A little reminder that Dex stole on french made car so he's sitting on the left side. I don't think any of you really care of that little side note and by the end of this chapter that I'm gonna care about that little detail. XD

Dexter rolled up next to the Bentley and tapped on the window. The drivers window looked down and Skulduggery glanced over. "What ever happened to public safety and wearing seat belts?"
Dexter laughed and leaned out even more. "I am wearing a seat belt! I don't see the point though, the French make these things so flappy." He pulled on it and it barely retracted back into the seat. "Must be broken."
"Your head is broken." Skulduggery quipped. The dashboard in both cars suddenly turned inside out and Cyborg's face static into view." I hope you ladies are enjoying being last, because I'm gonna win!"
"I think not. When the fabulous Dex is on the track there's no racer he can't VEX!" Dexter beamed broadly almost falling out the car. Cyborg raised his eyebrows and pretended to check the screen. "Did you just make that up?" he tapped the screen.
"Yes. Yes I did."
"Awesome!" But chu're still gonna lose. Catch ya later." He laughed signing off. Dexter laughed and went to say something to Skulduggery when he was facing an empty road. Dexter heard gears shifting in front of him and the Bentley took up the whole lane blocking Dex from passing. Dexter blew the horn, "road hog!"
Skulduggery was too busy looking at the screen and trying to figure out when Cyborg had time to install it. "Very peculiar," he whispered to himself. He didn't notice until his head got whiplash and he looked in the review mirror and saw a small fox zooming behind him up on his back bumper.
A fox? Skulduggery wiped the mirror and scrunch his imaginary eyeballs. Crash Bandicoot zoomed under his tire and waved. Skulduggery Pleasant, Detective of the Irish Sanctuary, undercover Detective Inspector Me, secretly Lord Vile, respected or hated by all, a talking walking living Elemental skeleton was shocked by the driving fox speeding ahead of him in a tiny race car. For once, Skulduggery had not words.
A blue portal open and something flash by him and curved to a stop. There was already a skeleton, a half robot now a fox and now a blue hedge hog. "How's it going? I hope you don't mind but the real star is coming to race." Sonic gave them a thumbs up.
Raven flew over them monitoring the scene. "We cant have all these people popping up in the middle of the race." Visible bubble stress marks appeared on her forehead. "No more surprise visitors. No more racers."
"But Raven, more enthused racers have come to part take in th rude driving of this game." Star said. Raven groaned inwardly.
"The finish line is just five miles from here and Dexter is already half way there."
"WHAT!" Raven flew away before she got mobbed. By the time they were got going Dexter was way ahead and whopping up and down at the finish line. Skulduggery coughed and pointed. Dexter looked behind him and saw Cyborg chilling with a cup of lemonade and sunglasses. "Its about time you got here. I've been waiting ti say this- Boo ya! I won! I'm on fire!"
"No fair!" Dexter pouted. "I demand a retrial."
"You're not in court Dex." Skulduggery sighed
"I demand a re-race."
"Restart."
"That too."
"Well according to this random tome of rules." Raven glided in front of them. "Any racer coming up in the middle of a race an automatic restart must start. So technically when the Irish cry baby showed up the race started over." She pointed to Dexter. He smiled good naturally. Sonic slammed his knuckles together, "alright then lets get this show on the road."
Cyborg looked over Raven's shoulder. "Let me see that rule book. Hey that's a cooking book!" Raven banished it and somewhere else, we'll say the country side, a bus pulled up and unloaded several more racers. A red hover jet with a little girl in a Hawaiian dress and her dog Stitch, along with a cat and mouse, and a prestige looking man with a top hat fixed his bow tie and a yellow sponge got into their vehicles.
"I'm ready. Racing in a patty." Spongebob said. Starfire flew up and laughed. "Our new destination is the Bermuda Triangle!" The racers looked at her shocked but then the engines roared and they pressed steadily on the gas. Raven took a pistol and counted down. "Ready? Fire. Set. Go." The new racers took off.
