MysticFangs: Welcome back!
Dawn: You really do take a long time to update.
Evan: Why?
MysticFangs: I don't have to answer to you two.
Dawn: Why not?
MysticFangs: Because I say so. And whatever I say goes!
Dawn: T.T
MysticFangs: Alright, so the disclaimer is the same as always. Enjoy the chapter!
The next duel was Yusei's. He was facing Greiger and his new duel runner.
"Go Yusei!" I yelled.
"You got this!" yelled Evan. Then he muttered, "Like we know you do."
Greiger wasted no time in summoning his Flying Fortress SKY FIRE. We were all worried for Yusei. Well, more like everyone but me and Evan. We knew that he would win, but it was still worrying to watch it. It felt so much different from the show. It just felt more like it wasn't scripted and Yusei actually could lose. It looked like there was no hope at one point.
Leo looked like he was really worried. I pat his head.
"Don't worry about it Leo," I said, "Yusei will win." He nodded. "You really think so Dawn?" Leo asked me. I smiled and said, "I know so."
Yusei ended up winning his duel against Greiger, and I found myself tensing for what was going to happen next. Greiger told everyone how Goodwin destroyed his hometown as a test site for the Crimson Dragon. I looked up to where Goodwin was, and he was talking to Lazar. He was probably telling Lazar that no one would believe Greiger's story.
When Greiger was done with his story, he got on his duel runner again and flew toward Goodwin. Yusei intercepted him and stopped Greiger. A piece of Greiger's duel runner broke off and flew toward Greiger's target. Goodwin stopped the piece of the duel runner, and it was revealed to Jack that Goodwin has a metal arm.
Goodwin then appeared on screens all over the arena. He said that Greiger was delusional, and would be getting the help he needs.
"Yeah," said Tanner, "He'll be getting 'help'."
We looked down at where Greiger and Yusei were, and saw that some Sector Security officers were taking Greiger away. Both Evan and I looked at each other worriedly. The next time we will see Greiger is when he has turn into a Dark Signer.
"Well," I said, "Yusei won!"
"Yes!" said Evan happily.
"He actually did it!" said Leo. I smirked. "Told you so. And he's gonna keep on winning!"
"And beat Akiza and Jack!" said Evan pumping a fist in the air.
I ran down to where Yusei was with Evan. "Congrats Yusei!" I said running up to him and hugging him. "Thanks Dawn," said Yusei. I noticed a small smile on his face.
"Now you're gonna duel against Akiza," said Evan, "Right Yusei?" Yusei nodded. "Yeah," he said. I stepped away from Yusei and grabbed Evan's arm. "We'll let you get ready for your duel," I said. I dragged a surprised Evan away.
On our way back to the arena, we saw Sayer talking to Akiza, prepping her for her duel. He was telling her that she doesn't need her mask anymore. I clenched my fists, and so did Evan. "I really don't like Sayer," I said. "Me neither," agreed Evan. Both Sayer and Akiza turned toward us. Sayer put his hand on Akiza's shoulder, and she left to go toward the arena. Sayer walked closer to me and Evan.
"Mr. Knight and Ms. Yumeni," he said, "How are you?" He turned to look at me. "And Dawn. Are you feeling okay after getting disqualified?" I was ready to burn Sayer. I stayed quiet, knowing that if I said something, I would regret it. Evan seemed to know this too, so he said, "She's fine."
"Then what about you Evan?" asked Sayer, "The way you were disqualified was just so horrible."
That's it, I thought. I made a flame appear next to Sayer. "What do you want?" I demanded.
Sayer smiled. "Thank you for confirming my suspicions that you two have psychic powers. I want you two to join the Arcadia Movement."
Evan made ice form around Sayer's feet. "Not on your life," he growled. Sayer snapped his fingers, and duelists from the Arcadia Movement surrounded us. "I bet Akiza would trust you two if you joined," said Sayer. I crossed my arms, and ignored the fact that Evan's eyes widened.
"And you think that's gonna make us want to join?" I said. "Well I know that Mr. Knight might want to go now," said Sayer.
I looked at Evan. He was trying not to show his reaction. "We aren't going to go with you," said Evan, "And that's final." The ice around Sayer's feet melted, and he stepped closer to Evan. "You don't really think that, do you Evan?"
Evan's fists were shaking. I know he wants to help Akiza, I thought, But we can't do it this way. I pushed Sayer away from Evan. "Leave us alone," I said, "We will never join you, no matter what you say. Just leave us alone."
I grabbed Evan's arm and pushed through the Arcadia Movement's psychic duelists. We went back to the stands. We sat down, and I breathed a sigh of relief. "The duel's over," said Evan.
"What?!" I said in surprise. I looked neck down at the arena and saw that Yusei had won the duel. I smiled and yelled, "Yes Yusei! Keep on winning like that!"
Yusei looked up at me and gave me a thumbs up.
"On to the finals," I muttered smirking.
MystcFangs: Sorry, shorter chapter, I know.
Dawn: You should be sorry.
Evan: Yeah; making your readers wait like that, then post a short chapter.
Dawn: I can't believe you Myst.
MysticFangs: Whatever. Anyway, I'll see you all in the next chapter!
