With the death of Nessie's friends according to Edward, she was dealing with it better then me hoped. But it was when she wasn't with her family is when I began to question how well she was dealing with it. Like every other moment Nessie is constantly looking behind her shoulder. Bella said that it was normal because of the amount of blood she had taken in that day so her hearing was a lot better but I dont know one day I was sleeping on the floor of Nessie's room. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw her standing by the window like just standing there in the dark.

"What are you doing?" I whispered so I wouldn't wake Charlie but she didn't say anything.

"Nessie?" I whispered a little louder. She shook her head.

"What?" She questioned and looked at me.

"What are you doing?" I asked again.

"Umm nothing" she whispered and looked out the window.

"I... couldn't sleep so I decided to look at the rain fall" she said as if she was trying to convince me that this was what she was actually doing.

"Oh... try to go back to sleep. You just standing there looking out the window is kinda freaking out a little" i said and she kinda was I mean she looked like one of those ghost you see late at night just staring out the window.

"Right" she said and went to bed.

Me and the pack we're outside my house just hanging out. Talking, eating and listening to music. We all decide to take a night off of patrolling.

We sat around a fire. Quil was going off about Claire and other stuff. He just won't shut up until his phone rang.

"Quil!-" i heard Claire say but Quil quickly cut her off.

"Claire, I thought you weren't-" then she cut him off

Quil and Claire have been on a off and on bases. They both have the same attitude and their both stubborn.

"Shut up Quil-"

"See this is why we're always fighting because you treat me like-"

"Uggh I don't have time for this Quil"

"Then did you call me?" Quil questioned angry. The pack and i rolled our eyes tired of the whole thing ourselves.

"Because of Nessie. It's an emergency" Claire said. Nessie was sleepover at Claire's. I quickly turned off the music. Everyone was now focused on the call.

"What? What is it? Is she okay?" Quil asked and the phone was speaker now so the whole pack could hear.

"No. Well I don't know. One minute we're sleeping and the next, she wakes up and now she's just outside standing there, not doing anything and she yells at me every time I step outside... Quil. Quil she leaving. Quil she's gone I don't see her anymore. Nessie!" Claire yelled and call ended. We tied our pants and shirts to our legs and phased.

We all went looking for her. And searching for a vampire scent. We didn't find either of them. I began to panic I couldn't find her, I didn't know what was wrong. I don't know what had her get up in the middle of the night and just made her disappeared. Then someone had found her. Collin. I ran towards where they were. Threw his eyes I saw her. She was just standing there then she turned to Collin. She was shakey and crying.

"Collin, there's something here" she whispered. Collin just shook his head

"Yes, there is" Collin shook his head again. I phased back into my human form and put on my pants and shirt.

"I know there is" she cried. I stepped on some branches making a sound. Nessie head quickly shot back. She was so paranoid.

"Jacob" she whispered in relief. She came and hugged me. I could feel that she was more calm when i was with her. Collin left.

"It's fine" I said.

"No, it's not Jacob"

"Nessie calm down. It's fine. The whole pack is searching for it and they haven't found it" I said. she began to pace. I've never seen her this scared and this freaked out before. It broke my heart that she was feeling this way.

"Jacob, I'm not going crazy" she began but honestly she looked and she acted like she was going crazy. She began to pace again.

"For a while now I've-I've felt like something has been following me but I-I don't see it, I don't hear it, I can just feel it and once when Charlie came home I know-I know that I can't smell vampires but I swear Jacob I swear he didn't smell like himself and that same scent was at Claire's house today. I'm not crazy Jacob-"

"Okay. I believe you and whatever it is. I'm gonna find it. I'm not gonna let it hurt you or Charlie or anyone" i said trying to comfront her. she was never the one to be afraid to die. It was anyone that she knew that could die is what she was afraid of. The fact that Charlie and Claire were involved is what had her this scared.

"Okay I promise. You wanna come stay with me?" I asked.

"No. I'll call my family, this situation just has me so scared that... Is it okay if my family comes here and does a perimeter run?"

"Yeeah of course. Anything to make you feel more safe"

Its been 3 days and Nessie has not stop talking about this thing that has been 'following her'. The only way I can describe it is that she's come obsessed and just crazy about it. We've found nothing and we haven't caught scent of any vampires. I went to the Cullens's house.

"Hey, how is she?" I asked

"She seems calmer. Edward just drove her to school" Bella said.

