Nancy released a breath. This was… confusing, at the least. If she wanted to be more accurate, she would have to say it was bad. How had this happened? It wasn't like anything like this had happened before, so what was different now? She knew the answer of course. She had gotten too involved. Spending so much extra time with him? What had she been thinking? But she also wasn't entirely upset at this revelation. In fact, she was rather happy.
"I think…" she began, "that I need some time to think about this. It's a lot to take in."
