Hello you guys! I'm back with your favorite story. Sorry to keep you waiting. It took a while to figure this chapter out but it's finally done. Enough of my rambling! Let's get on with the story shall we?

Rack heard a high pitched scream. He quickly morphed back into his human form with a look of realization on his face. He had completely forgotten all about Kennedy. He ran in the direction of the scream forgetting out his orange hoodie and the blonde haired boy. The night was still young and the full moon still shown down on the earth. Rack had just enough speed and strength to save Kennedy from what situation she had gotten herself into. He had dreamed of the day he will be her hero and that they will share a long passionate kiss together. That day has finally come. Rack will be her hero.

Lloyd's POV

I stood there, petrified at the sight before me. This guy's a…a…some kind of monster! I don't know what type of monster, but I know it's the type that eats up little boys and girls! I couldn't move a muscle. Not even an eyelash…this is it. This is my doom. I'll never see the light of day again. What's worse is that I'll never see Kennedy again…

Just as the creature in front of me laughed, I heard a scream. It was a loud scream that could be heard from two miles away. No one's scream is as loud enough to drown out any other noise but my girlfriend's. Oh god, Kennedys in trouble! The creature changed back into the teenage boy I hate so much. He must've heard it too. The guy took off in the direction of the scream with incredible speed. I stood there dumbfounded. I mentally smacked myself back into reality and chased after him. It was impossible to catch up to him. It was like chasing Sonic the Hedgehog. Except the Sonic I'm running after now is a disgusting beast disguised as a teenage boy. Wow, this guy is fast! I'd anything to have speed like that. That would be cool…why am I chasing him again? Oh, because of Kennedy. My god, how could I forget about her in a situation like this?!

Right after I finished scolding myself, I collided with something hard and fell backwards. Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground A/N: Get it? Lloyd knew Rack was trouble the first time he saw him and now he's lying on the ground…you know, from the song? …Nevermind. and staring up at the monster boy's tattooed back. He seemed to be staring at something. I got up and dusted myself off. I walked to his side and followed his gaze. We had reached Ninjago's coastal line. This is where the fishermen catch the fish and sell them to the local markets. I scan the area for any signs of Kennedy. My eyes had finally locked on a large fishing ship. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Several men were aboard the ship, one of them wear a hat with a skull and crossed bones on it, a pegged leg, and a golden hook on his left arm. Kennedy was being held in a head-lot in by the arm that bore the hook. It was Captain Soto and his crew. The pirates escaped from jail!

I growled. "So those smelly bastards think they can take my girl hostage, huh? Well they've got another thing coming!" I thought as I sprinted toward the hijacked ship. Then something caught my eye. In Soto's free hand he held an object. It was shiny and it glowed blue in the moon light. It was the diamond from the museum! So they were the one who stole it. Those thieves!

A red blur zoomed passed me and onto the boat. The monster boy ran up to Captain Soto and roundhouse kicked him in the face. He fell to his side and dropped both Kennedy and the diamond.

"Kennedy, run!" Kennedy grabbed the diamond and ran for her life off the ship and down towards the other side of the beach. Why did it have to be him that saved her and not me? I stood there for probably the third time at a loss for what to do. I looked back at the tattooed boy beating the crap out of the pirates. Jeez, that guy's a bad-ass! I sighed and continued making my way towards the ship. Well you know what they say, if you can't beat them, join them.

Together we fought off the pirates that came at us. Using my spinjitzu I took out a bunch of them. And other…doing whatever he does, took out another bunch. But he beat them in the bloodiest ways. He punched them until they coughed up blood, bit them, clawed at them. He even caused one of them to lose an eye. Gross…

I have to admit, these guys had gotten a lot stronger sense the last time we fought them. Every time we took one out, they'd get right back up. It's beginning to be a pain in the neck. They just keep coming and coming! After I punched the lights out of one with two eye patches, I put my hands on my knees and started to pant. This is tiring. I looked over to the red-head guy. Even he looked a bit tired. His movements are slower since the beginning of the fight. I straightened back up and continued fighting. The pirates were starting to close in on us now. The monster boy and I were now back-to-back, fighting for our lives. I really hope Kennedy got away safely. I wouldn't want her to get caught up in anything like this again.

Normal POV

It was then that help came to the rescue. The ninja jumped onto the ship and started fighting off the pirates one by one. Lloyd sighed in relief and fought alongside them, including Rack. Now that the team has increased, they became stronger and the rest of the pirates began to back down. Captain Soto cried out in fear, "Retreat!" The pirate crew ran off the boat like scaredy-cats. But before they could escape a bunch of police cars blocked their path. "No you don't!" A man, who looked to be the sheriff, got out of his car and walked up to Soto. "The only place you're retreating back to is your cell." The sheriff hand cuffed him and shoved him in the back seat. The rest of the police officers did the same with the others.

Kai walked up to Lloyd and ruffled his hair. "Kid, you really need to stop getting yourself into trouble." Lloyd swatted his hand away like a cap smacking a dog. "Shut up! I'm only out here because of Kennedy."

"So that's where you two were." Kai crossed his arms with an amused expression on his face. "Running off on a secret date."

Lloyd blushed and looked down at the ground, kicking the sand. "Well, not exactly. See, what happened was Kennedy agreed to go on a date with her friend she was talking about all the time. I got suspicious and decided to follow them to make sure he didn't try to pull anything on her. But he did and asked her to be his girlfriend."

