Chapter 22
"Mark" Jacob, Sam and Samantha, said all at once. They even saw Major Davis and Mark wife Christine there
"Major Davis care to explain?" Jack asked
"Yes sir, General Hammond spoke to the president after Dr Carter was clone, he had a back round check on Mark and his family before giving them full clearance about what you all do"
"Well we should give him a call later and thank him" Jack said
"I'll leave you all to talk, I needed to take these files to the general" then he walk out the door.
Mark and Christine look at Sam and Samantha, they were still shock with what they were being told.
"Sam"
"Yes Mark" he open his mouth then close it again
"Mark, I'm the clone if you wondering"
"Oh… well this is weird?"
"Ya think" Sam and Samantha said at the same time. Then he look at his father who was smiling at what Sam and Samantha just said
"Dad"
"Mark"
"I'm shock with what been happening to you and Sam in the last seven years"
"How do you feel about what Sam and Jacob do?" Jack asked
"I knew the reason why Sam join the air force… but what she been doing now it incredible, my sister a hero"
"That she is and much more" Daniel said
"Your Dr Daniel Jackson"
"Yes I am and this is Teal'c, Cassie, Janet Fraser our CMO, Jack and Jon, Jack clone"
"I know Major Davis told me every thing, the NID, the trust, every thing"
"Sam what is like to have a clone?" Christine asked
"Strange but it is some thing I'll have to get use to like with Jack and Jon"
"Ok… dad what is like to have Selmac in side of you?" Christine asked
"Good, she was the one who bug me into mending fences with Mark" he said smiling
"Well it is good to know that those fences are mended" Mark said looking at his father
"True Selmac was right, I did decided to do some thing about it before it was to late, she give me… us a second chance and I'm take that change to mend those fences"
"Well I'm please"
"Well Mark since you and Christine are here, Jack and I are getting married"
"What, your joking" Sam showed him her ring
"Wow that must of cost a lot of money," Christine said
"She worth it and much more" Jack said
"Congratulation Sam, Jack, the kids would be happy that you have found happiness"
"Thanks… Mark aren't you happy for Jack and me?"
"Ah yeah I'm shock but happy for you" Mark said
"Thanks"
"All of this… is there any more surprises we should know about?" Christine asked
"Jon and I are getting married" Samantha said
"You two?" they both nodded and Samantha showed them her ring.
"Wow, so what the plan now?"
"We are planing of getting married in three weeks and it going to be a double wedding"
"Double wedding"
"Yes, it one way for us to save money, we just going to have close family and friends there"
"Ok so where is the wedding being held?"
"At the air force academy church"
"Ok, reception?"
"At the academy and there will be security detail since it going to be a small one and if the NID finds out, who knows they might try to get to us on our wedding day" Jack said
"I under stand"
"Come with me and I'll show you guys around" Cassie said
"Are you sure it ok?" Mark asked
"Yes since you know about the SGC and we will meet you guys in the rec room" Jack said
"No Cassie, I'll show them," Sam said
"I'll come with you" Samantha said
"Ok" then the four walk out of the room talking.
"I hope Mark can handle Two Sam talking" Jon said
"I think he can handle it, now the wedding plans" Jack said
They talk about the wedding plans while Sam and Samantha showed Mark and Christine around. Hour later they all meet in the mess hall where they all talk till Major Davis walk in and over to them.
"Mr and Mrs Carter"
"We know"
They stood up and hug Jacob, Sam and Samantha, then they held onto each other hands and Major Davis put his hand on to Mark shoulder
"See you in three weeks" Jacob said
"We will be here" then they were beams away.
"So how the wedding plans coming along?" Sam asked
They talk for the next hour before they went their separate ways for the night.
The next day Sam and Samantha look on the Internet to find their wedding dresses. When they found what they were looking for they were happy and please that there was a shop in Colorado Springs. Then they look at tiaras they check out different web sites till they found one where it was one that is the same and they got it in yellow gold and in sliver.
