Epilogue
One week later
Construction crews worked to repair the city. Many were army crews working alongside civilian crews. Standing on a hill a man looked over construction plans. He smoked a cigar as he looked out across the city. He wore a well pressed suit. His brown hair was cut into a crew cut. He smiled as he turned to a soldier.
"Were-Vamp crews are coming in to assist with repairs" the man said smiling.
"Thank you sir, the dragon will be delivered to your New York facility" the soldier responded.
"Excellent" the man said as he looked back out across the city.

Nikki stood in a cemetery looking down. Her eyes stared at a tombstone before her. A tear dripped from her eye as she stared at the stone. Kneeling down she sat some flowers at the base of it. Reaching her hand out she ran her hand over her mother's name. Her head slowly turned to see Cale's stone next to it. With her other hand she reached up and rested it over his name. Closing her eyes she inhaled sharply.
"Until we meet again" she said softly.
Reaching into her coat she pulled out a pair of sunglasses. Turning she walked back towards her car. Her mind was a jumble of thoughts and emotions. Two of the most important people in her life both sacrificed themselves to ensure she'd live. Now all she wanted to do was honor their memories. Looking at her car she saw Ashley standing next to it waiting for her. They smiled at one another as she walked up to the car. She pulled her lover into a hung before kissing her. Together they got into the car and drove off back towards their house. As they were driving Ashley reached over and took Nikki's hand into hers. Both looked out across the city as it was being rebuilt.
"Nikki?" Ashley asked looking back over to her girlfriend.
"Hmm" Nikki said glancing over to her briefly.
"Do you think the Death Angels will ever be needed again?" Ashley asked, her eyes focused on her lover.
Nikki glanced at her before looking back out over the city. Slowly she turned the car into the driveway of the mansion. Drake was on the porch grilling dinner for them. The three of them now lived in that house. Slowly she looked over to Ashley who waited on her answer. "There will always be threats presented to humanity. When it is, we'll be there to answer the call" she responded as she reached over and rubbed her cheek. They kissed softly before climbing out of the car to join Drake.

Jade sat on a bed, her eyes focused on Tori who still hadn't woke up. She looked to see at her as she breathed softly. Turning she looked at a broadcast off CNN on her TV. She watched as the anchors talked about the battle with the dragon. She also saw brief clips of her fighting Samuel. There was a knock at the bedroom door making her look back slowly. Standing in the doorway looking at her was Carmilla. The vampire looked at her and then to the TV.
"You know, you should probably shut that shit off" she said walking into the room. She looked down at Tori. "Any change?"
"No, none" Jade said with a shake of her head. She sighed a bit before looking back to Carmilla. "Are you and Summer still going to New York?"
"Yeah, those were Were-Vamp soldiers. There's gotta be a reason they wanted Summer" Carmilla said. She stood next to Jade and slowly looked at Tori. "Jade," she started with a sigh, her hand coming to a rest on Jade's shoulder. "It's been a week, she's healed, she'll wake up".
Jade glanced up to her. "How could you possibly know that?"
"Because," she shrugged. "She has you to come back to".
Jade looked at the vampire who smiled at her. She watched as she turned and walked out of the room. Jade slowly looked back to Tori. Reaching forward she stroked her cheek. Getting up she slowly turned and walked out of the room. She looked to see Carmilla packing a bag with clothes and ammunition. Glancing over she watched as Summer packed another bag. Carmilla, finishing her bag walked over to Jade's side.
"We're leaving soon, thought we'd say bye" Summer said hefting her bag and walking over to Jade.
"More like see you later" the angel said offering a smile.
Carmilla wrapped an arm around Summer. They both looked at Jade who smiled at them both. Slowly she walked forward and hugged them both. They had done a lot for her over the past week. She was sad to part with them, but she knew it wasn't forever.
"Were-Vamp, is most likely a threat now. We might need help stopping them" Carmilla said looking at Jade.
"There is a werewolf and her mate in a small town in upstate New York. It's called Middleton. She'd help" Jade said looking at her.
Carmilla nodded slightly before looking to Summer. Together they both walked out of the house. She was left alone with Tori once more. Turning she walked back to the room that held Tori. Walking in she looked to her lover in the bed. She feared the worst would happen to her. A week and nothing had changed. She prepared to go and take her place next to the werewolf once more. However a knock at the front door stopped her.
Turning she walked back to the door. Looking through the peep hole she arched her eyebrows. Opening the door she looked to see her friends. Beck, Cat, Andre, Trina, and Robbie. Behind them was Tori's parents and her parents. She was happy to see they had survived the attacks. "What are you doing here?" She asked looking at them.
"We came to check on you and Tori" Beck said gaining her attention.
"How did you know?" She asked, her attention turning to her mother.
"I didn't tell them" she said looking at her daughter.
"We saw it on the news girl" Andre said looking at her.
She looked at him before looking around at the group. Slowly she looked back as her wings came out of her back. They spread wide making everyone take a step back. All except her mother. She looked them over before suddenly Cat shot forward. She wrapped her arms around her wings making Jade look at her.
"Yay, there so soft and feathery" Cat squealed.
Jade looked at her and smiled a bit as she looked at Cat. Turning she led them to the room that held Tori. She looked as everyone went in and gathered around Tori. Jade turned to her parents. They looked at her before wrapping her into a hug. Jade smiled, a tear dripping from her eye. Pulling back she wiped the tear away.
"We're so proud of you" her father said smiling at her.
"Thank you" she said before looking back into the room. "She's been like that for a week".
Her mom looked into the room before looking back to Jade. "She's in a coma?" She asked watching her daughter nod. She smiled before grabbing her daughter and hugging her. "She'll wake up" she said to her daughter.
"How do you know?" Jade asked looking to her parents.
"Because, we have faith. We had faith you'd beat the dragon. You just gotta have faith" her father said smiling at her.

