All I can say about why I've been gone for so long is that I've had major writer's block. From now on I'm going to try and update a little bit sooner. It's the least I can do to make you guys happy again. Now let's pick up where we left off, shall we?
Lloyd went of the events that happened a few weeks ago in his head. The vampire kid asked his girlfriend out on a date. He tried to follow them but ended up witnessing what the kid has been hiding. Both of them heard Kennedy scream followed it.
Then they were ambushed by Captain Soto and his pirate crew.
Together, Lloyd and the monster boy fought off the pirate with the help of Ninjago's heroes. Being victorious, they retrieved the missing diamond dragged the criminals back to jail.
After that, Kennedy spilled the beans.
She told them that she knew what Rack's backstory held. Lloyd didn't want to, but he understood.
Rack wasn't seen sense after that…
Honestly, Lloyd felt bad for the young vampire. But not very VERY bad. Not bad enough to trust everything he does. He needed to keep his guard up. For all he knew, vampires are tricky creatures. Something told him that if Rack and Kennedy are going to be friends, there are going to be times when things are taken too far.
Kennedy's POV
I sat on my bed and thought about the events that took place on my birthday. Well that was the wildest birthday ever…Well at least the diamond is back in the museum and I don't have to explain to everyone why I had it. The pirates are back in custody. And Lloyd and I are back on good terms. But Rack…
I'm not sure about how I should feel about him now. I mean, I know him and I were good friend and all but when it comes to Lloyd and Rack fighting over me…
I can't stand to see sad faces. They make feel selfish and rude towards others. And that face Rack made then…
There was a light knock on my window. I knew who it was. I got up and walked over to pull back the curtains. Rack's face appeared in front of me. He looked…different. His face no longer had that smug smirk plastered on his lips. Instead all that was there was a long frown. His red hair was a mess and he had deep dark circular bags under his droopy eyes. He looked much older…
He looked tired…
"Can I come in?" He asked me. His voice was shaking a bit. Hesitating, I nodded and opened the window. I then stepped out of the way to let him jump through. He didn't move. "What's wrong?" I asked him, puzzled. "You have to say it," he said. "…That I can come in."
"Why can't you just jump right through?" I asked him. "Is something in your way?" A look of uneasiness flashed upon his face. He hesitated for a moment then stepped over the frame. His feet were bare. Rack hoisted himself into the room. He then slowly stalked to the middle of the floor and at me. I raised a brow as I looked back at him. He then hung his head slowly towards the floor. I didn't notice it at first but I saw it.
Rack was…twitching.
They were small but then they became noticeable. As this went on, I suddenly saw a small trail of blood trickle down Rack's bowed head. Then more blood followed after. I watched in horror as blood oozed from every part of his body. It came from his head, mouth, arms, legs, and possible from his eyeballs and fingernails. There was SO much of it. It created a big red puddle on my rug. I was terrified. Rack looked up slowly. Our eyes met. I couldn't see his irises.
After what seemed like forever, I couldn't take it anymore. I quickly ran up to him then grabbed his shoulders and shook him. "Stop, stop! You can come in! You can come in…" I yelled at him to stop the whole thing. He his eyes rolled back to normal and the bleeding and the twitching slowed to a stop. He panted lightly as he looked at me, his eyes full of sorrow. The sad face again…I hugged him. The blood soaked through my close but I didn't care. I was just glad it was over.
"…W-what was that?" My voice shook. Rack sighed and shrugged his bloodied shoulders. "I don't know…" he said. His voice was hoarse. "All I know is that this will happen to me if I enter a home without being invited in properly."
I ran over his words in my head, thinking about what would've happened if it continued. "What've happened if I hadn't said anything? Would you have died?"
There was silence until Rack finally answered with another shrug.
"…I don't know…"
There was a knock at my door and in came Nya as cheerful as ever. "Kennedy, dinner's ready…OH. MY. LORD." She looked at Rack and I and then to the blood soaked rug. "What happened in here?!" She ran and pulled him off of me. "Kid, are you ok?" She asked Rack. "You're covered in blood!"
"I'm alright." He said. "I just need a shower…"
And there you have it! RACK'S BACK! Hey, that rhymed XD. So again, I'm really sorry for the long wait and I know I am long over-due for another birthday chapter, but you know how it is with writer's block. As I said before, I'll try to update a little more. But yeah, leave some feedback in the reviews and check out my profile if you want. Oh, and I also have a new Tumblr account. I've just created it yesterday so there's nothing yet. But I planned to post some of my art work there and maybe post some stories! I am known as Kenni-chan there, so feel free to peep it out if you want. Have a good life my people! And until then…
NINJAAAAAAAGOOOOOOO!
