"Spencer!"

The person in demand turned and smiled "Hi Jack."

"Hey, how have you been? It's going okay back at Rosewood?" The intern asked.

"Yeah, fine. How's board exam? You got your results yet?" Spencer asked.

The intern smiled. "Yeah, I passed. How about you?"

Spencer grinned. "Are you gonna ask me that?"

Jack rolled his eyes. "Duh, of course you nailed it. Silly of me to ask."

Spencer laughed. "Well, where are you planning to take residency?"

"Hmm, probably here if they still have any spots left. You?"

Spencer sighed. "I don't know, I want to go back to Rosewood, but Philly has a really nice program."

Jack folded his arms. "Well, after what happened, you still want to go back to Philly?"

"I don't know, maybe I'll ask someone which one is better."

Jack smirked and patted Spencer's shoulder "Well, I hope you can figure it out soon. I gotta go, need something to do."

Spencer smiled then walked to the locker room to change. She cleaned herself in the shower and grabbed some fresh clothes and her bag. When she was about to go, her phone buzzed. She took it out and smiled. "Hey Sherlock."

"Stop calling me that Octavius." The other person grumbled.

Spencer laughed. "Okay, well?"

"I'm available for Harrisburg in the next 3 days. I think I can get someone to drive me there."

Spencer smiled. "That's great. How's your injury? Feeling better?"

Even though Spencer wouldn't see it, the other person rolled their eyes. "Duh, why are you worrying so much? I'm fine. I can walk and only got dizzy if I glared at my computer for too long but other than that it's fine."

Spencer smirked. "I know you are fine, Em but can't I be the worried girlfriend? I mean it's been 3 Months and you still getting tired easily."

"It takes time. You all of people should know that! I mean you are the doctor in this relationship!"

Spencer grinned. "Oh, you still there is a relationship, Fields? When we didn't see each other in person for almost 2 months?"

Emily sighed. "Yeah, I knew, I'm sorry. I promise you I'll try to accelerate this healing program thing faster."

"Well, I think I can scold you later when we meet." Spencer teased.

"Alright, Hastings, quit it." Emily quipped.

"Okay, okay. By the way, how is Rosewood PD?"

"Great, everyone's here very much friendlier than when we were high school. So, I've been enjoying a lot here."

"Good, good. Does Anthony still call you?" Spencer asked.

"Well, not as frequently as before but he still calls sometimes."

"Good."

Spencer arrived to her apartment while still talked to Emily. Until she remembered that she needed to ask her about residency.

"Hey Em, can I ask you something?" Spencer asked suddenly.

"Yeah, sure. What's up?"

"I passed my board test and—"

"Really? That's great! We should celebrate! Like –" Emily said excitedly.

"Em, whoa slow down. I haven't finished telling you everything." Spencer rolled her eyes.

Emily giggled. "I'm sorry, it's just this pain meds still kicking my mind so…"

"Yeah, I know that. So, anyway. I got offered a really nice program in Philly but I want to go to Rosewood, to be able near you."

Emily was silent for a minute. "I guess you didn't really sure about it."

"Yeah, I want to able to be close to you and mom but well… you know…. Rosewood."

Emily was silent again and sighed. "Maybe we should postpone this conversation till I get there."

"Yeah, I'm sorry, it's just they expect an answer soon." Spencer sat down on her couch and turned on her TV.

"Look, we'll figure it out soon, okay?" As Spencer was about to answer, she heard another sound that coming from Emily's phone. She figured it was her mom telling her that dinner's ready.

"Well, um my mom already asked me for dinner. I guess we should cut this conversation short." Emily sighed.

"It's fine. I'll just read some medical journal or sleeping. We'll see each other on 3 days, right?"

Emily nodded "Yes and Spence?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you."

Spencer smiled. "I love you too Em. Talk to you later."

"Okay, bye."

After Emily hung up, Spencer literally threw her phone to her bed and changed to her pajamas before she planted her face down on the mattress. It's finally resting time for her since 9 months ago when Emily was shot. It's a really long recovery for her girlfriend. After Emily woke up, it took her 2 months to get up fully and 3 months physical recovery. After that, she went back to work only to be honorably discharged until she recover from her temporary blindness which suddenly appeared just a week after she got the clearance from her doctor. Spencer visited almost every week to make sure she was okay. Until Emily's mom finally took matter on her hands and decided that Emily needs to be home. Emily finally got transferred to Rosewood but still on desk duty because her sight still not 100% and she can barely run without tripping or go to the wrong direction.

Well, Spencer being the good girlfriend obviously chose to be with her while she has job. It took her 3 threatening messages to withhold sex from Emily and a warning glare from her mother to finally realize she had to go back to her job to avoid being fired. Well, since her internship almost over until the board exams are over, she never spoke to anyone per Emily's request so she can concentrate.

Next morning, Emily was cooking in her kitchen when she heard someone cleared their throat from behind and turned her head to look at them.

"Umm, what is that you're holding?"

"A knife?" Emily said confused.

"And what do you think you are doing?"

"I'm cooking breakfast?" Again Emily was left confused.

"No, no, no. you have to rest."

Emily frowned. "Jade, I'm fine. I can cut this meat just fine, see?"

Jade moved and grabbed the knife and threw it to the sink. "Nope, I knew you think you are fine but your vision is not 100% so I need you to go back sit on the sofa and let me handle this."

Emily rolled her eyes. "My eyes are fine. I can see you clearly."

Jane held up 2 fingers up but kept her ring finger half up. "How many is this?"

Emily frowned. "3."

Jade narrowed her eyes at Emily. "It's 2 Emily. Now you go sit back and not allowed in the kitchen until you can count my fingers accurately."

Emily fake pouted and walked back to the living room, tripping on a table in the process while Jade laughed from behind. Emily pouted while sat on the sofa. Yes, her vision is still blurry sometimes but she is fine most of the time. But of course, Jade got the protective side from her mom who practically grounded her since she convinced her to go back home.

While she perfectly rested on the couch, her phone rang loudly beside her. She quickly picked it up but can't see the caller ID. "Hello?"

"Officer Fields?"

"Detective Anthony?"

The man on the other line chuckled. "Yeah, it's me. How have you been?"

"I'm fine, still got blurry vision but most of all, fine. How about you?"

He grumbled. "Peachy. There is this case that seems so complicated because my new partner is an idiot."

"Ouch." Emily cringed.

"Well, he is, but anyway I called because I want to ask you a favor." He said softly.

Emily frowned, Anthony barely called but this is of course a surprise for her. "What favor?"

"I've been looking for an old file of a murder last year to evaluate it but I kinda found something really vague that involved a certain someone in the Rosewood PD-"

Emily raised her eyebrow. "Are you allowed to tell me this?"

"Technically? No, but you are the best partner I ever had even for only one case and I trust your judgement. I need you to look at these files. I'll send the copy to you via post. If my suspicions were correct, there is an illegal drug trafficking that been going on sometime." Anthony explained.

"What?!" Emily eyes widened. "You sure about that? How come?"

"I can't tell you over phone. You need to look at those files I sent you, okay? Probably it will arrive sometimes around tomorrow."

"Okay. I'll tell you if I can find out anything."

Anthony sighed. "Thank you. This is an independent case, if I have more proof I can bring this to the chief."

"Are you going to include me?" Emily asked.

"Of course, if that's what you want."

"We'll see the situation first. But thanks for calling me."

"Yeah, thank you so much Emily. I hope to hear from you soon."
