Bonnie smiled as she settled into her chair on the plane. She had a bag of Maltesers in one hand and a fruity drink in the other. The screen in front of her showed her a list of options to watch. Boardwalk Empire was the winner so she played the latest episode. For once in years she felt content as she enjoyed her chocolaty goodness. She deserved this she thought, a trip to Cadiz will be healthy and refreshing. While she was waiting for the plane she had checked out everything she could do while she was there. The flight lasted a long time and by the time she got there; the sun was setting in the sky.

"Welcome to Cadiz, Spain" the usual voice came on the speakers, "The temperature is 25 degrees and sunny"

A warm blast hit her when she got out of the plane. Bonnie took in the area around her and it was beautiful. When she left the airport she called for a taxi to take her to her hotel. While she was waiting she scanned the crowd. There were people going about their business, selling things in the street, a group of nuns were crossing the square, two children were racing each other, Rebekah Mikealson getting into a taxi…wow wait! When she looked back the cab had already taken off. Was she going mad? It properly wasn't her; she only saw her for a second. Bonnie shook herself mentally and told herself to get a grip.

She needed this holiday more than she thought…

Tyler Lockwood was a journalist for the New York Times. He was a crime reporter that was leading his field. Everyone wanted to know what he thought of a case. He's worked with the police too many times to count and he's also worked with the FBI on a few cases. He had an impressive CV and no one knew crime like Tyler Lockwood. He's covered the Mikealson case since the start of it all but at the moment he was making a personal call.

"No, I don't want a big thing" Tyler laughed.

"It's your 35th birthday" his wife, Amy reminded him.

"I just want a few friends over" Tyler protested.

"OK then" she suddenly said.

Tyler suspected something; she never gave in this easily.

"If you're thinking about giving me a surprise party then your can forget it" Tyler chuckled, "We're getting too old for a big party"

"You're never too old for a big party" she corrected him.

An e-mail pinged on his laptop and it looked important so he decided to cut the conversation short.

"I've got to go but I'll see you tonight" Tyler excused.

"Ok, bye" Amy said before disconnecting.

Tyler opened up the email and couldn't believe it when he read its contents. Rebekah and Kol Mikealson have escaped. His journalistic mind vibrated with possibilities. He could see himself working all night. Whenever the name Mikealson turned up he always thought of his ex-girlfriend; Caroline. He didn't treat her right and dumped her for someone else. Tyler had heard that she'd married Klaus Mikealson which made him unhappy. Not because he wanted her but because he thought that she deserved better than that. Anyway, that was all ancient history but right now he had a report to do.

"Agent Salvatore!" Higgins yelled across the office.

Stefan rolled his eyes at the man's behaviour. He stormed towards him and placed the folder on the table. Stefan explained something he's explained a thousand times:

"What have I said about shouting in the office?" Stefan reminded him sharply.

"I'm sorry Agent Salvatore" Higgins apologised, "But I've just received word that Rebekah and Kol Mikealson have escaped from prison"

He didn't respond right away because he was still in shock. How could this be? If they've both escaped than the Mikealson's are planning on a reunion. Stefan now was back to square one at trying to catch these criminals. Where could they have gone? He knew they'd be out of the country be now and that wasn't going to make him look good in front of his bosses. Right now Stefan had to lead this investigation.

"There's another thing" Higgins said nervously, "Kol Mikealson's child has been kidnapped"

"Bring the team into the brief room please" Agent Salvatore ordered.

But before he could organise his staff the phone is his office began to ring. His secretary, Cordelia who he found a bit shallow called for him.

"I'll take it later" Stefan told her.

Cordelia rolled her eyes and then told him who it's from:

"It's from the head" Cordelia said in that annoying tone of hers.

The head? Panic spread through him like a disease. He can't be happy with the present circumstances. Stefan knew he had to answer the call and making him wait wasn't going to make things any better for him. He made his way to the phone with Cordelia looking mildly amused. Stefan gripped the phone with sweaty palms and prepared himself.

"Yes, Sir" Stefan answered the phone.

"Do you have an explanation Agent Salvatore?" his boss grumbled.

"We received no intel about what was going on" Stefan tried to explain, "This is completely out of the blue"

"WELL IT SHOULDN'T BE OUT OF THE BLUE!" he hissed, "Maybe I made a mistake letting Agent Bennett go on a holiday because I thought you could handle it. I'm getting pressure from high places to catch these criminals. They're making a mockery of us; have you read the headlines lately?"

"I'm sorry Sir, we will find them" Stefan tried to reassure him.

"You'd better!" he said before hanging up.

