LoyalFire: Hi everyone!

Dawn: I was gonna say you had a new record when you were writing this, but never mind.

Evan: Yeah.

LoyalFire: Excuse me if I had a lot of tests and homework!

Dawn: I guess we don't matter as much.

Evan: School's more important to you.

LoyalFire: Why do I even bother explaining it to you! You guys don't even go to school.

Dawn: Well then.

LoyalFire: *stomps to room with iPad* ...You guys are mean.

"Hey Yusei," I said when we were back at Blister's place.

"Yeah?"

"Do you think I should get a riding outfit, or at least some jeans, boots, and gloves?"

Yusei blushed, "Sure, I guess."

"Awesome!" I said, "Let's go!"

We went out, and I decided not to get a riding suit, instead, just to get jeans, some gloves, and matching boots. My gloves were black, and so were my boots. I also swapped my white jacket for a gray one. I still had my red tank top under my jacket.

"So," I said, "What do you think?"

"You look great!" said Yusei, "How about we go roller blading? It'll help with your turbo dueling."

"Um...sure." I said. I didn't wanna tell Yusei that I didn't know how to roller blade.

When we got to the rink, Yusei asked, "Dawn, do you know how to roller blade?"

"Sort of," I said blushing.

"Don't worry," said Yusei, "I'll teach you."

"Ok." I said.

It took me a few tries to skate without falling over. But in no time at all, I could skate like I've been doing it all my life.

"You're a natural!" said Yusei.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Yeah!" said Yusei, "No wonder you're so good at turbo dueling!"

I blushed.

"So," said Yusei, "What happened yesterday before Jack came?"

"Well," I said, "Me and Evan saw two of my Duel Monsters, but they were like spirits, and were able to communicate with us."

"That's nice." said Yusei.

"How about we have a little contest?" I said changing the subject, "We do laps around he rink. First to fall or take a break loses."

"Alright." said Yusei.

After a few minutes, I fell on my butt trying to get ahead of Yusei.

I got up. "Ouch," I said rubbing my bottom.

"You did really good for a beginner." said Yusei.

"Let's just go back to Blister's place. We need to get ready for the Fortune Cup after all."

"Right."

We went back to Blister's place once we finished with that.

"I like the new look." said Evan.

"Right back at ya." I said. Evan now had a black leather jacket over his regular navy blue shirt, navy blue gloves and boots.

"Wow," said Yusei, "Now you two look more like turbo duelists."

"Yeah," I said, "Where are Tanner and Yanagi?"

"They went out to the Kaiba Dome to get good seats for the Fortune Cup."

"Then we should go too." I said.

We got to the Kaiba Dome. Leo, Luna, and Dexter were with Tanner and Yanagi. Luna was in an orange coat, and a yellowish hat covering her green pigtails. Dexter was next to her, and Leo had too much makeup on.

"How do I look?" asked Leo.

"You're as good a Luna as Luna is." said Yanagi.

"Yahooo!" said Leo. Luna kicked him.

"Just don't embarrass me." said Luna.

"Don't worry," said Leo, "I'm about to make you a dueling legend." He turned to me, Yusei, and Evan. In a girly voice he said, "You guys ready?"

"Just one thing," said Evan, "I think the makeup should go."

"I'll help you with that." I said.

After that was done, Leo asked, "So, we've met two times again, and you still haven't told me your names. When are you?"

"You'll find out in about 5 minutes." I said.

"But that's when the Fortune Cup starts!"

"Exactly."

"We should get going." said Yusei, holding my hand.

"Yeah," said Evan, "So let's move it!"

We got on to these platforms that were raised up into the middle of the stadium.

"And now," said the announcer, "I give you the Fortune 12!"

"Here we go!" said Leo. "W-woah! Look at all the people!"

There were 6 people on one side, and 6 on the other.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome: Miss Maya Tachibana, Ryker West, the beautiful Miss Akiza Izinski, the always mysterious Shira, the great Grieger, Commander Koda, The Professor, Sir Randsborg, the lovely Miss Luna, Yusei Fudo, the pretty girl with a fiery spirit; Dawn Yumeni, and Evan Knight!"

"So you're Yusei?"

"Yup, now don't wear it out."

"You're Dawn?"

"The one and only."

"And you're Evan?"

"That's my name."

"Those don't really sound like superhero names." said Leo.

"Super what?" asked Yusei.

Then, someone in the audience said, "Why are there Satellites here?"

"They probably stole people's invitations!" said another person.

Then, the crowd started shouting mean stuff at us. I clenched my gloved fist, but Yusei squeezed my other hand and whispered, "Just ignore them."

Suddenly, the blond haired guy named Ryker walked up and took the microphone from the MC's hand and said in a country accent, "As y'all know, my name's Ryker West. I may not know how y'all do things around here, but where I come from, we respect all duelists until they give us a reason not to. These three may have been branded by ya as no-goods but all I see in them are great duelists, and that's why we've been invited to this tournament. We can duel, and we're damn good at it. So if any of you have a problem with that, tell Director Goodwin. Or ya can just keep complaining. But if y'all decide to do that, I'll give each and every one of y'all a beatin'!" And with that, he walked back to his spot and tossed the microphone back to the MC.

"Here's your mike." he said.

Goodwin stood up and started clapping. Everyone in the stadium also started clapping. 'Oh wow.' I thought.

"Thank you Ryker...for those...inspiring words." said Goodwin as the clapping died down. "In our world, wealth and society draw a line between man. But I wished, if even for a fleeting moment, to erase that line. Where our two groups of people can be united. I welcome you ladies and gentlemen, to the Fortune Cup!"

"Thank you Director Goodwin," said the MC, "and now, let's look at the first round match-ups!"

The match-ups were: Leo vs Greiger, Yusei vs Shira, Akiza vs Sir Randborg, Me vs Maya, Evan vs Ryker, and Commander Koda vs The Professor.

"Yes!" said Leo, "I'm going against Greiger in the first round!"

Grieger smiled at Leo.

"Go for it Leo!" I said.

Leo lost his duel. He sulked back over to where we were.

"Don't be upset Leo," I said, "You did your best. And, you adapted to the situation."

"But I still lost!" he said.

"So don't loose confidence and win next time!" I said.

"Ok..."

"Hey!" I said remembering the next matchup, "Isn't it your turn, Yusei?"

"Yeah," he said standing up.

"Go get em!"

LoyalFire: Next up is Yusei, then Akiza, then Dawn, then Evan!

Dawn: I will dominate!

Evan: Yeah! And once I beat Ryker, I'm coming after you Dawn!

Dawn: As if! I'm gonna beat you!

Evan: Bring it on Dawn!
