The last couple of weeks had been extremely hard for me. And I think Edward too. The Cullens went to see Nessie cheer at the football games which Seth played on football team so the pack and everyone else went as well. Every guy that passed by Nessie would talk to her but the way Edward's face would be looking at them I knew the guys wanted to do more then just talk to her. I think it took every cell in our bodies not to go around beating up all these high school boys but one thing that is really starting to bug me is the way Nessie cares for Seth. Like in one play Seth got hit really hard and he wasn't getting up then all you see is Nessie running toward the field onto where Seth was laying. Nessie really can't stand to see Seth hurt even if she knows he can heal fast cause later we found out that Seth was just pretending to be hurt. He said it would have been strange for him to get a hit like that and not be hurt. But I still can not get that out of my head because Nessie already told she wanted to be with me and I basically turn her down so it's a possibility that she could move on to Seth I mean she kinda did have a crush on him. My mind wonder at the thought of Seth being with Nessie I mean losing her to another guy really didn't bother me as much as losing her to someone I call my brother.
"Jake stop. Your gonna break it" my dad said. I looked down to see what I was holding it was the tv remote. I dropped it.
"Well what got you going all hulk so early in the morning" my dad said. I looked at him.
"Oh so it's that face. Who did you see Nessie with this time?"
"Dad, do you think that one of us can take away or be with our imprints"
"Jake you know that Seth could never do that to you"
It pissed me off even more to know he knew what and who I was talking about.
"Dad just answer the question"
"Any thing is possible son it's never been done before but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Jacob you imprinting on Nessie may seem like nothing to you now but to your brothers they can see and feel that connection and where the need to keep each other imprint happy, alive and protected its just like how you see and feel it toward Emily, Rachael, and Claire but your brothers get it stronger because your the alpha and they need to obey you but like I said before anything is possible it will all just come down to Seth" my dad said.

I went to Charlie's to go see Nessie. Ever since Sam stopped phasing I became the alpha which meant I was in charge of everything that had to do with the pack. Everything had to go through me and I was the one to tell the others what to do but I wasn't as good as Sam. He lived and breathed this pack he demanded that we do whatever he said and I hated not having a choice so I couldn't do that to the pack. The only ones that constantly did their patrol was me, Collin, and shockingly Leah. It was once Paul and Seth too but with Paul and my sister having their 3rd little demon child and Seth being back in school they stopped. Though Sam and Paul are working with Charlie now and now that Charlie knows about us it's easier to know if there is a vampire in town.