Fireflies, the glowing insects that lit the way for my parents to find me now seem to be my beacons in this new world. Humanity has had their eyes opened to new types of immortals. They now fully learned that this world is fully populated with powerful beings. War is on the horizon and for the first time in history humans won't be killing each other. That is something I'll have to face once Tori wakes up. Until then I'll be by her side and then, we can face the threat together.
Jade closed her journal and looked out her window. A breeze gusted by pushing fireflies into the room. She watched as the glowing insects flew to the bed. They hovered over Tori as if they were sentinels. They lit her up, their warm light acting as if it was a blanket for Tori. Slowly Jade got up from her chair and walked over to the bed. Looking at Tori she slowly climbed into bed next to her. Her arm wrapped around Tori. Her eyes looked as the fireflies and the moon made Tori glow.
"I love you Tori, I'll be right here when you wake up" Jade said softly as she kissed Tori's cheek. Slowly she drifted off to sleep, clutching her lover closely.

Mount Olympus
"Sire the ones pure of heart have been uncovered. They defeated Jelico" a shadowed figure said walking up to a throne.
He looked up to see a cloaked figure looking at him. Red glowing eyes stared down at him. The imposing figure looked at him before looking out across his broken temple. Claw marks were visible on many of the pillars. Scorch marks were up walls. One of them had the outline of a female figure. Standing up he looked as the servant bowed. His figure was truly imposing. He had a ebony colored muscular bound figure. His hair was white and spiked up. On his back was a white fur. Under the fur he had black feathered wings. His hand had clawed fingers. His ears were pointed and two fangs protruded from his lips.
Walking down the steps he looked at his servant before looking to his left. There was a broken statue laying on the marble floor. Time and the elements had taken a toll on it however it could be seen it was a woman. He walked over to it and ran his hands over it. The roar of the dragon filled his head as he glanced at the outline. "Humanity will pay for what they did to you" he said in a growling voice. Slowly he looked back to his servant. "Bring it to me" he ordered looking at him.
"But sire, you ordered that it was never to be opened again" the servant said looking back up to the man.
The man shot across the floor and grabbed the servant. He held him off the ground and stared at him. "I do not care, bring it to me" he growled in a deep and powerful voice.
"As you command" the servant said as he was released.
He stood there and waited for five minutes. After that time the servant returned pushing a large obsidian box. Gold was inlaid into it. He looked at the box as he slowly ran his hands over the smooth box. "Persephone was to level the playing field against humanity for my return. She failed and now I have to do it this way" he said running his hands over the box. Suddenly he reared back and kicked the lid off of it. It fell with a loud thud. He looked as hellfire started to glow. Black smoke lifted up above it. "Has the Raven or Yurei been awaken yet?" He asked glancing to his servant.
"No sire" the servant said making him smile.
"Good, had enough trouble from them both" he said staring at the black smoke. "The power from a demon from feudal Japan has been encased in this box. I alone was the only one who could harness this power without a binding contract" he said as the black smoke lifted higher. "Arise, my legions. Arise the dead of this world. The Old God has returned" he shouted his hands going up.
"Your will be done Lord Zeus" the servant said lowering his head.
"No, not Zeus no more" the man said looking back to his servant. "The old gods are gone. I am Raischenzo, lord of the Immortals" he boomed watching as the black cloud shot out around the mountain.
Thunder sounded overhead making him smile as it filled the sky. Suddenly on the other side of the world. Glowing green eyes with slit pupils shot open.