Klaus, Caroline, Elijah, Elena, Henrik and Liv were packing. They were at their hotel and they were moving to China soon to organise their return with their father Mikael. Henrik felt sad that they were moving again. He constantly feared getting caught because then his Daddy would go away. He and his Mum were just finishing their packing when they heard a noise coming from the main room. They went to inspect what it was and they saw Rebekah and Kol at the door. Elijah looked over the moon and greeted them both eagerly.

"I haven't seen you in such a long time" Elijah smiled.

Henrik raised an eyebrow: another uncle and even an aunt?

Klaus hung back but looked relieved all the same. The last time they saw each other; Klaus was leaving them because they wanted to wait and rescue Elijah. Kol sensed his brother's hesitation and hugged him to show all was forgiven. All the Mikealson's (except Finn) were reunited again and it was a nice site to witness.

"Who is this?" Rebekah asked, pointing at Henrik.

"This is Henrik" Klaus told her, "Your nephew"

Rebekah looked pleased.

"I have another nephew" Rebekah beamed.

"I'd turn around if I was you" Liv said.

Kol's son was standing next to Luke. He looked a little frightened but glad to someone he knew. Little Mikael ran to his father and hugged him and he hugged him back. He didn't think he's ever been this happy before in his life. There were no guards, glass window, FBI and no prison to keep them apart.

"How did you get here?" Kol asked.

"Luke brought me" Mikael half lied, kidnapped would be the better word.

"Is this your son?" Caroline joined in.

"Yes it is" Kol said with pride, "I take it you've married my brother"

"I have" Caroline confirmed.

While the adults were catching up; Henrik walked up to the cousin he never knew he had. Both boys looked at each for a few moments.

"I'm Henrik" he introduced himself, "I think I'm your cousin"

"Cool" Mikael took it in, "Do you like Xbox?"

"Yeah" Henrik said enthusiastically.

Bonnie supped some refreshing drink at the hotel café that over looked the lobby. She had a chilled cheesecake that was just begging to be eaten and a brochure that she had been flicking through. Bonnie had to admit that she liked this holiday lark. After her indulgence, she was planning on going on a trek that the brochure says is highly recommended and then maybe to the spa. But before she could begin on her cheese cake, she saw something distressing. She saw what looked like Caroline Mikaelson carrying a large suitcase up the stairs. Bonnie blinked twice in disbelief.

"Relax Bonnie" she told herself, "You're just imagining it"

Upstairs however, Caroline had just arrived with their disguises. Luke and Liv had gone on ahead so it was just them. Kol was wearing the blond short beard to go with his blond wig and blue contact lenses. His clothes was that of a business man, a grey suit and tie. Klaus was in a brown wig with green contact lenses and a fake scar. He was given typical traveller clothes fit to hike in. Elijah, (who lost the game of rock, paper, and scissors) was wearing the grey wig with light blue contact lenses, on his face he wore Goth make-up and had a punky green wig.

"Isn't the whole point of this excercise is NOT to attract attention to ourselves?" Elijah grumbled.

"That's the point big bro" Kol laughed, "No one would think that was you"

Next, it was the girls turn because although they were hardly important of the FBI's radar; they knew who they were and who they associated with. Caroline wore something a secutary would wear because she's supposed to be Kol's assistant. She had a black wig with brown contact lenses. The plan was for them to divide into two's and meet at the meeting point in China. Elena was wearing a red wig with blue eye contacts and a fake nose piecing. She had traveller clothes on as well and she was going with Klaus. Rebekah was all dressed up in a blue track suit. She had a brown wig with brown lenses. Henrik had a blond wig with blue contacts and he was going with Rebekah. Henrik had blue contact lenses and a red wig and he was going with Elijah.

"Do you have the passports?" Elijah asked Caroline.

"Yes I do" Caroline confirmed, handing them out.

"We all know the plan right?" Klaus insisted, "Kol and Caroline are to look like they're going to China on business. That's why they're going in business class. I and Elena are looking like a couple who loves the outdoors so we're going in economy. Elijah and Henrik will also be going in economy and be posing as father and son. Henrik; you should look like your embarrassed of your Gothic father"

"That won't be a problem" Henrik said sarcastically, looking at his uncle's mad attire.

"Rebekah and Mikael, you are going as mother and son. You have act that way" Klaus ordered.

Mikael thought that it was going to be difficult to pretend this woman who he's just known for two hours is his Mother. But Rebekah was smiling at the opportunity to get to know her nephew better.

"We will go to our hotels and then at 12 the next day will meet in the restaurant Caprice. We are all going on different flights. Is everybody clear?" Klaus wanted to check.

