After the huge argument Nessie and Samuel had. It got me thinking about the guys that wanted to have a relationship with Nessie and I was lucky enough to be the one she wanted to be with but that was before Samuel came to town. I know Nessie enough to know that she didn't want to make the same mistake her father had. So all the humans to her were off limits no more how much she wanted to be with one and from what I know it never came down to that.
I wanted Nessie for myself there no doubt in my mind. But because I imprinted on her, I just feel the NEED to give her what she wants and do what I can to make her happy and if Samuel makes her happy then... No, No, NOO! I couldn't even think of someone else even touching her or looking at her even if it was what she wanted and what made her happy. I messed up big time when she told me that she had feelings for me and I didn't tell her the truth but I guess because I knew Nessie was never going to even attempt to be with a human it was okay for me at that moment but I never thought Samuel would come back to town that soon, phase then want to be with Nessie.
I followed Samuel, he ran off to Seth's house just like Nessie does. I was following him in my human for so it took me a long time to get there and when I did. Samuel and Seth were in his backyard half way into their conversation.
"She was right there Seth! Telling we could have something" Samuel said pacing with frustration. Samuel stopped in front of Seth.
"I didn't want to tell her that man. I don't want to stay away from her and I don't know why I even told her that I wanted too" Samuel said.
"Because of Jacob" Seth said plain and simple.
"I could careless about him" Samuel quickly said right after.
"No, I mean Jacob didn't tell you to stay away from her. He commanded you too" Seth said again plain and simple. Samuel looked confused.
"Alpha's orders get obey whether we want them to or not. Whatever he commands us to do, we must do. We don't have a say when it comes to that" Seth said. Samuel took a minute to take it all in. And so did I. Because I didn't even realized that I commanded him but it was completely true. Samuel didn't want to stay away from Nessie I saw it in his face but he did it anyway because I told him to. Samuel became pissed off again. He started hitting anything within his distance. Seth give him moment as he backup and watched him but Samuel started getting even angier.
"Dude, not on my backyard" Seth whined pointing out the ground and other things he was messing up
"I can't stay away from her" Samuel said all out of breathe.
"Your gonna have to Samuel. Jacob imprinted on her" Seth said making it clear but Samuel didn't even care.
"You physically can't do that to him" Seth added.
"I know! Everytime I hug her. Every time I look at her or even think of her in any other way... I feel this thing just holding me back, something pulling me back" Samuel said. Samuel calm down and got serious.
"I want her man. And I don't want HIM to have her. He doesn't deserve her. She doesn't deserve everything he is putting her though. But no he can't see that because he's to blind to care about anyone that isn't himself" Samuel said.
"He cares for her. He... loves her" Seth said. The word "love" got Samuel all aggressive in his body language.
"Then he has one hell of a way to show it. I'm not gonna let HIM have her that easily. If he is gonna use his position as Alpha to manipulate me into giving her up then she should know the truth on why that is" Samuel said angry and getting ready to leave.
"And what difference will that make Samuel!" Seth yelled as Samuel started walking. Samuel ignored Seth so Seth got in front of him
"I'm gonna say this for your own good. You don't wanna have to put Nessie in a situation where she has to chose between you and Jacob... Because she'll chose him. In a heart beat... Since the day she was born. It's been Jacob. Samuel you have to let her go. Don't do it for her or for him. Do it for you... Let her go and Move On" Seth told Samuel. Samuel just shook his head lowly knowing that what Seth was saying is true.
"Letting her go is gonna be the hardest thing I will ever have to do" Samuel let out.
"Wait until training. With you being grounded and me at school we've been slacking" Seth joked.
"How am I supposed work with Jacob when just seeing him is gonna make me want to kill him"
"Don't even worry about killing him because you can't. He'll kill you faster than it takes you to actually phase"
There was a moment of silence. Samuel looked down at the ground while Seth looked at him.
"I should of never come home" Samuel paused and just looked at around. Seth slowly sighed.
