Author's Notes: Hello! I don't know if you guys are still reading this, but, I reread all of your reviews and I felt really –really- bad for not updating. Honestly, I had some personal problems (hint: my counselor just told me that I have an unstable personality – not fun. Haha.) Anyway, I'm trying to pick this up again so please be kind and let's have fun!
The man was relentless.
Satsuki glanced wearily at the twelfth letter of the week that Akashi sent her. All of them contained the polite beginnings of what could possibly be the greatest mistake – or opportunity as he put it - of their lives;
Momoi-san,
I hope this letter finds you well, since I have no way of knowing because you have not replied to the previous letters I've sent before—
Satsuki knew that was a lie, honestly, Akashi? Not having a back-up plan? She wouldn't be surprised if he had already had someone trail her. Making sure she wouldn't be packing up and moving to the mountains – well, not like he couldn't find her there.
-again, I hope you give sufficient amount of time to come up with the right decision regarding my proposition.
By right decision, of course he meant accepting it.
The pink haired woman was about to toss the fine paper to her trashcan where its siblings await when she noticed the post script at the bottom of the paper. Satsuki hummed and sat on her couch as her eyes flitted over the last few sentences;
P.S. I know how this sounds; perhaps, I could explain it further and clearer if you agree to meet me for coffee- your choice of restaurant, of course—
Smart man, Satsuki smiled but then paused and glared at his last words.
-and perhaps, you may finally start to stop waiting.
Akashi glanced from his newspaper when his private butler, Usui, entered the room.
"Boccho-sama, you have a letter." The balding aged man said, handing him a pale orange envelope. The red haired man waved his hand to dismiss the butler and placed aside his newspaper and tea.
He nearly smirked at the three succinct lines of the letter;
Akashi-kun,
I'm not waiting for anyone, so, be at Sweet Inspirations by 8 am *sharp* tomorrow.
Satsuki
End Notes: Hmm, I wonder what Akashi was referring to? It certainly set things in motion!
