Nessie and I were watching t.v on the couch.
"Nessie, what are you doing here?" Alice asked.
"Umm last time I checked, I was still living here" Nessie replied confused.
"I mean I thought you would be with Claire shopping" Alice said.
"Why would I be doing that?" Nessie asked.
"Because it's Claire's birthday tomorrow and you always take her shopping before her birthday" Alice said.
"No, it's not her birthday tomorrow, her birthday is-" Nessie looked at her phone.
"Tomorrow, I can't believe it's the 12th I could have sworn it was the 10th today, dammit" Nessie said getting up off the couch. She turned and looked at Alice.
"Hey Alice, you wanna plan a party"
"Nessie, my definition of a party and your definition of a party are completely different" Alice said.
"No, really like its just you, Rosalie, and Emmett in the house. the 'fun vampires' might as well and this is the only way I know I can get out of forgetting her birthday" Nessie said.
"Oh my god yes okay. Claire is gonna have the best party ever" Alice said excited and disappeared.
"Oh you've done it now" Emmett joked.
Alice as always did a great job at decorating at the house. I've decided to tell everyone to come to the party. My pack has been working hard for so long I wanted to reward them for all they've done to protect Nessie and the town.
We were the first to arrive. We stood in front not knowing if the party would be inside or out.
"Next time Seth please remember not to invite me" Leah scowled.
"It's Claire. Leah you had to come" Seth said
"But it reeks in here, I'ma be outside" Leah said and walked towards the door.
"The kill joy" Collin said.
"Rosalie! Alice!" A yell filled the house.
"Where the hell are all my clothes!?" Nessie yelled.
"Wear the clothes we picked out for you" Rosalie said with bags of chips and Alice coming right behind her
"Are you crazy?!" Nessie said again.
"You know she's not gonna wear the clothes" Alice said to Rosalie. Rosalie smiled.
"I'm ready when you are" Rosalie said and then they disappeared upstairs.
Me and the pack started eating the food that was laid out on the table. A while after Rosalie and Alice came down the stairs with a smile on their faces.
"Prepare for your jaws to be drop boys" Alice whispered to us and give me a big smile. We all stopped eating and looked up and followed the sound of high heels hitting the floor. We looked at the staircase and there she was. With cocktail burgundy long sleeved laced dress that hugged her body perfectly. Her hair was curly that fall down to her waist and her makeup was done perfectly natural with a popping burgundy lipstick to match. She walked down the staircase. Everyone in shocked on how beautiful and to be honest. she looked sexy. And that's when it happened.
With Seth being the only one to move, he meet her at the bottom of the stairs and offered his hand to help her down the last couple of stairs.
"Wow, you look beautiful" Seth said
"We told you" Rosalie and Alice both said from a different room. Nessie smiled.
"Really? You don't think it's a little to much... Maybe I should go change" Nessie said. Turned around to go back up the stairs but Seth stopped her.
"No no, you look great Im just... speechless" Seth said. Nessie smiled at look at us then back at Seth.
"Hey, Can you come help me with something" Nessie asked.
"Yeah. Sure" Seth said and they walked away.
"Where the hell has that body been?" Collin said.
"Like really I always knew Nessie's body was bangin' but in that red dress damn" Brady said.
"And her ass looks-" Embry paused and looked at how pissed I was getting.
"We're just gonna go outside" Embry said and the pack followed.
Claire arrived to the party, she was surprised and everything went according to plan of course because of Alice and Rosalie. I finally saw Nessie and she was alone for the first time so I made my move.
"Hey" i said. She jumped a little.
"Hi" she smiled at me.
"Are you having fun?" I asked.
"Yeah I guess, it's my first BIG party and you would I would be more excited" she chuckled.
"You look beautiful" i pointed out.
"Thank you, Rosalie and Alice did a good job with me"
"I like your hair that way" i said putting some of her hair back to her ear.
"Thanks" she smiled. I looked into her eyes as they looked back into mine.
"Nessie there's something I wanna tell you but after everything that happened weeks ago I don't know-"
"Jake come on. I'm your best friend you know you can tell me anything" she said cutting me off and laid her hand on my shoulder. Her touch just blows me away. I never knew something so simple as that can just make you feeling something inside.
"Nessie I-" i was cut off again
"Carlie?" I heard a girl say. Nessie turned around.
"Oh my god, Carlie is that you?" Another girl said. Getting closer.
"Hold that thought Jake" she said I went to the group of people entering the house.
"Hey, you are late?" She complain.
"Blame the girls but damn come here let me take a look at you" one guy said.
"I'm really liking this whole new slutty version of you" one girl said.
"Yeah I think I just might be going lesbian for you" said another girl.
"Woah who is that?" Said a guy entering with two more guys
"My next baby momma, ya mean?" Said another guy.
"Damn shawty let me holla at you real quick" said yet another guy. Nessie just laughed and took them outside. I had to literally run outside strip just so I would phase. Yes that's how mad I was about all the guys drooling over Nessie even my own pack members.
I spent all night tryna be around Nessie and I also spent all night tryna get away from her friends who keep tryna flirt with me but I eventually got rid of the girls by passing them down to the pack. I watched Nessie the whole night everytime she talked to a guy even just when she was in the presence of another guy made me crazy I just wanted to kill all of them. The only one that caught on was Embry, he was there to calm me down as best as he could but there was no stopping it. Nessie has become an obsession to me I need her, want her.
I was at Claire's house the next day. Her mom called telling me that there was something wrong with the car and if I could do her the favor to come and look at it and fix it if possible.
"Hey Jake" i heard Claire say.
"What's up Claire" i said. You can say that Claire has become my best friend you know besides from Nessie. She's always joking around with me about Nessie with anything she can find to bug me but when she's not doing that. She really is like my second best friend and she knows all a lot about me and my personal life.
"Tired from last night" she said and just smiled at me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.
"Surprise that's all"
"Why?"
"Because I was afraid that I was gonna have to explain to one of my girlfriends why you slept with them and never called back" i laughed a little because she did that for me A LOT that's one of the reasons why we're so close.
"Kinda surprise that either you were off your game yesterday or that my friends at Forks high just ain't that slutty"
"What? I wasn't off my game and your friends ARE that slutty"
"Wow last time you didn't sleep with anyone at a party you had a girlfriend. Is someone hiding a girlfriend?"
"What? No"
"Right because every girl wants the world to know that Jacob Black is her boyfriend if they ever got the chance to call you that" she said and I just laughed a little.
"Sooo your just not gonna tell"
"I rather have you find out by yourself. your good at that"
"Your right besides I needed something to keep me occupied"
"Bye Claire" i said leaving her to think about it.
"Bye" she said
I was at Emily's now. The pack found out that my feeling for Nessie are now there. The pack gathered around the dinner table.
"It's a million times worst than when he was in love with Bella" Quil said
"Yeeah your one to talk Quil" Jared said.
"Every second is just her beauty her eyes and her hair-" Brady was cut off.
"Guys stop it" Emily said but had a smile when she said it. We eat and the guys started fooling around and play wrestling while I watched by the doorway.
"So how does it feel finally seeing Nessie differently?" Emily asked.
"Horrible. It's true what the guys say just everything-"
"I know, I know"
"And what kills me. is that I can't find the words to tell her how I feel about her now. I mean yesterday she was just Nessie and now it's like she's MY Nessie"
"She not property Jacob"
"I know but you know what I mean"