"Coming back to see everyone. Wasn't worth this and the price that I'm paying now... Now I'm stick here for life. To watch a girl that I may probably love eventually be with someone that I can't even lo"ok at but still have to obey and life by his call" Samuel said.
"You gonna be alright?" Seth asked.
"Yeah" Samuel nodded. "Thanks for the-" Seth cut him off.
"Yeah, anytime buddy. It's safe to say I'm like the therapist for all of the supernatural being in this town" Seth joked. Samuel chuckled a bit and left.
The part below will have no point of view. It will be more on a third person's point of view. Everyone's been saying that I'm taking to long with getting Nessie and Jacob together. I know that but I'm only using this FanFiction page to improve my writing or when I have nothing to do sometimes and I feel like if I get to the point, I lose both those things so I'm sorry if the story is not pleasing anyone but I promise I will try and make things interesting to read. So write a review or give me suggestions.
Nessie is siting on the living room couch of Jeremy's house where she is currently living at. She is deep in thought looking in a different direction of the T.V that is on. It's been a day since her argument with Sammy.
Jeremy walks in and greets her but she not paying attention. Jeremy becomes worried as he notices a blank sad look on her face.
Jeremy walks towards her and appears in her vision. Nessie snaps out of her state with a slight shake of her head.
"Hey, you okay?" Jeremy asked Nessie. Nessie is slow to answer.
"I've been better" She finally says. Jeremy takes a seat next to her and touches her forehead.
"Well it feels like you don't have a fever. Couple under degresses if you ask me.
I'm gonna go get some blankets for you. Maybe even bring your heater down here" Jeremy says worried as he feels Nessie's very cold forehead. Nessie nods as Jeremy leaves towards the stairs to her room.
Jeremy returns with Nessie's oversized furred blanks and covered up Nessie and turns on her heater.
"Thanks. Your the best Jer" She says with this dull tone of voice as Jeremy walks back to his room.
Jeremy becomes more worried as he has plans and will be leaving her soon so he calls a friend.
"Hey. Are you doing anything right now?..."
"It's Carlie. I think she sick or in this weird depression stage. I have something I need to do and I don't wanna leave her by herself like this"
"Alright thanks man"
Nessie heard the entire conversation and starts to feel bad that Jeremy is worried about her. The friend that Jeremy called was Seth. When Seth arrives Jeremy leaves shortly after. When Jeremy is gone Nessie and Seth can really talk about what is happening. Seth becomes just as worried as Jeremy as he been staring at Nessie.
"I can see why Jeremy would be worried. This scene has both of us a bit freaked out" Seth said worried but by his tone of voice, it sounded like he tried to make it a joke.
"Yeah, I know. I heard him"
"What you been doing?"
"Oh, you know just laying here. Thinking why the hell, did I have to like Jacob so much"
"Same old, same old"
Seth's appearance and his personality quickly gets Nessie out of the slump she was in eariler. Which Seth notices.
"If I do die someday it's gonna be alone" Nessie says.
"You are not gonna die"
"Feels like it"
"You-You. I don't really know what to say because its not like you and Samuel ever dated" Seth says. Nessie looks at Seth in shock on how he knew what was going on.
"He told you" She says a bit stunned that Samuel was willing to talk about what happened especially with Seth. Not only Jacob's best friend but Nessie's best friend as well.
"I'm Seth. People tell me everything. Whether I want them to or not" Seth said. Nessie is silent. She lays her head on the couch and rubs her eyes then moves towards her head.
"I think i really liked him" Nessie confesses.
"But not as much as Jacob" Seth said. Knowing exactly how she felt over Jacob.
"No, it's not even close to how I feel about Jacob" Nessie said. Which comes as a repeat since Nessie is constantly always telling Seth that what she feels for Jacob is stronger than what she feels over any guy that she knows.
"That stupid tanned handsome bastard"
"Well, that's new"
"Why can't you guys just stink"
"According to your family. We do"
"Not to me. In fact you guys smell so good" Nessie whined and took a pause then sat up.
