We were walking towards Stella's office. Everyone was ready to risk everything to make this mission a success.
"Is it long?" Aneisha whispered and looked at Oscar. Oscar touched his ear piece and spoke to Rose.
"Rose says she is in the western wing," Oscar said.
"Why would she be over there? Her office are in the eastern wing," Zoe asked.
"I don't know..." Oscar said and we continued down hallways.
"She's moving again," we heard Rose say. "Fourth floor and there are many people,"
"She's coming towards us," Oscar realized, and everyone moved with utter precaution.
It was nerve-racking for the agents to be so alert all the time. After a good ten minutes they heard Tom speak.
"Guys, she's alone now and hundred meters away from you," he said.
"We see her," Dan spoke quietly.
"Stella, we know what you did. We know that you killed Jake Gupta," Carrie accused.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Stella said faking surprised.
"Give it a break! If you don't do anything, then we're going to do it. We'll alert the media about this whole incident," Carrie continued.
"No you wouldn't. If you did that meant risking your identities and surly, putting you all at risk," she said not felling threatened.
"You're choice, but watch us," Oscar said as Stella walked past us.
"You sure you want to go to the media?" Edward asked.
"We're sure," everyone said.
"If it means bringing justice then it's out of the question," Aneisha said.
"Then let me call the news station and set up a press conference," Edward said picking up his phone.
Ten minutes later and Edward had called every single news station in London.
"Everyone is going to meet in the press room, here at HQ," he said.
"When dad?" Oscar asked.
"In ten minutes, and the press release is at noon," Edward said.
"We're meeting you there, and I think that we should go out with this. Sorry Edward," Rose said through comms.
"Non offence taken Rose, and I have to agree," Edward said and the agents nodded.
At noon exactly the seven spies walked onto the stage for the press release. The media crew were shocked when they saw seven children coming, and the cameras snapped. "I'm junior agent Zoe," Zoe started talking into the microphone.
"I'm junior agent Aneisha Jones," Aneisha said next and so it continued.
"I'm agent Rose Gupta," Rose finished.
"We have called to this press conference because earlier chief agent Stella Knight imprisoned two agents, accusing them of killing a underage male," Oscar started waiting to let it sink in. "She knew it was illegal for the agents she imprisoned to talk to the inmate, yet she ordered it," Oscar said stepping back.
"Now we need your help to tell the story and bring justice to this country," Rose said and the journalists started to murmur.
"Questions?" Rose asked.
"The sun. How can we know that you're not lying? Your just children," the reporter said and a few agreed.
"Us seven have alone stopped SKUL and KORPS in the past six years, risking our lives so that you all don't need to worry about another ice age, world destruction or corruption," Oscar told everyone.
"We have protected this country in secrecy for the past six years, and all we want is your trust. We ask you all to do the right thing and help us putting Stella Knight to justice," Aneisha said.
"Daily Express. What do you want us to do?"
"Print the story, run it on the news, and let everyone know," Tom said glad that they were getting help. After some more questions they ended it thanking for their help.
"That was great agents. I think everyone should head home and we'll se what tomorrow brings," Edward said. "Be careful. Everyone knows who you are now," he advised.
That evening
Dan's POV
"Dan! You're on the telly!" my ten year old little sister Ruby shouted. I loved her to pieces, but she could be a little intense.
"What are you talking about Ruby? Dan isn't on the telly, you shouldn't make stuff like that up," my mom said scolding.
"It's true mom," I told her.
She stretched for the remote and turned it over to BBC.
"Earlier today seven MI9 agent went out to the media, releasing their identities to bring chief agent Stella Knight to justice after she imprisoned to agent," the news crew said while a video of us were rolling.
"Some of the agents have worked for MI9 for six years, and they say they have saved the world several times," they continued.
"See, that's you," Ruby said pointing at the telly.
"Why didn't you say anything Dan?" mom questioned.
"I couldn't. That's the thing," I defended.
"Why going to the media?" mom questioned.
"To show Stella we're serious about this. I can't tell you much, but we confronted her earlier and she told us she didn't think we would go to the media. We did it to show we're serious, and we need to save this organization," I finished.
Next day at HQ
No one's POV
"How was your meet with parents yesterday?" Tom wondered.
"Questions, frustrations and a hell," Tom said.
"Amen," everyone agreed.
"And they asked if I was the one hacking into NASA... Ups," Tom said with a smile and we all laughed.
"It went well," Oscar smiled.
"Shush you," Aneisha said pulling a face. "My aunt was about to throw a fit," she continued.
Edward walked into HQ with a bright smile on his face.
"Good news agents. The head of MI9 has authorized us to arrest Stella with the help of some agents she know are on our side.
"Then what are we waiting on?" Dan asked and everyone stood up.
Everyone stood outside of Stella's office not including Tom and Rose, who were back at HQ. They had with them three MI9 agents. When Edward gave the signal they ran into the office taking Stella by surprise. "Stella Knight. You're arrested for leaking information in the agency, imprisoning agents based on guesses and giving orders you know was against protocol," Oscar said felling very satisfied when they handcuffed Stella. "This isn't over!" she growled when she were taken out of there. "But it is," Carrie smiled and gave Oscar and high five.
They had given the normal people an insight in what a spy organization were doing. They had arrested the chief agent to save MI9 and after some thorough investigation, almost everything would go back to normal. But just almost!
Sorry sorry! There is no excuse to why I haven't updated! I have been busy and just didn't have inspiration. Also I have written -but not published- some High School Musical (Owned by Disney!) fanfictions. I didn't have inspiration to finish this, but when I read you're reviews it made me realise that you all were really liking this story and still reading it. I can't thank you enough! I still haven't heard from my co-writer Windgirl20 but I assume she just have been busy and didn't have time anymore.
I want to thank each and everyone of you who have read, reviewed, favourite/followed this story and me! I am sad to announce that I'm leaving the MI High fandom/community to join High School Musical. As you might have noticed I have changed my pen name from M.I HighFan2000 to FreeFlyingWriter. I will publish the High School Musical stories on this account, so feel free read it and vote on what my first story should be. I am posting a one-shot just to "enter" the fandom.
Again thank you all for the support I have gotten since I started way back in December 2013 with the story Goodbye my Rose. You have all been amazing, and so supportive even when I was doubting myself. It will be an experience I will never forget (and don't experience again) So again thank you for everything!
