Chapter 32
After lunch SG1, Sam and Jon beam aboard Promethis. Then they watch as the ship headed down to Antarctica.
When the ship shop over the spot. Sam was in the ring room. She push the button then she heard humming noise, then she return back to the bridge where they saw on the monitor a white light leaving the ship, hitting the surface and seeing steam coming from the surface. It was like that for few minutes then it stops.
"Let's go and see what down there" jack said before walking off the bridge.
They walk to where the ring room is and remove the clips from the rings and move every thing out of the way then they step in the middle and Jack gave the airmen the nod. He presses the buttons then they were rings down to the Cavan. They turn their torches on and walk into the Cavan. They look every where as they walk till they saw a chamber, then they walk over to where the chair is
"Daniel what do you think this place is?"
"Well it to small to be Atlantis, it think it more of an out post" They look around the room for a few minutes
"Daniel I found some writing" Jon said Daniel walk over to one of the walls and look at it
"This is some sort of gate address"
"I can see that, but there is seven" Sam walk over and take a look
"I know but as you can see there is one missing"
"Daniel" he turned and looked at her
"Sam"
"Step back" he step back and look at the wall
"The missing gate symbol… the address is backwards with earth point of origin up side down"
"Atlantis?" Sam asked
"Yes, we got Atlantis gate address" he said smiling
"Cool, now we know that there is an out post down here, lets get back on Promethis where it warmer" Jon said they walk back to where the rings are and ring back on to the ship, then they walk down to the bridge.
"Found any thing?"
"Yep, we need to talk to Thor" then there was a bright light and Thor appeared
"Thor, good timing, we found another chair," Jack said
"That is good news O'Neill"
"Thor we found Atlantis gate address" Thor turn to Daniel
"The council would be please with this news. I have received word five of the Asgard ships will be here with in minutes. One of the has got the ancient chair on her and some of the drones"
"Thanks Thor" jack said
"Thor how far away is Anubis ships?"
"Twelve of your hours, they have split up since twelve of Anubis ships have been destroyed"
"Thor can you beam things from one ship to another while in hypo space?"
"No it will not work"
"What about into space?"
"Yes it can be done, what so you have in mind?"
"If the Asgard ships can get close to the Ha'tak, they can beam the super soldiers off, one by one since the shield are down while in hypo space. But just leave half a dozen on each ship, so they can fly them here"
"Sam why not just blow them up?" Jack said Sam turn to Jack
"Cause when they get here, all the Asgard has to do is beam the last of them off the ships. And we can beam the tok'ra and rebel jaffa onto them, taking their place. So when Anubis give the order to fire, the rebel jaffa and tok'ra will be able to fire on Anubis ship and at the same time You will be in the chair as back up if they can't get through the shields"
"Ok sounds like a plan to me"
"I will send a message to the other Asgard" then he beams himself back onto his ship.
"Well all we can do is wait," Daniel said
"You might as well beam us back to the SGC" Jack said
"Yes sir" then he turn to the captain
"Take us out to orbit and beam them down to the gate room"
"Yes sir" They flew back out into spaces then SG1, Sam and Jon were beam down to the gate room.
"All we can do is wait till tomorrow" Jack said
"Jack why don't we send a message to the tok'ra and let them know that we will have some ships for them if they wanted them" Samantha said
"Sure, well see you guys later… come on Sam who knows dad might be one of them"
"Who knows Jack, who knows" they walk away smiling.
Samantha sent a message to the tok'ra before she and Jon went to their quarters, since she was feeling tired. Jack and Sam went to the mess hall to get an afternoon snack then afterwards Sam went to her lab while Jack went to talk to Dr Weir and General Hammond who was on the from Washington.
Jack told them both about what was found and what the plan is so they both could under stand. When he finish talking to them both he walk out of the office and down to Sam lab where he could do his report on what happen while Sam was busy looking at a device.
That night the six of them were having dinner in the mess hall while talking about tomorrow mission. After dinner, they all went their septate ways, Jack and Sam didn't see the others till the next day since they went to bed and had an early night.
The next morning every one on the base could sense the tension in the air knowing what going to happen in the next few hours. They all received word that fifteen Asgard ships have showed up and Sam idea has work.
They all know that all they can do I wait. When it was time Sam and Jack was beam up on Thor ship then Jack was beam down to the out post with the ZPM and an Asgard stone. He replaces the ZPM and waited.
"Colonel Carter five ships just came out of hypo space, they are hailing Promethis"
"Can you answer it" Thor move a stone and two faces appeared
"Dad, Bra'tac good timing Anubis will be here in few minutes"
"Hi Sam we were told your plan and both jaffa and tok'ra are ready and in groups of six" sam turn to Thor
"Can you send a message"
"Already done" Sam smile
"Thanks" then she turn to her father
"Sam what done?"
"The Asgard would of beam the groups onto their ships and when the time comes, they would beam them onto the Ha'tak ships just before the shields go up. They going to beam them down where the shield generator is and take it off line to the Asgard can beam the super solider out, with out letting Anubis know what going on"
"Good plan Sam"
"Thanks"
"Colonel Carter Anubis will be here in two minutes"
"Ok let get this show on the road"
"Talk to you soon Sam"
"Ok dad" then the screen went blank.
They watch as the ships move around and waited. Then they saw ships come out of hypo space
"Jack get ready Anubis just showed up"
"Copy that Sam"
"Ok Thor hail Anubis" he moved a couple of stones then Anubis appeared on the screen
"People of the tauri and the Asgard you can not destroy me"
"That is where you are wrong, we stop you before and we can do it again and this time we are going to destroy you"
"You are wrong, I'm a god"
" Your not a god, once your ship is destroyed you will have no choice but to ascend so Oma can take care of you once and for all"
"I am a god and you will die"
"Please, you keep saying that and you have tried to destroy earth twice and fail twice and you will fail again. We have got the most powerful weapon in the galaxy right on earth and we are going to use it to destroy you once and for all"
"Colonel Carter, it is done"
"Thanks Thor" she said looking at him.
