Devin walked into the motel room wearing a tux and holding a bouquet of red roses.

"Carrie, surprise! I figured out why you're mad," he stopped when he realized the room was empty, "...at me."

Devin's smile faded as he walked over to her bed. There was a small note that read, Devin.

He opened it up and read it.

Devin, I've gone home.

I love you, but you need to decide, are you a man...

...or a kid?

~Carrie~

Devin was left shattered. He packed up and left the motel.

Devin walked out of the theatre sadly. It was raining outside, but he didn't really seem to care. He stopped in front of a jewelry store window and looked at his reflection.

Devin: I reflect on my reflection

And I ask myself the question

What's the right direction to go?

I don't know

Am I a man or am I a kid?

His reflection turned into his kid self.

Kid Devin: Am I a kid?

Devin looked around confused. He looked back at the window.

Devin: If I'm a kid, then I'm a very manly kid

Kid Devin: Very manly kid

Devin got on a bus back to Smalltown.

Devin: Am I a kid...

Kid Devin: (Kid)

Devin: ...or am I a man?

He looked at his kid self in the bus window.

Kid Devin: Am I a man?

Devin: If I'm a man, that makes me a child of a man

Kid Devin: A child of a man

He ran his fingers down the window.

Sierra walked into a circle of mirrors that were placed on the stage.

Sierra: I look into these eyes

And I don't recognize

The one I see inside

She stopped in front of one mirror and stared at her reflection.

It's time for me to decide

Am I a woman or am I kid?

Her reflection turned into her adult self.

Adult Sierra: Am I a kid?

Sierra's eyes widened. She looked around her confused. She looked back at the mirror.

Sierra: If I'm a kid, well, I'm a very girly kid

Adult Sierra: Very girly kid

Sierra: Am I a kid...

Adult Sierra: (Kid)

Sierra: ...or am I a woman?

Adult Sierra: Am I a woman?

Sierra: If I'm a woman, that makes me a child of a woman

Adult Sierra: A child of a woman

Sierra closed her eyes sadly and walked away from the mirror.

Both: Here I go again

I'm always running out of time

I think I've made up my mind

Now I understand who I am

Devin looked up at the sky. He raised his fists and yelled.

Devin: I'm a man!

Sierra looked up at the ceiling. She raised her fist and yelled.

Sierra: I'm a kid!

Devin: I'm a child of a man!

Sierra: I'm a very girly kid!

Devin: I'm a childish man!

Devin's bus drove past the Smalltown sign.

Population: 101

Sierra looked at the mirror again.

She watched as her adult self faded away and her real reflection appeared again.

She looked at herself, and smiled.

Devin went to Carrie's house and knocked on the door.

She opened the door in her bathrobe. Her eyes widened when she saw Devin standing at her front door.

"I'm so sorry."

"Oh Devin!," Carrie hugged him.

"Carrie," he hugged her back.

Both: That's what I am
