A/N: Okay this is the last chapter I have written, BUT, that does not mean that the story is over. I still have, like, about four more chapters planned, so just hold tight.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
Up and Out
Willy grabbed Charlie's hand, and started shaking it violently, while babbling, "I knew it was going to be you, right from the beginning! I really did! And now, we musn't dilly, or dally, because we have a great deal of things to do, and not a lot of time, so we've got to get moving!"
He dropped Charlie's hand, then walked towards the elevator, still talking, "Luckily we have the Great Glass Elevator to speed things along!"
Toffee was glad to see that he didn't run into the glass door again.
Charlie and Toffee followed Willy into the elevator, and smiled as Willy pressed a small red-rimmed button.
Toffee frowned, and said with a bit of concern, "What's that room?"
Willy smiled a mysterious smile, and said, "Hold on." as the elevator began shooting straight up.
Willy looked up, and said, "We're going to have to get a lot faster, otherwise we'll never break through!"
Toffee looked at him in shock, and said, "What?"
Willy said with that odd smile, "I'm been itching to press that button for years! Well, here we go! Up and out!"
Toffee stared at him with wide eyes, and said, "But you don't really mean...?"
Willy laughed hysterically, "Yeah I do!"
Toffee yelled desperately, "But it's made of glass! It will shatter into a million pieces!"
But Willy just responded with hysterical laughs, and Toffee grabbed Charlie as they hurtled closer and closer to what seemed to be their doom.
Instead, the elevator crashed through the covering on the factory's largest pipe, causing Toffee to let out a small scream, and clutch Charlie closer to herself.
When Toffee saw that they had safely exited the factory without as much as a scratch on the glass, she let out a nervous laugh.
Charlie pointed at the ground, and said, "Look! There's the other children!"
Willy pressed a few buttons, causing them to fly a little closer.
They saw Augustus walking with his mother. Augustus was too busy licking the enormous quantities of of chocolate off of his hands. His mother was slapping his hands, and probably telling him to stop, but Augustus would just stick his hands back into his mouth.
Violet was walking next to her mother, who was holding the collar of her coat up close to her face to conceal the quite obvious fact that she was now purple. Violet kept stifling laughter underneath her hands, but her mother would snap at her, and keep walking.
Veruca was walking next to her father, wearing her ruined, sickly pink mink. She was pointing up at the elevator, and saying something, probably the fact that she wanted one, but her father snapped something at her that she really didn't like, but kept walking.
Mike's father was walking alone, clutching the chocolate bar that his son had turned into, occasionally taking guilty bites out of it, and muttering something to himself.
Willy pressed a few buttons, and flew right over Toffee and Charlie's house.
Toffee frowned, and said, "How do you know where we live?"
Willy shrugged, and (not wanting to reveal that he watched her walk home from work) said, "News report."
Toffee squinted, and said, "Fine."
They flew over their house, then started to drop a little too fast.
Toffee said, "Um, we're going to hit the ROOF! WE'RE GOING TO HIT TH-" as they crashed through the roof of the Bucket home.
A/N: Sorry this one took so long. I've run out of chapters in my notebook, so the next chapter is going to be completely the first draft.
