Days Later

She doesn't eat. She can't sleep. Her skin was losing his color along with her hair and her eyes were getting darker like a black color. I left her side for a couple of days because my dad wasn't feeling well either but when I came back to the Cullens house. Alice, the Blonde and Emmett were outside pacing around almost like guarding the house.

"What's going on?" I asked Alice.

"Nessie finally got a call from the hospital" Alice said sad. Aww man

"He's showing signs of progress. You can imagine how happy she was. So she left to see him but she couldn't even make it to the hospital. Before all the blood finally got to her. Emmett had to bring her back"

"I don't how she's gonna be like if this kid doesn't make it. You really can't see anything Alice"

"No and you don't know how much I wish I could. To just finally give her an answer. I can't see her like this anymore"

"None of us can" the blonde said. Then I heard things breaking inside the house.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked.

"You wouldn't understand. Dog" the blonde told me.

"Nessie on full vamp mode" Emmett said.

"What full vamp mode?" I questioned.

"Yeah man, I didn't realize how strong she really was until today. I've never seen her like this. I've been seen anyone like this" Emmett said. Then I heard more things breaking and Nessie scream.

"What are they doing to her in there?"

"Edward and Carlisle are in there just tryna calm her down" Emmett said. I took one step towards the house and Emmet quickly stopped me.

"Sorry man can't do that" Emmett said standing in my way. I went passed and walked towards the house but then he appeaed in my way again.

"What?" I questioned.

"I just said Nessie was on full vamp mode. You go in there with that beating heart your done" Emmett said.

"In this state shell kill anything even if the scent is foul" the blonde added. Nessie wouldn't kill me she can't even be mad at me. If anything she needs me to calm her down. She hated whenever I saw her vampire side. She doesn't even drink blood in front of me but Emmett did let me pass.

"Why are you all out here?" I asked because I wasn't going in the house.

"Precaution" Emmett said.

"Of what?" I asked.

"Just in case Ness manages to get away from Eddie and Carlisle" Emmett said and then there was a big bang and Nessie came out the house running.

"Just like I knew her little badass would" Emmett said smiling. Emmett and Rosalie started running towards Nessie but she dodged them and then continued to run towards the woods but before she got to far.

"Jasper Now!" Edward yelled then Jasper in front of Nessie and then she collapsed and Jasper carried her back to the house. He used his mood control to calm her down but he probably to much which cause her to collapsed.

Edward made me guard the hospital just in case Nessie got away again and one day she did.

"Nessie" i said blocking her way in.

"Jacob. Move" was all she said.

"Your not suppose to here"

"But I am okay. I'm high off animal blood right now so you have two choices. you continue to stand in my way and I'll kick the shit out of you until I cause a scene" she said. I've never seen Nessie like this and to be honest it scared me little. But she looker at me then she calmed down.

"Or you take my hand and you can walk in there with me because as my best friend i need you there to prevent me from going wild again. I'm gonna see him regardless-" i took Nessie's hand and she hugged me and we went inside together.

I was in the hospital with Nessie that whole week. The Cullens got Jeremy a private room so Nessie stayed with well I stayed in the waiting room not to far from them. I watched Nessie, watch Jeremy. This was all she wanted, to be here with him because she forget that we were even in a hospital. Her face was just full of hope and just desperately wait for Jeremy to wake up. Then he did I saw his eyes opened and out off the wall slowly took closer steps towards the door but I didn't go in. Nessie smiled huge and tears filled her eyes.

"Hey hey hey" Nessie whispered and patted his head.

"Carlie?" Jeremy let out.

"Yeah, it's me" Nessie happy and cried.

"Why do you look like that?"

"I'm just so happy that you're finally awake" Nessie said still happy. Jeremy looked around the room confused.

"How long have I been here?"

"About a month"

"A month?"

"Yeah the doctors thought that you weren't gonna make it. How stupid are you making them look now" Nessie joked and Jeremy smiled. There was long moment of silence

"How's my mom and dad? I wanna see them" Jeremy said and Nessie didn't say anything.

"Carlie? Where are my mom and dad?"

"I hate to be the one to tell you this Jere, but they they didn't-"

"Don't say it. Don't say it. Please don't say it"

"They didn't make it Jere" Nessie said her heart clearly broken to watch Jeremy cry for his parent's death.

"Jeremy calm down"

"Calm down. Carlie how can you tell me to calm down"

"Jere you just woke up-"

"Just go Carlie leave"

"No, I'm staying whether you like it or not Jeremy!"

"Go!"

"Don't shut me out Jeremy"

"I'm an orphan Carlie do you have any idea what that means?! I have nobody. I Have No One!"

"Hey. Hey Hey! Look at me Jeremy don't you ever say that okay. You have me"

"What makes you so sure that something like this won't happen to you"

"It's not okay. You have me. You'll always have me Jeremy. Always" Nessie got in the bed with Jeremy to comfort him. She hugged him.

"I promise. I also promise that I'll be here to take care of you and protect you from everything Jeremy for as long as I live. Your never gonna be alone in anything because I'ma be right there with you through everything. I promise okay. I promise won't let anything happen to you" she said.

Even though I knew Nessie loved Jeremy like a brother it didn't stop me from feeling that with Jeremy's situation that he could be the one to take her away from me. I know that at this point with this kid just waking up as an orphan it was selfish of me to be thinking like this but I couldn't help it Nessie loved him so much that it made me question. Nessie just promised to be in Jeremy's life for as long as she lived which meant in his life time so I knew Jeremy would eventually find out about Nessie because I knew that Nessie wouldn't be incapable of leaving him now. Nessie has a big heart so she would be there of him if he needed anything just like she has been. I need to tell Nessie how I feel and I need to do it sooner better then later.
