"Shopping with momma, shopping with momma, it's so fun to shop with momma~," Rin sang happily as she, Lin and their mother walked down the busy streets together.

Lin and Rin were holding each other's hands as they walked a bit ahead of their mother. Their mother followed them closely behind, making sure that they don't get too far ahead of her. The people that passed by them awed at how adorable Rin and Lin were being.

The twins didn't pay any mind to them as Rin continued to sing her song. Lin hummed along to it as his sister started to skip as well. Minutes of this passed and as they turned a corner, Rin stopped in her tracks and went over to her mother.

"Momma!" she exclaimed as she grabbed hold of her mother's leg and tugged, pointing down the street.

"What is it, dear?" their mother asked, looking down at her daughter.

"Z! Z!" Rin said, "I see a Z!"

"A Z, huh?" their mother said, looking towards where Rin was pointing at.

Rin nodded her head furiously while continuing to tug on her mother's leg. Lin looked toward where his sister was pointing at before looking up at their mother.

"Can we go after it?" Lin asked, making Rin looked toward her too.

"I don't know," their mother mused, thinking it over.

"Please~?" Rin asked, looking up at her with puppy dog eyes.

"Please?" Lin asked.

Their mother looked down at the two of them as they both gave her puppy dog eyes. A minute or two passed before she let out a defeated sigh.

"Alright," she said, "you can go after it."

"Yay~!" Lin and Rin said happily, throwing their arms into the air.

"But I'm picking you up three hours earlier," their mother said sternly.

"Aww~," Rin whined as she stomped her feet a little.

"Okay, momma," Lin said, nodding in understanding.

Their mother nodded back before looking at Rin. "That's the deal Rin," she said.

"...Fine~!" Rin said, crossing her arms and pouted.

"Good," their mother said, smiling. "Keep an eye on your sister while you're hunting, Lin."

"I will," Lin said before grabbing Rin's hand. "Let's get going, Rin!"

Their mother watched as the two of them ran down the street and toward the zombie together till they were out of her sight.

"It went this way, Lin!" Rin yelled as she dragged her brother after the zombie they had spotted moments ago.

"S-s-slow down, Rin!" Lin exclaimed, "You're going to make us run into someone!"

"No I won't!" Rin said, "Besides, if we slow down, we'll lose the Z!"

Lin let out a sigh at his sister as he continued to be dragged by her. Rin turned a corner before skidding to a halt, making Lin bump into her.

"Oof!" Lin said, "Rin~! Give a guy some warning, will ya?"

"I see someone," Rin said, looking straight ahead.

"Huh?" Lin said, looking at his sister curiously. "What do you mean?"

Rin said nothing as she turned toward him and pointed straight ahead. "Hey, you're better at telling time than me. So tell me how long before that ring becomes black."

Lin blinked at her a few times before looking towards where she was pointing at. He stood there for a few seconds, focusing for the ring that Rin was talking about before finding it.

"It's hard to say," Lin said, "It's still light grey."

Rin huffed and puffed her cheeks out, crossing her arms.

"Then I guess we better go see who that person is then." Rin said, turning back around and began walking towards the person.

"Huh?! Seriously?!" Lin exclaimed, looking at Rin wide eyed before following her. "Are you really planning on reaping them?!"

"Once their ring turns black, yeah." Rin said, matter of factly.

"But that's papa's job!" Lin exclaimed. "We're still too young to do it ourselves! And inexperienced!"

"That's what all of the adults say!" Rin said, "We won't know for sure unless we try, right?"

Lin let out a groan and hung his head at his sister's stubbornness. He knew that once Rin made up her mind, there was no way that she was going to change it. Rin continued to march toward the person with the ring before stopping again, Lin stopping with her. Another sigh escaped Lin's lips before he looked up to see the person as well.

To the twins' surprise, the person that had the light grey ring was the same person they had met the other night: Michiru Kita. She was with the two boys they had seen the other night as well. Rin and Lin stood there, staring wide eyed at Michiru as she tried to stop the boys' fight that was currently going on. It took Michiru a moment before she noticed the twins staring at her.

"Huh?" she said, looking over at them. "Oh, hello again you two."

She smiled at them both, drawing the attention of her companions. Rin and Lin said nothing as they continued to stare at her.

"Nee-san…" Lin and Rin thought while looking at the ring around her neck, "is going to die?!"
