November 15 was tomorrow. The day Draco and Hanna were to head to hogwarts. To say Hanna was excited would have been an understatement. Lucius had made sure both Hanna and Draco had everything they needed and as he always did for Draco, Lucius would send packages through out the year for Hanna as well. These packages included treats and money to spend not that Hanna would be able to go to Hogsmead yet but she would be able to have Draco go for her. Both had the best of everything. Lucius had never been one to settle with something inferior. When it came to Hanna, this both surprised and made Miley smile inside just a little. It was good to know that Hanna would be provided for and have what she needs. At the same time, Miley had not expected Lucius to care. Lucius however as well as Draco had taken to Hanna.

Hanna was alone in her room on her bed in the darkness. She was supposed to be sleeping but sleep was proving hard to come by tonight. She wasn't a fool. As fun as Draco had made it all seem, Hanna was scared as well as excited. She knew Draco and Lucius were wizards. Magic came natural to them. They said she was a muggle... such a strange name, she had laughed the first time she heard it. She was human just like them but she would be the only one of her kind at Hogqarts. She was not even a Squib. Draco had told her that was a person who was born into a magical family but did not have magic themselves. Then again, the wand had had a reaction to her so maybe, just maybe, she was special. Still it was going to be an adjustment. Then of course, there was her mother and Lucius. Hanna could see that their marriage did not make her mother happy. She could see Miley was afraid of Lucius. He was mean to her mother. The made Hanna mad but her mother told her to keep quiet about it. It worried the girl, thinking about what would happen while she was gone.

There was noise elsewhere in the house but Hanna could not make it out clearly as her eyes finally closed and she drifted off to sleep.

Draco was busy in his and Halie's room. Unwrapped items were scattered on the bed and two large trunks sat open in the center of the room. It had been a difficult decision to or not to bring Halle to school. If he brought her, Draco feared that, he would be the only one with a wife at school. Draco would not be able to fool around or have any fun because the girls wouldn't want to play. However, if he left her here Lucius would be near her. Draco was possessive and he did not for one minute trust Lucius not to touch her. Halle was his. Plus Lucius was a womanizer, that's where Draco got it from. So, after a long and not enjoyable evening for Halle who already slept on the very edge of the bed every night, it was decided that Halle would be coming to Hogwarts.

Draco packed his own trunk. He did not trust Hall to do it. He did not want anything broken or lost. Halle's trunk was finished before Draco's as she had much less to pack. She took the time afterwards when she could just sit on one of the soft chairs in the room and be left alone. Her marriage and her life now was Hell. Her husband, a very attractive male that would make woman's head turn, was a nightmare. She had bruised, bite marks scratches... Draco hated her. The feeling was not mutual however. She feared him but he was not always that way. Of course, many of the times he touched her gently, he did do to confute her or to get Halle to let her guard down so he could hurt her again. It was only when Draco was sleeping... when he would slide across the bed and press himself against her, arm around her and holding Halle tight... mumble things he never said to her when he was awake. These things made her have a sliver of hope and think that maybe, just maybe, there could be a change. She just had to figure out how.

Miley was faring a bit better. Lucius did not physically hurt her. He did threaten to. He had also raised a hand to her more than once. He yelled at her and promised to make her life a living Hell if she crossed him. But then again, he had made the house elves clear space for her things. He gave a bit of freedom but never control. Still Lucius did not want her to touch him and very rarely touched her outside of sex. He did look at her with hunger in his more and more often and when that happened, Miley would blush knowing the sex that would follow would not be as cold and rushed. Once or twice she had even caught a gentle gaze her way as he moved in her.

Tonight Halle had ventured out of Draco's room. She always thought of it as Draco's not theirs. She wanted some fresh air. To get away from flinching every time Draco came too close. Stepping outside and onto the front porch, Halle turned to the wicker patio furniture set to find Miley and Lucius. They sat in separate chairs and a house elf was setting a tray with a bottle off fire whiskey and glasses on the small table. Halle felt for the house elves. They were prisoners too. She, Miley and Hanna had gotten used to the little creatures now. They were still a bit odd but seeing them more often helped to become accustomed to having them around.

Lucius glanced up at Halle. "Does Draco know you're out here?" He asked in a cold tone. Miley glanced at him before looking away. Halle faltered and then stammered "I just need a breather." Lucius, not really caring either way, continued to look at the broken girl before him for a few long moments before motioned to a free chair. Halle sat quickly and looked own at her hands in her lap. The house elf poured 3 drinks and handed them out before disappearing with a loud pop.