Kai widened his eyes. "Really?" Lloyd nodded. But before he could tell him about what happened between him and Rack, Kai interrupted. "Where is Pinkie anyway?"

"I'm right here…"

They both turned their heads in the direction of Kennedy, who looked like she had seen a ghost. Lloyd ran up to her and held her tightly.

"Kennedy! I was worried sick! Are you ok? Did they hurt you anywhere?" Before he could ask her anymore questions she quickly moved away from Lloyd. "I'm fine, Lloyd." He frowned and looked down to the ground. "Sorry."

"You're right to be sorry." It was then that Rack had showed up out of nowhere. He put his bare tattooed arm around Kennedy's shoulder and held her close. "Hurting my little pink rose's heart. You should be ashamed of yourself Lloyd Garmadon."

Kennedy shook his arm off and glared at him. "I'm not your…" She trailed off as her eyes wandered down to Rack's bare torso, staring at the tattooed dragon and other marks on his chest. She blushed for a moment then snapped out of her trance.

"I'm not your pink rose." Rack stared at her with a hurt expression in his red eyes and moved closer to her.

"What are you talking about, Kennedy? You are my pink rose. You agreed to become my girlfriend remember?" "I know, Rack. But it was a mistake. I didn't mean to say yes. It's just…I can't stand seeing sad faces. It's beginning to become a problem. I'm sorry, but I can't be with you."

Rack was crushed. His mouth hung open trying to find something to say but he was speechless. His body language turned from battle- ready to a dumbfounded scrawny. Even his tattoos didn't look scary anymore. He just stood there looking like a hot mess.

Silence was all that was in the air until Lloyd shouted a happy cry. He did a little happy dance before squeezing the life out of Kennedy. "Yes! In your face, monster kid!" He was yelling in Rack's face sounding like a crazy old man who had just won the lottery.

Rack's eyes turned to slits. His body language went back to normal as he growled like a dog at Lloyd. While he was busy dancing, he pounced on him. The two boys were back to fighting over Kennedy with her staring at them with an annoyed expression. She stepped in between the two of them and popped them both on the head.

"Ow!" They both cried as they held their heads. "Stop it! Both of you! You're giving me a headache!"

Rack looked down at her small form. She had a serious look on her face. He thought it was cute. "Please Kennedy. Leave this idiot to die in shame…be with me and you'll be living in a fairy tale. Don't let him steal away your happiness."

Kennedy glared at Rack. "That idiot stole away my heart Rack! So what if he steals my happiness? It doesn't matter because he is the only one who can make me the happiest girl in the world. Don't try to force yourself upon me. You don't have the same effect that Lloyd does on me. Just face the fact that a relationship between you and I won't exactly go as planned."

Once again, Rack was crushed. He sighed and looked down at the ground, his shoulders slumping.

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, Rack. But it's just the way it has to be. But I still like you. Just not in the same way as Lloyd. We can still be good buddies if that's good enough for you?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Lloyd yelled as he stepped towards Kennedy. "You can't be friend with him! Just look take a look at him!" He gestured towards Rack's tattooed body. She blushed yet again she stared at him. "Do you have any idea what I had to go through to get to you, Kennedy? Do you have any idea WHAT HE IS?!"

Kennedy stared back at him with an expressionless face. "Yes…I do."

Lloyd raised his eyebrows. "You do?" She nodded slowly. "But how? How did you know?"

Kennedy reached into her satchel and pulled out a worn out book. "It was written in his journal he gave me." Lloyd took the book and looked it over. "Quite an interesting life he has. He wrote about his studies, magic, his father and mother…" Lloyd listened on while thumbing through the pages. "I realized how terribly miserable he was and how much he wanted a friend. I can't just leave him to rot in depression."

Lloyd had nothing to say. He looked at Kennedy with sad green irises. He was starting to regret what he said about the boy who lived a lonely paranormal life. But he still had his suspicions. Lloyd had to make sure Rack kept a respectful distance away from Kennedy. If she and he were going to be friends, he'd have to make sure it stayed that way.

As uncomfortable silence floated around in the air, the sun started to peak out over the ocean, filling the sky up with orange rays of light. Kennedy snapped out of her silence and looked around. "Where's Rack?"

Lloyd raised a brow as he looked behind him. Rack was not there. He looked back at her and shrugged. "He was here a second ago."

Kennedy looked up over Lloyd's head and widened her eyes as she stared at the sky. He followed her gaze and he too widened his eyes.

A single bat was flying above the beach. It took one look at them with sad blood red eyes then disappeared into the trees.

Finally done! I feel great! I feel incredible! I feel a whole lot of things now that I've finished it. Dude, I was lacking so much motivation and inspiration the past couple of weeks. But I knew I had to get this done before school started back up again so I finished the final draft! Yay! And don't worry you guys. This won't be that last we see of Rack so calm your booties down! Also, there may be a new OC character introduced in the story. I don't know when but I'll try to squeeze her in somewhere I think will be perfect! The character doesn't belong to me. It belongs to Tamara52. She is a good friend of mine who is so nice to me and has helped me out a lot with a few ideas. And what better way to return the favor than plopping her OC into the story! So shout out to Tamara52, I love her to death, go follow and favorite her, and…NINJAAAAAAGOOOOO!
