A/N: It has been a fair while since I last update this story and I apologize for that, didn't mean to leave it this long.

I'm not sure if I have already mentioned that any flashbacks I do will be in italics so you can see when it is a memory and when it is not. So I am saying it now.

This will be most likely be filler in chapter, just to keep you going until I can get the next main chapter up which hopefully will not be as long in coming as this one was. Which hopefully shouldn't be as I am in a writing mood for this story at this moment, it might last for one chapter or more, we will have to wait and see!

Loki sat, his knees curled up to his chest, his arms wrapped around them and his head resting on top of them in an effort to keep warm. Normally the cold did not bother him but the air inside the cell was frigid and the sounds of a storm outside of the prison he presently found himself in, told him that it was even colder outside.

He closed his eye briefly as he remembered back to opening his door after having called to whoever was knocking to enter but they had not, and he had opened it. He had expected to see perhaps one of his father's guards or even perhaps Hogun, who he had been eager to catch sight of since he had returned to the realm but that was not who had been at the door.

He had opened the door, smiling as he thought that possibly that it might be Hogun on the other side of the door, Loki caught in a little day dream as he thought of what the man he had come to love might say to him first but the sight of a frost giant standing at his door was the last thing he had expected. Before he had been able to give a yell of warning or shock he was not sure which one it would have been, the giant had stormed forward and grabbed him, his hand slamming over his mouth, silencing him.

Loki had tried to lash out with his magic but before he could another smaller frost giant had leaped forward from behind the other, one he had not seen at first and latched a set of manacles over his wrist. He had felt his magic draining, fading until he could barely feel it as it was imprisoned inside him.

"We have to move quickly, it will not be long before Odin is aware of us being here."

The second frost giant told the one who was holding Loki, who despite his temporary, he hoped it was only a temporary loss of his magic and his voice, the other frost giant hand was still clamped over his mouth, was struggling with all his might against the one who held him although it had done him little use as the other was too strong for him.

Loki's struggles must have seemed like those of a child to him barely noticeable until Loki through sheer luck, not that his luck seemed all that good at that moment had managed to kick him in a most painful place and the giant had dropped him falling to his knees in some pain as he grasped that part of his body that Loki had managed to kick.

As Loki hit the ground, loose from the almost strangle hold of the one who had been holding him, he had gone to scream or yell but before even a sound could come from his mouth he had felt a sharp pain blossoming in his skull, as the other frost giant had stepped forward and delivered a swift blow to the back of his cranium.

Consciousness had fled from him but not before his eyes barely made out the outline of a portal being opened on the opposite wall of his living room and he felt himself being picked up and slung over a shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

As his eye had closed, he and his two captors had stepped through the portal to realms unknown.

A sound at the door alerted Loki to the fact that he was no longer alone as the door was thrown open with a crash and he looked up to see…..

A/N: The dreaded annoying cliff hanger, ain't I mean. Hehehe! So two questions for you, if any of you feel like reviewing, 1) Who is at the door? and 2) Where is the prison that Loki is being held?