So They brought them their and then Once that was sorted out they sort out bridesmaid dresses and their head piece and shoes. Once they got them sorted out it was lunchtime. So they went to get some lunch and join the others.
That afternoon Sam was in the control room doing a computer diagnosis while Samantha was in Sam lab working. Jack and Jon were playing games while Jacob was helping Daniel out with some translations.
The next morning Sam, Janet and Cassie went into town to the bridal shop where they were checking out the dresses. Sam brought two dresses that are the same. When Sam try her dress on, it fitted, which made her happy. When she walk out of the dressing rooms, Jacob was shock when he saw what she was wearing
"Well what do you think dad?"
"Sam you look beautiful"
"Thanks" she said smiling.
Then she walk back into changing room where she got change back into her street clothes. Once change and the dress was in the bag. She picks it up and walk out and she walk over and pick up the second dress then she walked up to the counter and put them both on it.
After she paid for the dresses, she walked out with Janet, Cassie and Jacob. They got into the SUV and drove to a shoe shop which was in town. When they got to the shop and park the truck, they got out and walk in side to buy both wedding and bride maid shoes.
After they brought their shoes, they got back into the SUV and went to 'Slayton's' restaurant where they were meeting Jack, Jon, Samantha, Daniel and Teal'c for lunch. When they park the SUV, they notice Jack tuck and a car next to Jack truck. They saw SG13 in there; they gave them a wave after Sam and the others got out.
They walk in side with SG3 in tow. SG3 sat at another table while Sam and the others walk over to one of the big tables to see Jake and the others there. Sam gave Jack a kiss before siting down.
"How was shopping?"
"Good I got the wedding dresses"
"Cool" They talk and order lunch.
Hour and half later they walk out side and got back into their SUV and trucks, then they drove back to the SGC. When they got there, Cassie and Janet took the dresses and shoes in to Cassie room, then they went to see what the others were up to. They all were in the rec room watching an episode of MacGyver, so they found a spot to sit and watch the show for the rest of the afternoon.
The next morning they all were in the gym working out for couple of hours before having shower and then having breakfast. After breakfast Jon, Daniel, and Teal'c went out to do some shopping and for them to get tux sorted out for the wedding.
While they were busy in town Sam was called to the alpha site since they were having problems with the computers and had to use the emergency back up to dial earth. Since Samantha didn't have any thing to do she went with Sam so she could help out.
They were away all day fixing the problems. Jack received two memos so since he had nothing else to do, he sat in the mess hall reading them while eating pie.
The next morning Hammond called SG1 to the briefing room, when they walk in and sat down they waited for him, when he walk out of his office, he look at them.
"Sir is every thing ok?" Sam asked
"No SG15 is hour over de to report in, they were at a meet and greet yesterday, some thing must of gone wrong, that is why I'm sending you SG3 and five as back up, you leave soon as you are geared up"
"Yes sir"
"George can we help" they turn to see Jacob, Jon and Samantha in the doorway
"Well… sure, go and get geared up, dismiss"
"Yes sir" Jon said grinning Then they all walk out of the briefing room and walk down to the locker room.
Fifteen minutes later SG1, 3, 5 Jacob, Jon and Samantha step through the gate after a 'MALP' went through first to see if it was all clear. When it was they walk up the ramp and step through to the other side.
Jack got SG5 to hold the gate then he got SG1 to go first with Jon, Samantha and Jacob following few minutes later then SG5 for back up. They walk to the village when they got close they stop and hid behind some trees when they saw Jaffa walking their way
"Head up, we got Jaffa in the area" Jack said quietly over the radio.
When the jaffa patrol walk pass them, they waited then they carefully work their way ford till they got to the edge of the village. Jack got his scope out and see if he could spot any of the SG15, when he did, he sent hand signals to the others then they spread out around the village.
While they were doing that Jacob, Jon and Samantha showed up. He told them where SG15 is and where the rest of SG1 is. Then he told them where to go. So they spread out them selves. When SG3 showed up a cargo ship showed up. They look to see if they could see whom the goa'uld is when they saw it was Baal they were wondering what he wants.