Knowing that all of Anubis drones are now floating in out of space and the jaffa and Tok'ra are on the ships ready and waiting for the order. When she turned to Anubis
"Anubis when you see Oma, say hi form me" then the screen went blank
"Anubis is powering up his weapons" then they all heard him give the order to fire on earth
"Fire" Sam, said then they all fire on Anubis mother ship
"My lord they firing on us, shields are holding" the first prime said
"What, fire on the ships"
"Yes my lord" then the mother ship started firing on both Asgard and mother ships.
Four of the Ha'tak ships blew up but the Asgard beam the jaffa and tok'ra off the ships before they blew up.
"Colonel Carter our weapons can't get through the shields"
"Hail Anubis" then Anubis appeared on the screen
"Your weapons are no use against my shields"
"That is where you are wrong, there is one weapon that can destroy you… look at earth and you can kiss your ass good bye" then the screen went dead
"Jack he all yours" Every one heard as they move the ships away to a safe distances.
They all look to see six fireballs leave earth and heard strait to the ship. Jack made sure one was going strait to the bridge and another to the shield generator. When they fire ball went through the shields, Anubis was shock and held up his hand and covers his face as he yelled out
"NNNNOOOOOOOO" just before the fireball blasted onto the bridge causing an exposition. Every one watch as the ship blew up into pieces.
"Mr president, ambassadors, Generals, you can all relax, Anubis is dead, it is over" Sam said
"Good work colonel" General Hammond said
"Thanks sir, it was a team work"
"Yes it was"
"Hey guys can some one beam me up before I freeze my ass off done here"
Every one heard what Jack said, then he appeared on the bridge with the ZPM.
"Wow sorry about the mess"
"We will take care of it O'Neill"
"Thanks Thor, here the ZPM you wanted back" he put it on the table then there was a beep then two faces appeared
"Bra'tac, dad I hope you like the show" they both grin
"Yes we did we are going to spread the word on what has happen today"
"Ok, well you know where we are, so you can drop by any time"
"Thank you O'Neill"
"Thor can you beam me over to your ship before Bra'tac leaves" then there was a bright light and Jacob was standing next to Jack.
"Thanks"
"Good luck with the remaining goa'uld Bra'tac"
"Thank you and congratulation on your promotion" sam smile
"Thanks" then the screen went dead. They watch as all the Ha'tak ships including the four that was towed jump into hypo space.
"What shall we do with the derby O'Neill?"
"I don't know, Sam any ideas?"
"Well since the ship was made from naqadah, we could use it to build more ships, so if you can Thor, can you beam the pieces down to area fifty one"
"I can do that for you Colonel Carter"
Then there was a beep, Thor turn around and moved three stones then the screen pop up and it show one of the pieces of the ship with a red energy readings coming from it. Thor moved some stones around then writing appeared
"Thor what it is"
"Anubis is still alive"
"What?" they all said
"You mean his essences?" sam said
"Yes it is tramp on this piece of the ship" they look at the screen
"We can't let him get onto earth, who knows what damage he can do" Jacob said
"Thor can you ask the other Asgard to start beaming the pieces down to area fifty one while you can take that piece" Sam pointed to the piece where Anubis is on
"And beam it into the sun"
"I will do that now, but it will take a few beams till we are close to the sun"
"I under stand"
Thor sent a message to the other Asgard then he started beaming the piece close to the sun, then he move to a spot and did it again. Few minutes later they watch as the piece went into the sun.
"Let's go home" jack said they watch as they headed back to earth.
They could see beam of the white light as they see pieces of the ship being beam down to area fifty-one. When Thor was close to earth, he beam Jack, Sam and Jacob down to the gate room then he help the other Asgard take care of the bits of the ship before they return back Orelia with the good news
Every one from the SGC, the pentagon and the white house was please that it was over, that Anubis was now gone and hopefully the war will come to an end for every one. When Jack, Sam and Jacob walk into the mess hall Samantha was sitting down having a piece of cake. She looked up and smiles when she saw the others walk in and over to her
"Hi Dad" she stood up and gave him a hug
"How are you?"
"I'm good, I heard that Anubis is… toast" they all laugh Sam and Jacob sat down while Jack got the three of them drinks and cake
"Yeah pretty much, so how Jon?"
"Good he got two tests to do today"
"Ok, has he been treating you ok"
"Dad" she looked at him knowing what he is like
"I know, I know," he said smiling
"Any way I got some good news for you"
"Oh" he raised an eyebrow
"You are going to be a grand father" Jacob eyes widen, then he smile
"Your pregnant?"
"Yep, ten weeks long with triplets"
"Triplets, that is wonderful news, how did Jon take it?"
"Shock, but happy"
"I bet, I'm happy for you" "thanks dad" she said smiling.
Then Jack walked over with tray in hand and put it on the table then he sat down next to Sam. They talk for the next twenty minutes before they went their septate ways.
Jack took Jacob up to Dr Weir office and introduce them, then he left them to talk while he walk down to Sam lab where he knew that is where Sam would be. He did he report while she was doing hers.
That afternoon Jon walked down to the lab to see Sam and Jack there. They gave him the good news about Anubis, they were happy that he was gone then the left to look for Samantha, where he found her in their quarters, sleeping so he left to go and see what Daniel is up to.
