Chapter 3 of Don't do it Tobey!

Nothing seem to matter to him anymore. Nothing.

What is the point? What is the point of constantly causing chaos in the city when it comes to the same results every single time? What is the point of constructing huge robots only to have them destroyed over and over again by the only girl he loves? His fascination towards the machines is beginning to diminish, mostly because his social life has driven to an all-time low. It's getting harder to bear every single passing day. He tried consulting someone, a therapist perhaps, or maybe a psychologist? Yet when his mom was on the phone the other person On The line hung up. Before he did Tobey could hear the guy saying "No! I won't have him! I don't want my company destroyed by that stupid blonde!" His mother was stunned by his words. He's beginning to ask the question, should he do it?

Should he do it?

Should I do it?

Tobey was in a dark secluded closet in the school. His legs aré crossed and sitting on the cold floor. He was not looking up, he was looking down. His thoughts were running, and he was asking that question again. By the way, this Is after School hours and no student (except him) Is in the building. The time Is 3:40 P.M.

"I don't even know why I'm in here. I just hope no one finds me here."

This Is not the first time he went into a dark closet and closed the door. He has done this for the past few days and he managed not to get caught. Whenever he arrives home late he tells his mother that he "had detention" or "he just decided to walk somewhere To buy something." If he keeps this up, his mother might suspect something so eventually he'll just go home.

"Bob, are you okay?"

Bob squeaked with a bit of frustration, his head hurts. He was lying in bed with a blanket, his mini bed next to Becky.

"Oh right of course, you do not look functional."

Becky hoped that Bob would recover quickly from his fever, or is it a cold? Whatever does not matter. She wanted him in case of another villainous attack in Fair City. Becky is able to defeat villains without Bobs assistance, but considering their obvious fight crime-fighting relationship, Becky still needed Bob.

Another villainous attack, hm.

Becky had a feeling inside of her that put her on unrest, as if some warning that she should pay attention too. Something that has been going for too much time it seems.

Bob squeaked.

Your hungry Bob?

He nodded, after sneezing in the opposite direction.

"Well what do you want?"

Bob: "a banana."

Becky: "Oh yes the usual ."

Before Becky could go to the kitchen she decided to tell Bob that she would get him a banana later. Bob said that was alright, though in reality when she inspected the kitchen there was no bananas left! Becky walked down the stairs and saw her Dad in the Kitchen reading something. He shouted to her from the kitchen.

"Becky! Have you read the news on the latest villainous statistics attack? This one involves that blonde kid named Tobey again."

Becky immediately turned around.

"Yes I have read tha –

Whilst looking at the newspaper ….

"Holy cow! 18 million dollars! That's heavy. Hey, imagine we won that type of lottery."

Becky: "That would be-"

"Why, I'll spend it on a million dollar vacation involving a cruise ship, Island beach resort, expensive restaurants, and a tiki bar."

Becky: "A tiki bar?"

"Don't laugh Becky."

Becky: "No Its not that I'm laughing- "

"Ah! Almost forgot The cómics! Those things aré always fun to read!"

He flipped several pages, before finding some Snoopie Dog and Garfield cómics.

Becky: "Dad!"

Yes?

Becky: "Where did you get that newspaper?"

"Um, delivery boy I guess."

Becky knew that Bob would want that banana soon. Looks like she'll have to go to the supermarket and purchase a bunch.

Becky: "Dad, I need some money."

"For What?"

"To buy something at the supermarket, Bob needs it."

He assumed It was medication, so he decided to give her the offer.

"Sure sweetie"

He walked towards Becky and gave her three dóllars.

Becky: "Thanks Dad. I'll be back soon."

Becky departed from her home and began walking on the sidewalk, already missing having Bob walking with her. He's been sick for only two days, and luckily no villain has attacked yet, because fighting without Bob just usually does not feel right. Suddenly, Becky decided to check out the área where she last fighted (and deféated) Tobey's robots. She didn't know why she had a sudden urge to do so, perhaps she wanted To see If it the scene was all fixed.

She was at the park, and when no one was looking she dodged into a bush and transformed "Word Up!"

In less than two seconds she was at the scene where the damage was "$18 million dóllars" as that article claimed. Most of the blocks looked okay, she had a couple handwaves from passing citizens, they looked charmed. Wordgirl waved back at them. She looked around, and saw some Windows that still looked broken, not To mention a car was still upside down on 13th street. That street actually looked bad and was it was closed. She saw several construction workers and a steamroller. Wordgirl decided to go talk to one of them.

"Hello"

"Ah! What?! Whos-

The construction worker was surprised to see Wordgirl standing right next To him.

"Wordgirl?"

"Yup thats me."

"Well Hello, Its a pleasure To see you."

Wordgirl looked at his name tag, it read "Tom".

"Uh listen "Tom" I have a question."

"Regarding the destruction here?"

Wordgirl: "Um yes actually. I already know the total damage and stuff but how long have you been working here?"

"Well I started just today, but we had previóus crew members working on 14th, 15th, 16th street and Park Avenue. One of them had to replace a tree with another tree."

Wordgirl: "What about the Windows?"

"I don't know about that."

Wordgirl: "Ah."

"We have it all Pretty much cleared for the most part, this particular street here still needs attention. Damn cars were difficult."

Wordgirl: "I saw one on a roof"

Tom: "REALLY?"

Wordgirl: "Yup"

Tom: "Well I guess someone will have To care of that, perhaps a huge crane will get it down."

Wordgirl did not want to get the car and Bring it down herself, she didn't feel like doing it so she didn't say To him that she would Bring it down. In fact, now that she mentioned that crushed car on the roof Wordgirl was afraid Tom would tell her To Bring it down herself To save them the dirty work. Now it was a good time To get those bananas.

Wordgirl: "Well it was nice talking to you but I gotta go now. Some errands I got to care of."

Tom: "Okay Wordgirl."

In less than three seconds, she arrived at the grocery store. It only took three minutes to purchase the product she needed. By then she arrived home, quickly changing back to Becky behind a tree when no one was looking .

"Hey Bob, I got you the bana-*"

Bob was sleeping safe and sound.

Becky: "Well I guess I'll have to wait for him to wake up."

That's the end of this chapter. So glad to finally continue my long abandoned fanfiction stories. Well, what do you think?
