. She knows that soon or later Spencer going to ask this, but she never expected that she would explain it now. With a deep breath she open up her mouth to speak.

"I miss you Spence." Emily said slowly.

Spencer's gulped slowly, as she trying to calm herself. Emily stared at Spencer in a full of fear that she would freak out somehow, but all of the fear whatever it's on Emily's mind disappeared as Spencer's lips curled up into a sweetest smile she's ever seen.

Spencer stared at Emily deeply while trying to swallow the burger down her throat without choking. Emily grabbed one of her fries and ate them slowly. Spencer then chuckled after she finished swallowing her food.

"Relax, i know that already." Spencer said sweetly. "Just for you to know, i never take off this necklace that you gave to me since that day and i guess you do too. Since i could saw it hiding behind your jacket." Spencer said while took out her necklace and stroke it slowly.

Emily smiled shyly. "You don't mad at me? I mean, i never call you in a few months and then i came out of nowhere and said that i miss you."

"Em, listen to me. I would never mad at you, i know you for years. We survived A together, we've been on the same thing all the time, so, i guess, why would i mad at you?" Spencer said slowly as she continue to ate her burger.

"Thanks Spence" Emily said shyly.

"So, you didn't try to date other people?" Emily's question flying out of nowhere and hit Spencer on the head.

Spencer swallowed her food hard when she heard that question and trying to push it with a little of water before she pay her attention back to Emily.

"No." She answered flatly.

"Why?" Emily asked.

Spencer silent for a second, she hadn't told Emily about what her mom's said back in high school before the party, she really wanted to tell Emily that, but she thought that maybe Emily wouldn't believe it.

"I guess, i haven't interested in anyone lately." She lied. "Why wouldn't you dating other people too?" Spencer asked back after the silence.

"Me? Who should i date? People back in academy all of them are straight even the girls." Emily said sarcastically.

"Oh." Spencer stated.

"Great, she didn't date other people because they are straight and not because she is waiting in you" Spencer said to herself.

Emily noticed a slight Of change on Spencer's mood. "You okay Spence?"

"I'm fine. I just can't believe that we met again." Spencer said, half-lied. Part of her glad that she finally meeting back with Emily again but she somehow still feel there is something keeping her from Emily to be together.

"Yeah, me too." Emily smiled. While continue to ate her salad, Emily secretly keep her eyes locked on Spencer's necklace that hanging between the button on her shirt. That necklace didn't change a bit. In her sight, there isn't any rusty and scratch on it. That's meant that Spencer really keep it carefully. Emily knew there is something on Spencer's mind that she couldn't read.

"God, i wish i could have a mind reading power like Anthony" Emily stated to herself.

Truthfully, Emily missed Spencer so much since the day they were apart. Calling her every weekend doesn't even enough to satisfy her needs in love, and that feels grow bigger and bigger every time she spoke to Spencer, that is the reason why Emily didn't call Spencer and her friends few months after she graduate. She kept herself busy with jobs in hope that she would forget her feeling to Spencer.

But when she bumped to Spencer on the other day, her feelings back just in a second after she saw that gorgeous face again and her heart also shocked when she saw her head was bleeding.

Emily did lied about what she didn't date other people on the academy. Honestly, there were plenty of girls interested on her, but she refused them gently. On her mind there is only one Spencer and there is no way she would forget her in any ways.

Emily and Spencer both lied about their feeling to each other for some reason that themselves can't understand completely. Emily felt that Spencer kept something from her and so did Spencer.

Both girls eat in silence until they finished their lunch and get ready to leave for their activities.

"Thanks for the lunch, Spence. Maybe i should really buy you later." Emily said, smiling.

"Nah, no sense. I'd love hanging out with you. So, my shift starts in 10 minutes, i think we should leave now." Spencer said while grabbing her jacket from her chair.

"Yeah, let's go." Emily said before get out from the restaurant and walked towards the car.

Spencer followed from behind in furious as she watched Emily's odd behaviour that changed during their lunch. "What did i do wrong?" Spencer mumbled slowly before getting into the car.

Emily took a quick glance at Spencer and smiled at her before turn on the car and drive away from the restaurant. It just took 5 minutes to get back to the hospital where Emily parked the car on the hospital parking lot before she and Spencer leave the car and get into the hospital.

"Right on time." Spencer said while smirked.

"Is it always this busy?" Emily said while she staring at the busy ER.

"Yeah." Spencer answered quickly.

"Hastings!" A familiar blonde running towards Spencer's direction in a hurry.

"Yes?" Spencer said, taking a step to get closer to the blonde.

"Surgery for you on the OR 3, get in there quickly!" The blonde doctor blurted.

"I just get here." Spencer said in confusion.

"No time for argue. Quick, get your ass there!" The doctor said and then running to other direction not wanting Spencer's response.

"Okay, my busy day starts now. Is it okay if i leave you now?" Spencer asked Emily while she was half backward jogging.

"Yup, just go. I'll go to Anthony." Emily smiled.

"Okay, see ya later!" Spencer said as she quickly run to the intern's room to get changed.

Emily's smile dropped as soon as Spencer left her. She sighed and let her feet dragged her to the room where her partner is.

"I could see your pout from the ER door after she left you, Officer." Anthony said as soon as Emily get into James' room.

"You saw that?" Emily said, shocked with the statement.

"Kind of." He smirked.

"Forget it, how is he?" Emily walked to the patient.

"The nurse said he would wake up soon, don't worry about it."

"Okay." Emily said as she si down on one of the chairs.

"Something bother you?" The detective asked.

"Can i borrow your power please?" Emily blurted.

"What power?" He asked, confused with Emily's question.

"Your reading mind abilities?" Emily said arbitrarily.

"You'll get it after 5 or 10 years being a police , kid. Be patient." He smirked.

"I need that now." Emily said firmly.

"Hold on a sec here. What's going on kiddo?" He asked.

Emily sighed in frustation. "I just need to read Spencer's mind." She said suddenly.

Much to the calm of Anthony, he smirked. "Want me to read it for you?" He asked playfully.

"No, nope, thanks." Emily declined. She then sighed again in such of big frustation.

"What's up kiddo?" The detective asked while he walked closer to Emily.

"I think she kept something from me..."