I opened the door and saw Nessie laying her hand on Seth's lap and her looking up at Seth talking.
"So what do you think is gonna happen?" She asked. I slammed the door "Hey" I said
"Jacob" Nessie said getting of Seth and off the couch.
"So what are you guys doing?" I asked. Seth looked at him and got up off the couch too.
"Seth was just telling what been going on between Quil and Claire" Nessie said. Damn seth better not have told Nessie about everything about imprint because she knows nothing about it and she never will. I looked at Seth and he just shook his head as answering my question as if he knew I was asking him. "Oh god I can't even think about it anymore" Nessie said and walked towards the kitchen.
"What's wrong with her?" I asked Seth.
"She saw Quil angry"
"Why was he angry?"
"Claire was apparently flirting with some guy and Quil got all defensive then he started arguing with the guy. Quil punched him and knocked him out cold then Quil phased" Seth said. Aww man Nessie has never seen of angry or really how we phased so that probably why she looks so freaked out then I hear something break in the kitchen. Me and Seth went to Nessie. She was on the floor picking up the glass.
"I'm such a butterfingers" she said. Seth went towards Nessie.
"Nah don't worry I got it" Seth said and started picking up the broken glass.
I looked at Nessie and her hands were shaking.
"Sit down Nessie" I said and pull a chair for her. She sat down.
"I still can't believe Quil did that" she said.
"Well know how much of a fool he can be" Seth said
"I still don't understand why he would act that way even if he does like her" she paused. "Are all of you like that?"
"No, not really" Seth said getting up of the floor and throwing the broken glass into the trash can and placed a cup of tea on the table. Nessie took it and drank some.
"I mean its bad enough that you guys already have anger problems you guys don't need to add jealous to that too" she said
"Hey Car! you home?" Said Charlie
"Yeah I'm in the kitchen... Hey Charlie" Nessie said. Charlie was holding a large box of pizza.
"Hey. Seth, Jacob" Charlie said unhappy to see me because he was just as protective of her as Edward was and he didn't like it one bit that I once liked Bella and now was being really close with her 'adoptive' daughter.
"Hey Chief" me and Seth both said
"I should of known one or both of you guys would be here. I should have brought more food" Charlie said.
"I'm not really that hungry away" Nessie said. Charlie looked.
"Making tea? Are you sick Car? You want me to take you to the doctor?" Charlie asked.
"No thanks, really Charlie I'm fine" Nessie said. Charlie put his hand on Nessie forehead.
"Your shaking" he said.
"I'm just cold that's all... ima just gonna go get a blanket" Nessie said and got up. Charlie looked at both me and Seth.
"Is she sick?"
"No"
"Don't lie to me boys"
"Well not that we know of" I said
"I'm taking the night shift today I won't be here to take care of her if it gets worse" Charlie said. Nessie came down with her oversized furry blanket Charlie brought her.
"Am just gonna go pick up some medicine for you just in case" Charlie said. Kissed her forehead and left.
"Do I look sick?" Nessie asked.
"You look paler than usual" Seth joked. Nessie hit em' right in the stomach.
"No. I'm serious lately I've been feeling a little light headed and I can't even see human food right now without getting sick" Nessie said.
"Well lets hope your not pregnant" said Embry coming in from the back door.
"Oh shut up Embry" Nessie said and went to the living room.
"What happened with Quil?" I asked.
"He got a little crazy today but we've got him under control now"
"Go get him tell him I need to talk to him. Seth switch shifts with your sister let her take a break" I said more like ordered then both had to listen and left and so was I when Nessie said.
"Please don't yell at him"
"Nessie he knows better than to phase out in public. Ill get Embry to come back and keep you company" I said and left.

It was late at night and I went back to Charlie's. Both Nessie and Embry we sleeping in separate couches.
"Embry" I shook him to wake him.
"You can go home now I've got it from here"
"Okay" he said half a sleep head towards the door.
"Your done with patrols until I tell you to-"
"Yes thank god" he said and left.
I picked up Nessie as gently as I could not to wake her. I took her up to her room and right when I laid her down. She began to wake up. She freaked a little then she realized it was only me.
"Jacob" she murmured
"Hey, I didn't mean to wake you"
"No it's fine. Come here" she said and moved over so I could lay down too. We were laying down and we were looking at each right in the eyes.
"I was actually hoping to talk to you. What did you do with Quil?"
"I yelled at him and give him a couple of more shifts" I said and Nessie looked down then moved and looked up at the ceiling.
"You know I always thought Rosalie was making all that stuff up about you guys not being safe to be around. I never knew it could be true"
"You've never in all your 17 years of knowing us seen that part of us and-"
"I know but there gonna come a day where I do something to piss you off-" I had to cut her off. How can she ever think that I could phase on her the way Quil did to Claire and Sam to Emily.
"I could never do anything to hurt you" I said. She turned to look at me.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the exact same thing Sam told Emily and look how they turned out"
"I'm not Sam and we're not them" I said she gave me one last look.
"Okay" she said and turned her whole body around. Her back facing me now. She breathed in deeply a couple of times then we both went to sleep.

I haven't written a chapter in a whole but I had to add what Sam is doing now, now that he stopped phasing. And I wanted to add Claire, Quil, Embry, Paul, Leah and Collin real quick. I hope you guys liked so PLEASE LEAVE ME A REVIEW OR SUGGESTIONS ON UP COMING CHAPTERS :D
