Chapter Three: Meeting of the "Relatives"
"Why didn't anyone tell me that I had two nephews?!" Mizuki exclaimed as she sat within the dining hall along with Komui, Allen and the twins.
"It's because we were worried that Kanda and Yuki would refuse the mission." Komui said as he had little Allen sitting on his lap.
"You didn't give them the option, did you?" the older Allen asked as he looked at Komui with disbelief.
"Well, there is that too." Komui said, "But, rest assured, I actually did give them a second option to this mission."
"And what was that?" Mizuki asked, raising an eyebrow at the chief.
"That you two were going to be their parents instead." Komui said.
"What?!" Allen exclaimed, standing up from his seat as his face turned bright red.
Mizuki said nothing as her own face turned red as well, accompanied by a smile to the thought of having a family with Allen. The twins looked at them for a moment before looking up at Komui.
"Why's Auntie Mizuki and Uncie Allen red?" Akio asked.
"Yeah, why?" little Allen asked as well.
"I'll let your mother explain that to you when you're older." Komui said without even looking at the twins.
The boys stared up at him for a moment or two before looking at each other.
"I thought Mommy didn't like hearing about Uncie Allen turning red?" Akio asked as he looked back at Komui.
"Yeah, she slightly scares Daddy when she does hear about that." little Allen said.
"Not when she knows that I'm the one that made him red." Mizuki said with a smirk.
"Mommy just pales and passes out when she hears that part." Akio said, looking at his aunt.
"Scares us and Daddy when that happens too." little Allen said.
"Well, as much fun as this conversation has been, how about we get you two some food? It'll put your mother a bit at ease to know that you received some nourishment while she was teaching your father a lesson." Komui said as he looked down at the two.
"Okay~!" both little Allen and Akio said with smiles on their faces.
Komui, older Allen and Mizuki stared at the boys with shocked faces as the two ate. Akio had ordered an assortment of items to eat and was halfway done with it. Little Allen, on the other hand, had just ordered zaru soba and tea, just like Kanda.
"Can't believe my brother corrupted one of them to eat like him…." Mizuki said as she pulled out a cigarette.
"Care to explain how the other one is eating like me a bit?" older Allen asked.
"I wouldn't know where to start." Mizuki said. "I just know you're sister eats rice one grain at a time, but that was back when she first came to the Order."
"She was that bad, huh?" older Allen asked.
"Worse," Mizuki said, sticking the cigarette in her mouth.
"I think Yuki would throw a fit if she found out you were smoking in front of her children." Komui said.
"That's why I'm not lighting it, yet." Mizuki said.
"Sure you're not," both older Allen and Komui said, slightly scooting away from her.
"What was that?" Mizuki asked, turning her head towards them and glaring at them.
"Nothing!" Allen and Komui said, smiling at her while sweating a bit under the glare.
The twins watched as their aunt crossed her arms and glared harder at the two men, still eating their food.