"What?! She went to school? Bella how did you let her go to school if something-"

"That's just it Jacob... there's nothing following her. Unless you and the pack picked up on something"

"No we didn't"

"Edward says that she keeps feeling like something is following her"

"Yeah she told me"

"Just wait til I show you what she been drawing lately"

I followed Bella to Nessie's room. She opened and handed me the drawings. Nessie's drawings were all the same, she was at Charlie's house, some were at Claire's house but Nessie was sitting on the bed and from the window stood a shadow figure outside.

"What does everyone else say about this?"

"Not much. Not until she drew this" Bella said showing me a picture of Nessie sleeping and the shadow figure standing over her watching her sleep.

"Nessie told me that she smelled the same scent that was on Charlie at Claire's house"

"Yeah but this is not Claire's house. This is here" Bella said. I looked over to Nessie's bed then the drawing it was exactly the same.

"Dad, I saw him. He was at the school" a yelled filled the house. Me and Bella went down stairs.

"Baby I was right next to you-"

"Then I don't know what he is if you and the pack can't smell him but I saw him. But you know what scares me the most. He was near Charlie and at Claire's house and only time that I feel him is when he's this close to me. I know that because you guys don't see him and- and that you can't smell him but I know he's here and I know that he's real. I wouldn't lie about something like this"

"We know. Me and your mom will go patrol near Charlie and you that Claire is save with Quil. We'll do whatever we can to keep them and you safe" Edward said

"Jacob?" Edward said

"Yeah" i said knowing that Edward was asking me to stay and take care of her when they left. Nessie disappeared from the living room and went to her room.

"Nessie"

"Okay I know that you guys think I'm crazy-"

"No we don't" i said. Nessie was drawing another picture

"Nessie stop, it's fine"

"Stop saying its fine Jacob because it not fine. He's been with Charlie; in Claire's house and in this house full of vampires and if that didn't matter to him then who's knows what he is capable of doing" she said. She was drawing like crazy.

"Nessie stop"

"No I can't because if I can't give you guys a visual of what he looks like how are you guys ever gonna stop-" she cried and i just hugged her.

"Jacob" she whispered. I turned around to look out Nessie's baloney.

"What do you see him? Is here?"

"No" she said and went back to her desk and drew quickly then showed it to me.

"This is what I saw at school"

"I can't really see him face Nessie"

"Yeah i know. That's not the point. This is the exact spot you wait for me in your wolf form and you go there because it's close to the school and it's hard for people to see you right?"

"Yeah"

"Exactly"

"Okay. Explain it to me more"

"My dad didn't see him because he didn't know where to look. I'm so use to seeing you there that I saw him"

"He was waiting you"

"He knows who I live with, where I go to school, who I'm with and where I am. I don't think she's following me. I think he's studying me"

"Nessie-"

"Think about it Jacob why hasn't he attacked me yet... because he knows who I hang around with. He knows what times I'll be alone I mean you don't do all this just to do it. I think he knows"

"You think he knows what?"

"That I'm half a vampire"

Later on that day, the Cullens and I gathered together and talked about the situation while Nessie slept.

"So Nessie has... well we don't even know what this guy is stalking her" Emmett said.

"She beginning to think that he's not stalking her but studying her" Edward said.

"What?" Bella said.

"Yeah. She believes that this guy knows what she is because he's doing all this but hasn't attacked her yet" i said.

"Yeah I mean why go through all this if your not planning on attacking her" Carlisle said.

"She claims that when she's alone is when the feeling start" Edward said then looked right at Emmett.

"Hell no" Edward.

"She wouldn't be alone Edward it's the only way that-" Rosalie cut Emmett off.

"Shhh" the blonde said. It was silent for like 3 minutes but Rosalie was still looking like she was waiting to hear something. I didn't hear anything myself. Rosalie stood up.

"Renesmee?" Rosalie called slowly. Nothing.

Then Nessie screamed. Everyone rushed to her room.

"Baby-" i heard Edward say. When I got to her room, the bed sheet were off the bed and on the floor.

"Do you not smell his scent. Guys it all over the bed. Daddy you have to do something. I can't do this anymore I can't-I can't" she panicked and Edward hugged her.

"That's it Nessie. I'm just gonna say what nobody else wants to. Your crazy there is no scent here. You have vampires and a werewolf that senses are way more advanced and we cant even smell anything here" Emmett said. Nessie just give him a evil look

"Oh yeeah" Nessie said. She pulled out her ipad and looked at. She grasped a little and handed Emmett the ipad.

