A/N: Fourteenth chapter! *pant pant*
Disclaimer: I do not own Willy Wonka, because that would mean I would have to own Johnny Depp, which, alas, I do not. :'(
Cotton Candy Sheep (?)
As soon as the door opened, Veruca lunged forward, trying to run straight into the room, but her father grabbed her shoulders, and hissed, "Veruca, behave yourself."
She reluctantly nodded, and waited until Willy walked out to follow him.
The group walked into the vibrant pink and green room. The floor that they could see was comprised of a series of catwalks and platforms.
Beneath the catwalks, about fifty feet down, was a pile of what looked (and smelled) like old pink and green cotton candy.
The over-whelming smell of the spun sugar in the air caused Charlie to cough a little when he walked in, and Toffee patted his back until he stopped.
A loud 'baaaaaaah' drew the groups attention from the cotton-candy-covered floor to a small paddock.
Inside was what Toffee could only assume was a large group of (you guessed it) pink and green colored sheep.
Veruca smiled, and said to her father, "Pink sheep!"
Willy betrayed a small smile, and said, "No, cotton-candy sheep."
Toffee smiled along with Charlie.
Mr. Salt merely raised and eyebrow, and said, "Mr. Wonka, what level of genetic-manipulation are you working with?"
Willy merely laughed, and said, "Ha ha, none, ha, you're really weird!"
Toffee laughed openly, and Mr. Teavee rolled his eyes.
Veruca looked at her father, and said, "Daddy, I want a sheep."
Mr. Salt said with an extremely fake smile, "Alright, Veruca, when we get home, I will find you a sheep."
Veruca frowned, and said, "I don't want any old sheep, I want a cotton-candy sheep!"
Mr. Salt frowned, and said, "Veruca darling, you have many marvelous pets at home."
The little brat stomped her foot on the metal catwalk, and yelled, "All I have at home are three dogs, and four cats, and six gerbils, a pony, and canary, and a silly old hamster! I WANT a SHEEP!"
Mr. Salt frowned again, and said, "Alright, darling, I'll get you a sheep."
He turned to Willy, and said, "Mr. Wonka, name your price."
Willy held out his gloved hands in a surrender gesture, and said, "Fine. One sheep. Free of charge."
Toffee looked at Willy in confusion, but Willy placed one gloved finger over his lips and winked.
Veruca turned to Willy, and said, "Can I pick one?"
Willy smiled, and said, "Sure."
Veruca flashed him her most dazzling (fake) smile, and waited as he unlocked the paddock door.
He finally opened the gate, closing it fast behind her when she walked inside.
Veruca walked slowly around the paddock, inspecting the sheep.
What she didn't notice was that the sheep were eying her suspiciously.
Toffee whispered to Willy, "Why are they looking at her like that?"
Willy whispered back, "That's because they're not used to humans being in their pen."
Inside said pen, Veruca finally chose one, then walked towards the poor victim.
She held out her arms, and said, "I choose you."
The sheep had enough. It charged at Veruca, bleating and snorting. She screamed, and tried to scurry away as it chased her through the paddock.
A few seconds later, it had easily cornered her.
Veruca held out her hand, and said, "Shhh... come on."
The sheep blinked once, and charged again.
Veruca screamed, and held her hands in front of her face.
It butted her in the chest, tipping her over the railing, into the rotting cotton-candy below.
Mr. Salt rattled the paddock gate, yelling, "Veruca!"
Her voice echoed from the ground, "Daddy! It's getting stuck in my mink! DADDY!"
Willy gently moved Mr. Salt out of the way, and opened the gate again. Mr. Salt nearly trampled Willy to get into the paddock.
The sheep snorted, and eyed Mr. Salt as he leaned over the railing.
Two sheep ganged up on Veruca's father, and butted his back over the edge.
Mr. Salt screamed as he hit the layer of cotton-candy.
Willy laughed, and called an Oompa-Loompa to the group. He bent over, and said, "Get a small team to get them out of there, 'kay?"
The assistant nodded, and walked off to gather a rescue team.
Mike chimed in, in his dull voice, and said, "Why did the sheep attack those two, but not the Oompa-Loompas?"
Willy turned to Mike, and said, "You really shouldn't mumble, it's really starting to bum me out."
He turned to the rest of the group; now only comprised of the Teavees, and Toffee and Charlie; and said, "Alright, let's get moving!"
The group filed into the elevator; which was far more spacious now that they were missing the Salts; and looked at Willy.
Mike said, "I wanna pick a room."
Willy smiled, and said, "Why not."
Mike examined the wall, then pressed a button labeled, "Television Room".
The elevator shot off, and in a short amount of time, they had reached another room.
