Thanks to everyone who reviewed so far, and special thanks to Beethoven for the last comment you left me, I really needed a pick me up that day. :) OK no more slacking back to business.
Chapter 5
"Baaaahhh!" Spongebob laughed nervously. "This looks like the same jungle Mr Crabs threw me in when he demoted me for a day. It was so dark and cold," his eyes were wide and for a sponge wearing a bucket of water on his head so he could breathe you could still see the cold sweat rolling down his face, "just like this one."
Tom pulled his claws from out of his ears. He couldn't believe there was a walking, talking fish right behind him and he couldn't eat because of indigestion problems with eating a sponge. Besides that he didn't his lunch inside his stomach talking. Tom picked up a giant leaf and swatted Spongebob with it hoping it would get him to stop his quiet but annoying nervous ranting.
Spongebob was hit right smack in the face and hollered wildly running across the jungle until he ran into a giant thorny bush and poked his bucket letting the water spill out. He jumped back screaming hysterically. Dexter back tracked to the screaming idiot and grabbed his lips clamped shut. The adept looked at the nearest tree and blasted a part of it sky high and took the seeping tree sap and placed it on the buckets hole stopping the rest of the water from draining. Dexter let go of his lips and Spongebob sighed. "Thanks partner, I thought I was gonna die for a second."
Tom smacked his forehead while Dexter shook his head. "You two are more idiots then O'Callahan and Bane. Why the hell am I even paired here, where's Skulduggery! He's not winning this race until I say so which I won't." Remembering his two gang followers Dexter sighed sadly and kept hacking his way through the forest clearing a way with his magic. "Come on you weirdly colored almost-cartoon-like fish and anger problemed cat, we need to find someone who knows where Skulduggery is so I can beat them and his boney butt."
Not exactly my longest chapter ever but right now Im aiming to just lay down the teams cuz they're gonna stay like that for the rest of the story while they get eliminated one by one.