"Yeah, well maybe not advanced enough" she said. We all gathered around Emmett. It was a video Nessie was sleeping. A while later a man with all black on and a black ski mask comes into her room and walks around her room. Looking at things then looks at her bed. he dragged his hands around the edges of the bed and then just stands there. You can hear us talking in the background a little and he looks up then down at Nessie and then he touches her face and disappears and that second she walks up.

"I think her plan was much more safer Eddie" Emmett said.

We went back to the living room.

"Okay so this guy clearly wants us to know that he exist now" Bella said.

"But he doesn't want us to know what he looks like because he's wearing a ski mask but he wants us to know about him because he clearly looks in the camera's direction and then leaves. Judging by the video he's a vampire I mean he has to be" Nessie said.

"A vampire that doesn't have a scent as a vampire? I mean even Nessie has a bit of a supernatural scent to her" Emmett said.

"Could it be he's ability" Nessie said.

"I've never heard of a vampire that didn't give off a scent as a ability" Carlisle said.

"Its true. We also have to consider why Renesmee is the only one that can smell it and why Alice can't see it" Rosalie said.

Weeks went by and we still found nothing. No trace of whatever that was following Nessie, this was entering it's third month.

Then came that day I got an call from Bella looking for her. When I told her I hadn't seen her then she told me that she was MISSING.

I rushed over to the Cullens. I howled letting my pack know something was wrong. Only Embry and Brady phased so we howled together. Later all the pack was phased but once Leah found out that he had to look for Nessie, she said they was enough people looking for her so phased back to her human form. There was no sign of Nessie but her scent lead us into the forest but it disappeared. The Cullens did some calculations sending us to different locations. We were up all night and didn't find her. Esmee invited the pack back to the Cullens because we were tired I mean tired. Esmee and Edward came back with us.

"I've should of listened more. She told us that something was following her and- " Edward was cut off

"Edward we'll find her. Renesmee is strong she'll be okay" Esmee said

Edward went inside the house and then came out with one of Nessie's sweaters. He smelled it and left.

Esmee made us food. My pack ate and slept. I was so tired and hungry but I couldn't eat. Esmee told us to let them handle looking for Nessie. We all object of course because we would look for her anyway.

"I know you guys care for her but we don't need to eat, sleep. We don't we tired. We'll handle looking for Nessie this time. You guys stay here and search this area" Esmee said and left.

Five days searching for Nessie and nothing. Everything around feel like it was falling apart, she was gone. We couldn't find her and Alice couldn't see anything that involved Nessie. The Cullens came back to their house. They brought out a map and discussed all the places they searched and nothing. No sign of Nessie it's like she disappeared. We talked to everyone except Charlie about her. When Edward had called Jeremy's house no one answered so went over to their house. We knocked but no one answered so when we were about break in.

"They're not home!" a very old man in a wheelchair by his door yelled.

"Do you have any idea of where they could be?!" Edward yelled back.

"Little Jeremy is in the hospital!" the old man said. Edward looked at me.

"Renesmee loves Jeremy like a brother. She could be with him" Edward told me.

"What about the blood?" I asked him. We started to leave but then the old man said.

"Hey! You should know that the Gilberts... passed away" the man yelled. Edward got close to the old man's house.

"How?" Edward asked. So many thought were going through my head I know I was just making things worse on Edward because I was yelling in my head because of this man says "animal attack" I'm going to lose it because the old man will be answering all our questions and why we couldn't find her because she would be d-. NO! Couldn't even think about that and shouldn't think like that. The man started talking.

"They won't tell me" he said. Me and Edward's reaction was the same. Charlie wasn't given a noticed about this so it made it even more clear that Nessie may not be coming back to us.

"The hospital called here because my wife used to take care of Jeremy. Somehow they found her in an emergency card. She dead now and as you can see I can't go to the hospital. That kid has no else that I know of so that hospital couldn't tell me what happened but all they could tell me was that he's in a coma" he said.

"Did they tell you when this happened?" I asked.

"Near a week ago" he said. Me and Edward thanked him and we left.

Edward broke into the hospital's files and Sam broke into the police station files and from those files we got that the Gilberts were just in a bad car accident. I was a bit relieved that Nessie had nothing to do with it but now we were back to square one. Nessie was still missing and without a trace of her.