They saw him walk over to SG15 with two jaffa's with him while the other jaffas were holding all the villagers together. Jack knew Sam was the closest to where SG15 is, so she could hear every thing that was said,
"Well, well I see we got tauri here, I guest that there are others here?"
"There are no others here my lord," one of the jaffa said
"I see, well then we will wait till others come to rescues these four, in the mean time" then he raised his hand device and put it close to the colonel of SG15 head when he heard
"Hey Baal pick on some one your own size" jack and the others were shock when they heard Sam voice then they saw her walk out from where she was.
"Who are you?" Sam walk over to Baal while the jaffa pointed their staff weapons at her Jack and other watch and wondering what she was up to
" They won't work on me" when she was close she turn to look at SG15 who was looking at her
"Why do we always have to save you guys, this is getting really old you know?" she gave them a wink and they smile at her, then she turn to Baal
"Why are you here?"
"My senses have pick up large quality of naqadah the planet"
"And let me guest you going to use these people as slaves"
"Yes"
"You are not going to use any of them and you're an idiot"
"Who are you?"
Sam look at him then he gave them an order then they fire their staff weapons Sam. They were all shock to see the staff blast bounce off Sam and hitting Baal, one in the face and the other in the chest then he collapsed on the ground. Sam walk over to Baal and rolled him over and she removed all the devices from him then she stood up
"Lower your weapons, Baal is dead"
"We will put him in his scatophagous and he will rise again" Sam looked at the jaffa
"Baal is not a god, you think he is powerful because he can use these devices, I can use these devices also and I don't have a snake in my head"
"You lie" one of them said
Sam put the hand device on her hand then she raised it and made the center piece glow. They were shock, Sam lower her hand
"When you fired you staff weapons at me, did you see a shield devices on my arms?" they look at Sam arms
"No, what magic to you proses?"
"None, it a gift from the ancients"
"Who are they?"
"The builders of the stargates"
"You lie" then the jaffa fired his weapon at Sam only to have it bounce off her and hit the guy in the shoulder. Which knock him to the ground.
"It the truth, the ancients were in this galaxy thousands of years ago, long before the goa'uld show up"
"Are you one of them?"
"Only in my gene, you are all free"
"Since you killed Baal we will serve Anubis?"
"Have you seen Anubis face?" she look at them
"Have you seen him heal some one with his own hands, not a healing device"
"Can you?"
"Yes, let be prove to you how powerful I am" Sam step over to where the wounded jaffa is.
"My symboite will heal me"
Sam remove the top garment of the Jaffa, then she put her hand over the wound and close her eyes for few seconds then she open her eyes and move her hand away. The jaffa was shock
"She healed me with her own hands"
"Now you seen what I can do, I'm going to ask one last time, lower your weapons" first prime of Baal through his weapon down then the others did.
"Thank you… your zat"
Sam held out her hand and the first prime pass Sam his zat. She opens it up and fired it three times then close it and passes it back
"It over, you are free, go home… as for Anubis, don't trust him, I've seen him send out his new super solider to kill your own brothers and sisters… and children"
"That not true?"
"It is, I've seen the blood shied with my own eyes and I survive where hundreds didn't. now this war has got to end before more bothers and sisters are killed… the choice is yours" then Sam radio cracked and they all heard
"colonel the stargate has activated"
"copy that, it could be General Hammond" Jack said
"who is that?" he look at Sam radio
"You will find out one day"
"colonel get out of there it a super solider, he heading you way"
"Copy that, keep out of sight"
"Yes sir"
"Anubis has double cross Baal, he here to kill Baal and any one else" then she turn and started untiring SG15, once done she look at them all
"I'm going to stop that super solider, I'm going to be using your cargo ship"
Then she ran over to the ship and got into it then they heard the engines start up and they saw Sam take off. They all watch Sam leave
"Who is she, she will get her self killed"
"She wont" the colonel said
"How do you know this?"
"I know her, all we can do is wait for her return"