"I can't live like this. I mean I can't get myself to be with a human. A vampire can't get themselves to be with me. I'm so close to calling Bonnie to see if she has any cousins that are witches"
"Warlocks"
"What?"
"Technically a male witch is-"
"Seth"
"As you were saying"
"Bonnie told me that they can do a spell that slows down their aging. Bonnie grandmother knows a witch that 100+ years and looks about 32... I sound so stupid"
"Hey. You are not alone. I'm alone too. At least we can be alone together" Seth said in this warm smooth comforting tone that made Nessie smile then she hugged Seth and Seth returned the hug.
"Promise me that your not gonna fall in love and always gonna continue to phase so I can always have you" Nessie said while they we still hugging. Nessie knew nothing of imprinting but when Sam and Paul began to look different and age. Nessie began to ask question causing Jacob to only tell her half the truth to everything that she knows about them which isn't much.
"I promise. And you have to promise me you won't get yourself killed"
"Can't really promise that but I'll try"
"Being able to live forever sounded cool. But now, living forever is not really all I thought it would be" Seth said. Nessie looks up at Seth with half a smile on her face.
"I know right. We're like a horrible sad country song"
"As long as you help me write it with you. Not really that horrible or sad"
"True. Thank you for always knowing what to say to me. Always knowing when I need you. 16 years of this and I've never been really mad at you or anything like that"
"I'll always be here for you no matter what"
"I honestly don't know what I'll do without you. Your my rock, ya know. Every time I fall and right when I think I'm gonna hit the ground. You catch me. You truly are my bestest best friend Seth. I love you so so much" Nessie says and returns back to hugging him and really laying her head on his chest absorbing his worth.
"Yeah, same goes for me too. Your my best friend" Seth says with a disappointing tone to that sentence but followed by "I love you too, Nessie" Seth said with a sad fragile tone with a double meaning behind it.
Seth wrapped around his arms around Nessie and they stayed that way until she feel asleep. Once Seth knew that Nessie was sound asleep. When Nessie woke she told Seth that she was fine now and that he could go home because it was being late. It took Nessie some time to convince Seth to go and as he walked out of the house to and into the streets. Seth took out his phone and began to dial 3 different numbers.
"Hey. What are you girls doing right now?"
"Okay, can you do me a favor?"
"Carlie is not feeling well. She can use some girl time"
"Just bring cookies, ice cream stuff that you girls eat as comfort food.. She having some guy trouble"
"Thanks girls"
After 30 minutes Seth returned back to Jeremy's house. Seth knocked on the door. Nessie answered it and smiled to see that Seth had returned.
"Seth, I told I'm fine"
"I didn't believe which is why-" Seth paused and looked to the right then so did Nessie. Nessie saw her 3 most best girlfriends Claire, Kim and Bonnie sitting on the front porch swing.
"He called" said Claire.
"He said you could use us, girls" Bonnie said.
"And we brought food. And we gonna slumber" Kim said. As all the girl wanted in the house and Nessie giggled and smiled big as they all went to hug her.
*Thank you* Nessie mouthed to Seth.
*Your welcome* Seth mouthed back to her and flashing her his big smile. Seth watching Nessie be happy and feel happy made Seth feel happy. There was no brighter or better joy for him then to see Nessie happy. He would do whatever it takes for her to keep that beautiful smile and that angel like face. He walked away from Jeremy's house so that the girl can have their slumber, he smiling knowing he had cheered her up.
After having one of the best moments that Nessie has ever had with her 3 best girlfriends so goes outside with a phone in her hand to make a call while her friends slept. She called Seth.
"Hey, thanks you know for the girl time. I really need it"
"I never really thanked you for every little thing that you do for me"
"I really am grateful, to just being able to call you my friend. I really do appreciate you Seth, I hope you know that. I love you don't ever forget that"
"Yeah, yeah I'll go to sleep'
"Thank you"
"Well, suck it up cause your gonna hear it a lot now. And hopefully forever"
"Forever. I'll see you tomorrow at school"
