Pleas pleas pleas forgive me! But me and Windgirl20 and had writers block and couldn't figure out what the rest of this chapter could be about. Besides I am soon starting school and Windgirl had her exams, and I believe that she now has started summer Holliday. If you have any ideas say it! We're stuck, but I have PM'ed her a idea but haven't heard anything from her :(
I strongly advice younger and easily scared don't read this chapter! It is kind of creepy...
Xoxoxo
It was almost like waking up from a dream. Because one minuet everything's black and the next moment I'm walking along with Jake and Carrie beside me. In normal clothes. In a park as. I don't remember going to a park... It doesn't matter though, for some reason it doesn't matter. Because somehow everything is blissful for once, no matter what happened before, it hasn't happened in this version of reality...
What had happened?..
Jake and Carrie are laughing about a picture on Carries phone and realising that I must have been looking really stupid just looking straight ahead, I shook my head, engaging in whatever conversation Jake and Carrie were holding. Where was Oscar?
Why couldn't I remember anything was I ill?!
Looking over Carries shoulder I suddenly head a noise, my spy senses waking themselves up as I turned. I half hoped it was Oscar but there was nothing there. Jake and Carrie were laughing and running out, Jake somehow tagging Carrie? They were acting like children... They were children I supposed. Just spies... This was confusing me, something wasn't-isn't right...
Oh God what's happening to me?! Focusing on anything but my sense of unease, I tried to concentrate on the weather. The sun was out and there was a slight breeze in the air, the breeze was warm but... Suddenly too warm like it was suffocating... I carried on walking, following Jake and Carrie as they ran...
THAT NOISE?! There was-is! WAS. Something, something behind me... Getting louder, closer. I twisted round, my breath catching but there was nothing there. I'm scared now, really properly scared... So I ran. But I don't run. I never run from my fears so why, why now can't I stop my legs?! Why? And suddenly the noise is there again, closer, closer- I don't even know what the sound is but it's louder, more high pitched, next to my ear. I screamed-scream-screaming, because I still am, I'm still screaming as I turn, knowing there's nothing there.
And then I get it. Too late. Too slow Rose...
Carrie and Jake haven't even stopped, they're still running, laughing except now the laugh sounds sickly and sweet making me feel nauseous until I'm ready to throw up. The noise deepens it pitch, crashing from the front and the high pitch squealing laugh from behind me explodes, crashing together, clashing together but inside my head..!
Oh my head...
A sharp pain suddenly hissed through, vibrating around my skull as I screamed, falling to my knees, the warm breeze turning into a sharp cold whip around me, tearing at my bare skin. The crashing noise persisted but suddenly the laughing stopped I looked up to see Carrie and Jake standing still, facing me and smiling wildly.
It was creepy, I'm in agony and they're still there... Almost possessed... Not moving...
There was a figure behind them and he was holding something in his hands- No something in each hand. They looked like bars but with spikes on... And so I knelt there, mouth open, wide eyed. Because I knew what was about to happen. But I couldn't move. I couldn't do anything as I witnessed the inevitable horror before me. The figure pushed the spikes into Carrie and Jake's bodies, not fast but slow so I could hear the flesh stretching and ripping apart, the veins squeezed and burst and the bones crack and snap, the jagged edges puncturing the skin. I saw the blood starting to pour out of Carrie and Jake's forever smiling mouths, trickling like a waterfall, the pressure rising as it started pouring out of their ears and nose as well and eventually squirting through their eye sockets. The fell to the ground like statues, blood surrounding the ground around them as I clamped my hand over my mouth, sobbing.
The figure's walking towards me now, calmly, I'm trying to run but I can't, I just can't stop crying, fighting nausea, thrashing and screaming again and again...
And now I see, as the figure's walking into the light, I know the features, the body language, the outline of the hair, body and now facial features...
It's Oscar...
And suddenly everything I thought was once true has shattered around me. He's dropping the spikes, still dripping with crimson as his hand's drift foreword. I sob in a helpless attempt but just as I think he may see me as Rose, the girl he likes, his best friend, someone he swore he'd protect, his hand's suddenly change position and he grabs me roughly by the neck. He's strangling me and I can't move, the only sounds I'm making, helpless coughs and splutters. His face is etched with a grin and I can feel vomit rising from my throat as my ears pop, my eyeballs strained...
He's going to kill me...
And then all of a sudden his mouth is next to my ear, intensifying the grip on my throat and he's hissing something that I can only just catch, spit flicking onto the inside of my blocked ear.
"You... Did... This,"
And the look of determination written across his face tells me that he's right, he's so right... And I'm so de-
Awake. My eyes flickering open, adjusting to the bright lights around me, my hands instantly going to my unscratched neck and my head rising slightly so I'm away from the piercing white glare of the light and straight into the face of...
Oscar.
And I scream.