Miley cleared her throat. "Are you ready to go, Halle?" She asked in a soft voice as if she was worried Lucius did not want her to speak. There were times he made it perfectly clear he expected silence. Right now however, Lucius did not seem to be paying attention. The man held his cane in one hand and his drink in the other. His dogs, two large Irish Wolfhounds lay one on either side of his chair. Lucius himself stared off into the darkness that surrounded the house. He looked like the was just off in his own took a moment to just look at him. How calm he seemed.

Halle did not know if she could answer without crying. Slowly she nodded she wanted to say more. Tell Miley everything but not with Lucius there. It was not long before Draco came looking for her. He opened the front door and upon seeing Halle there, instantly ordered her back into the house. Before Halle could move, Lucius spoke up surprising everyone. He had not moved but his voice did not disguise that his words were an order. "Sit down, Draco." Everyone looked at the elder Malfoy. The women with surprise on their faces. Draco with anger. He would not dare argue though. Slowly he sat across from his wife scowling.

The limo was magically inclined. It fit everyone comfortably and all the luggage in the boot. They had plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and Lucius sat back in the seat and relaxed. Miley was at his side and periodically he would glance at her. She was still attractive to him and Lucius had to admit to himself, she was growing on him. Not too much but a little. Hanna however, had latched on an tugged at his heart. She was an innocent and to be honest, Lucius enjoyed having the girl around. Muggle or not. It was a frightening thought but it was true. When she caught his eyes, Lucius gave a soft smile and then looked away. They drove in relative silence and hit very little traffic, They arrived with half an hour to spare. Pushing trollies, they made their way to platform 9 and 3/4.

They stood there before the barrier dividing platform 9 and 10. It was a solid brick...wall. Miley shook her head and then looked up at Lucius as if he had grown a second head. They couldn't walk through that. What was he thinking? At Lucius' orders, Draco started forward and Lucius followed with Hanna's trolley. The females grimaced expecting a collision. They males reached the barrier and then they were gone. When they returned, Hanna was bouncing on the balls of her feet with excitement. Draco took Halle's trolley through and then returned again for his wife. Lucius took Miley's and Hanna's hand. Miley didn't miss this but she wisely said nothing about it. Draco took hold on Halle. Muggles could not cross the barrier on their own.

Eyes squeezed shut, Miley let herself be led forward. She expected a collision but seconds later, she was surrounded by noise. Carmen could not help looking around like a tourist on her first trip. It was crazy. Gone was platforms 9 and 10. On the tracks was a large old fashioned red locomotive with the words Hogwarts Express on the front. The steam from the train caused a disfiguring layer over everything. Through it, Miley could just make out people, pet cages and luggage. Draco had a large owl as well. Miley glanced at the animal for a moment. The air was full of conversations, the hooting of owls and soft meows.

Miley's hand had tightened unconsciously on Lucius' and he allowed it for a moment before pulling his hand away. Miley made no move to hold on. It all happened too soon from that point. The train whistle blew making Miley and Halle jump and then everyone started saying their goodbyes and then the students started boarding. Hanna turned and wrapped her arms around her mother. Suddenly she didn't want to go and Miley held her close. Tears were forming in her eyes and she swallowed hard. Halle looked lost. She was staring at Miley like she wanted to hug Miley as well. Miley tried to give a reassuring smile but she failed miserably. Finally there was no more time. The train was about to leave. Halle and Draco were on the train and now Lucius pried Hanna from her mother and forced her to step back. "It's time to go, Hanna. You'll be fine. Pay attention and try hard." His voice was strict but not unkind. Lucius turned Hanna towards the train and then gave her a push in the right direction. She would die without Hanna...

Other people were leaving now. They stepped around Lucius and Miley. Many people took a double look at Miley and her tear stained face. This was their first view of Malfoy's Muggle wife. It wasn't a good impression to make and Lucius did not take long to growl at Miley. His large hand closed around her upper arm and Miley was spun around to face him. "Stop crying." He growled. His eyes were cold and mean. Miley looked up at him, heart broken, if was too hard. This was too hard for her to handle. She couldn't speak and it seemed like she was on the verge of breaking down. Lucius shook Miley slightly and she gasped. "Right now." He continued. Miley forced her self to nod and with her free hand, she swiped at her eyes. She was trying but it was so hard. His anger was the only thing keeping her from loosing it. A few deep breaths and she nodded again. Only then Lucius released her and Miley turned her back to him. Hand on her back he guided her back into the train station.
