Summary: OOTP spoilers…Severus becomes Dudley Dursley's and Harry's tutor for the rest of the summer after the end of 5th year. What secrets are revealed?
Chapter 20
The day moved quickly along to lunch. Hermione and Harry entered the Great Hall, where they met Ginny and Neville sitting at the Gryffindor table.
"Hey you guys," Harry greeted his friends as he swung his legs over the bench and set his bag on the floor beside him. "How was Care of Magical Creatures, Ginny? Has Hagrid got anything dangerous that Mione and I need to prepare for?"
Hermione and Neville chuckled, thinking of their half-giant friend. Ginny, however, did not look as pleased. "He's got us doing some weird cross-breed. It's like a lion-snake thing. Apparently, Dumbledore put him to it. Something about it might inspire the students to get friendly with other houses, apparently."
Hermione raised her eyebrows. "Sounds fascinating."
"Oh yes, a real thrill," Ginny scowled.
Harry grinned at his friend's woe and decided now would be the time to change the subject. "Hey Ginny, are you going to try out for Chaser this year with Angelina and Alicia graduated?"
"I think I might. When are try outs?"
"I don't know. I don't even know who is captain now. I guess we'll find out once Quidditch season starts."
From there, the conversation turned to straight Quidditch, with an annoyed Hermione spacing out from the conversation. After a while, lunch was almost over. "Alright, kids, I have a potions master to face," Harry said solemnly with a touch of the stereotyped Gryffindor bravado showing in his face.
Neville looked sympathetic, but Hermione and Ginny smiled and wished him luck.
"See you after class," Harry called as he left to go to the dungeons.
The first class of the year with his new father was about to commence.

Trust me, this story is definitely not going towards a Ginny/Harry romance. Quite frankly, I think Harry will be too busy accepting his new father into his life to think about romance. And I have another partner in mind for Ginny- stick around, it'll be a surprise. Also, I am not a Severitus challenger. I don't think I would fit all the necessary requirements anyway. I do not intend to change Harry's character completely, though it may seem like that for the moment. I think with the charms put on him to conceal his real father and make him appear like James (more will be revealed about these intricacies as the story continues) would also make his character more like James'. As the charms wear off, Harry will lose the qualities forced on him by the charms. This will make him show more of his Slytherin side. Also, Harry has been taught by Severus as well as Jerome and Salazar for a long time now. They will have had some influence on his character. I do hope that you will continue reading my story, as I hope I have eased your fears. However if you do not, I suppose life shall go on.
