"Wow, Sasuke," Naruto said, " You look so good in that ninjitsu suit you have on."
Yes after so many years of being enemies, Naruto and Sasuke were finally not enemies. And also they were friends with L and Light, who were also no longer enemies, and all four of them were on a cruise together just to prove how not enemies they were.
"Why don't you change into some shorts, L?" Light Yagami suggested, eyes glinting mischieviously.
"No thanks," L said, licking naughty frosting from his lithe fingertips. Light was so turned on by L's love of desserts, he could just imagein L licking his pretzel stick, imagining it was an ecalair.
The boys had decided to go on a relaxing cruise shortly after a brush with a time hoping SHINIGAMI but that's anther story. It was Light and Naruto's idea. They wanted to show their former nemesises that they were ready to bury the hatchet and be friends now and forever.
Right now they were playing shuffleboard. (Author's note: I don't know what shuffleboard is or how it's played so Im not going to explain the mechanics of the game because I don't know them duh.) Naruto was appreciating Sasuke's butt, and Light was holding a plate of cookies and cupcakes for L.
Whether or not they liked to admit it, L and Sasuke were having a fun time. They were super grateful that their former adversaries were finally having some sense and realizing in today's crazy world, they didn't have to fight. L was happy to have his only friend back and Sasuke was happy to have his brother. When Light and Naruto first proposed the idea of a group cruise they were hesitant but now that theyd' pushed off from shore they were happy.
What is happiness? L wondered as the SS Lil Lappy (bonus points if u get the reference lol) floated farther and farther from civilization.
Sasuke shot the shuffle across the board, earning maximum points. Naruto leaped up in happiness and cheered for his new best friend.
Could this be the start of something entirely new? L thought.
It was. But he kind of didn't know it yet.
