The rest of the drive was spent in silence. When they arrived at the windmill, Nancy began unloading the equipment quickly so he wouldn't have to ask her to. She was struggling with a particularly stuck camera case when she felt a presence behind her. Straightening, she turned and jumped at exactly how close he was to her.
Scott was frowning as usual when he spoke, "I was wrong to scold you like that. I know you're doing your best."
Nancy just stared, surprised he was apologizing again. And to think Debbie said he would never say he was wrong.
