Nessie stayed in Carlisle's office. He said that her ribs on her right side were broken and she took a big big blow to the head and she lost a lot of blood. Nessie spent 2 days in recovery. One morning I was sitting near a wall because the blonde took the seat near Nessie. I slowly falling in and out of sleep. I heard a large exhale and my eyes opened. I looked at Nessie and her legs were moving a little. I got up and went to her. Nessie touched her head and opened her eyes. She quickly sat up then yelled and touched her head again
"Hey. Your fine, your home now" the blonde said. Nessie looked at her in relief.
"Relax" she said and laid Nessie back down. Nessie keep touching her head.
"How did I get here?" She asked.
"You showed up here" i said.
"Where were you?" The blonde said and petted her head. Nessie was silent but she started breathing a little bit heavily.
"I don't remember- I don't remember. But the last thing that I do remember was that I was on the phone walking and everything is just blank" she said. "The phone. I need to call Jeremy, we suppose to hang out he's probably worried-" Blondie cut her off
"I doubt that" the Blonde said.
"What do you mean Rose?" Nessie asked.
"Renesmee you been missing for 16 days and healing for 2" the Blonde answered.
"What?... What have you been telling Charlie?" Nessie asked.
"That you took a quick flight to come see us" the Blonde answered.
Nessie was on the phone with Charlie.
"Carlie finally you called. I've been so worried about"
"I'm sorry I-I lost my phone. And I was so happy to final see my family that- I'm sorry"
"When are you coming back? You have school remember"
I walked in the office. Nessie looked at me.
"Yeah I know. I'll be there in 2 days, 3 tops"
"Okay, I love you"
"I love you too"
Nessie looked at me worried.
"I think he's starting to realize that something up" she told me. She dialed a number but it just rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Renesmee your awake. Are you okay?" Bella rushed in. Nessie hung up the phone.
"Mom don't worry, I'm okay" Nessie said. Nessie looked towards the door so , so did I. Edward was standing there. Nessie looked at Edward and he just looked down and left. Nessie got sad then Carlisle came in.
"I'm going to run a couple tests on Renesmee" Carlisle said so Bella and I left the room.
"Tests?" Nessie questioned.
"I just want to make sure that everything is okay"
"Rosalie told me that I was healing for 2 days"
"That's correct"
"Why did it take me so long to heal?"
"That was the million dollar question around here"
About an hour Carlisle came down.
"She was still having extreme pain in her head so I put her to sleep so her body should completely heal itself by the time she wakes up" he said.
Nessie slept until it started getting dark. With the TV no one noticed she was up until she was in the room.
"Nessie" i said and quickly it over to help her. Everyone attention was on her now.
"I'm fine, I'm fine" she said but didn't sound okay.
"You feel okay?" I asked.
"Yeah a little weak still but better" she said. We watched her walk over to the phone. She called like 5 times but whoever she was calling wasn't answering.
"Edward" Bella whispered. Edward went over to Nessie and put his hand on the phone.
"They're not going to answer" he said.
"Why not?" She asked. Edward gently took the phone.
"Come sit down you shouldn't be standing" he said. You can hear it in his voice that he was just hurt and Nessie caught on. Edward helped Nessie to the couch once Nessie sat down.
"Dad? Why are the Gilberts not gonna answer?" She asked. Edward sat on the living room table and was facing her.
Damn I totally forgot about Jeremy's parents dying. Nessie loved them so much, she going to be crushed when she finds out.
Edward grabbed her hand and rubbed it. He looked at her not knowing where to start.
"Renesmee.. something happened while you were missing" he began.
"What happened?" She asked.
"They had an accident and passed away" he let out. Nessie was in shock. She got up and just paced and grabbed her head and then she began to exhale largely. Then she started crying. Edward speeded towards her.
"No, no, no, no Renesmee it wasn't your fault" Edward said but she just cried even more.
"Their car went off the Wickery Bridge. It's was a car accident it happens" Edward said with such a face that I don't even know what to called it
"No. no. noo" was all Nessie could say.
"Renesmee the results of their autopsies revealed no large amounts of blood drained from their blood. They didn't die a supernatural way" Edward said.
"How?" She let out.
"They said that Grayson lost control over the vehicle. Maranda died before the car even hit the bottom of the lake. And Grayson drowned trying to escape. Je-" Nessie cut him off.
"Oh my god Jeremy! What happened to Jeremy?!" She yelled. Edward just looked at her.
"Renesmee" Edward let out.
"Nooo! No he's not" Nessie yelled.
"He's in the hospital baby but the doctors aren't sure that he'll make it" Edward said. Nessie nearly dropped after she heard that.
"They thought it was a miracle that he even managed to get out of the lake" Edward said. Nessie wiped her tears and disappeared but before Edward could go after her. She came back down wearing sneakers and a sweater.
"I'm gonna go see him" she said. Edward got in her way.
"You can't do that" he whispered.
"What you mean I can't?!" Nessie yelled angry. Nessie went a different direction but Edward followed.
"You know why" Edward whispered again hurt. Nessie speeded pass Edward and opened the front door. We all got up for a better view. Edward slammed the door closed. Blocking Nessie exit.
"Daddy move! I have to see Jeremy. He needs me! Daddy move!" Nessie yelled.
"I can't Renesmee" Edward said. You can hear the pain in his voice. Then the sounds of Bella crying filled the room as Nessie tried to push Edward away. But the was no moving Edward, Nessie wasn't strong enough.
"I promise I won't hurt anyone. Daddy just move" she cried. Then she started hitting him and trying to move him. Edward got control over her arms and she yelled. Edward pick her up and then hugged her. His arms were locked around her and she yelled to let her go but he didn't. I looked around the room hoping someone would intervene but same as me no one couldn't. We all watched as Nessie cried and yelled to be let go. The girls had the way of crying and just the scene of the whole thing broke everyone's heart. Edward's back was against the door.
"I can't risk it baby, I'm sorry" he whispered and then forced her to the ground. She stopped yelling as they sat there by the door. Edward's arms still locked around her.
"Daddy let me go. Daddy let me go I need to see him" she cried but Edward just hugged her more which made her cry even more.
"Daddy let me go. Daddy let me go" she cried. Then Nessie was just crying and relaxed a little.
"I've already called the hospital, they'll call here if anything happens to Jeremy" Edward said and Nessie just closed her eyes and cried.
"Baby I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" Edward said and kissed her head as she continued to cry in his arms.
No one in the room could of done what Edward just did. That just goes to show you that there's no stronger bond than a bond between a father and his daughter.