Bonnie had just come back from her hike and she was feeling too buzzed to go to the spa today so she decided to go for a run. She put her headphones in at the hotel lobby and decided to buy a cold drink to see her through. Suddenly a Goth and an embarrassed looking boy came out of the hotel. They checked out and left. Bonnie felt sorry for that poor boy. She remembered that she needed to go to the loo before she left. When she came out; a business man with a face she faintly recognised came out of the hotel with an assistant whose face was also familiar. The man looked at her strangely and she didn't like that. She many need a break but she was still an agent, he instincts were telling her that something was amiss.

Outside the hotel Kol whispered into Caroline's ear:

"What is she doing here?"

Caroline shrugged.

Bonnie decided to stay put and see if there was any more suspicious activity. Half an hour later a sporty looking woman with her son came down and checked out. They looked familiar too, something about them in the face. Maybe she wasn't going mad, maybe she really did see the Mikaelson's. Bonnie had no authority here but she knew she couldn't just let them escape so she challenged them. As soon as the Mum made eye contact, she looked nervous but she was trying to hide it.

"Can I help you?" she asked in a French accent.

"Can I see some ID?" Bonnie asked.

"No" she denied, "My flight leaves soon"

"I'm from the FBI" Bonnie snapped, "So show your ID"

"Ze FBI has no jurisdiction here" she pointed out, "Good day Mademoiselle"

And with that, she and her son left the hotel. She was right; there was nothing she could do here but she could phone the FBI to watch the airports. Suddenly another odd pair exited the lift and went to check out. They looked like an outdoors kind of couple. The kind that likes camping or going on nature hike with unwilling and complaining children in-tow. Those two also looked familiar to her so she decided to approach them too. But this time she wasn't just going to confront them as she's done in the past. This time she would try a different tactic.

"Are you heading to the airport?" Bonnie tried to sound friendly.

A deep Louisiana accent came out of him. But she noticed the accent was too concentrated; it wasn't natural.

"Why, yes we are Miss" the man answered.

"Great" Bonnie pretended to sound relieved, "Can you give me a life please? I need to meet someone at the airport. Can you two kind people spare me a taxi?"

The couple looked awkward and Bonnie felt triumph blossom in her.

"I am terribly sorry" the man said, "Me and my wife don't have the room"

"Not even for a little one?" Bonnie pleaded.

"I'm afraid not" he denied, "My apologies"

They both left the hotel a little fast. She also noticed that the woman hardly said anything. It's also as if she couldn't compete with her companion's fake accent. Bonnie brought out her mobile and called Agent Salvatore's office. His irritating secutary answered the call.

"Agent Salvatore's office; his secutary speaking" came Cordelia's voice over the phone.

"It's Agent Bennett, I've got to get in contact with him right away" Bonnie ordered.

"Bonnie!" she beamed, "How's the holiday? Are you getting all tanned? The weather here is miserable; if it rains one more time I'll need a holiday. You know what I mean right? Are there any hot guys you've got your eye on? There is isn't there? Spill right away; I want to everything. How was it? What does he look like? Is he rich?"

"Miss Chase!" Bonnie cried, "Please put me through to Agent Salvatore; I'll talk later but this is important"

"Fine" Cordelia gave in sounding annoyed, "Agent Salvatore! Bonnie's on the other end!

She heard a scuffling as the phone switched hands.

"What is it?" Stefan asked.

"I know where the Mikaelson's are"

Davina woke up to the sound of music. It was playing a sharp tune outside of her cell. She coughed and got up shakily to see what it was. The sound flowed through her tight space like an enchanting spell waking the Princess from her sleep. She gathered that it was from a lute. It sound very old but it could still produce beautiful music. Her head suddenly got hit by a wave of pain. She let out a cry and sat down again. The music stopped and the she could hear the sound of the locks opening. Markos stood in the doorway looking slightly irritated.

"What is wrong?" Markos asked his prisoner.

"Apart being kidnapped and held in a dingy cell?" Davina snapped back sarcastically, "I'm doing fine"

Markos didn't appreciate the sarcasm.

Kol and Caroline walked through the airport. Neither of them were feeling confident about their plan. With the arrival of Agent Bennett they were sure that the plan would fail but they had no choice. They behaved like Caroline worked for him and Kol took full advantage. Once they were through the baggage claim and into the section with all the shops.

"We have half an hour until our flight Miss Lane" Kol used her alias, "Go and get me a cappuccino with extra foam, chocolate shavings and make it milky. I also want a blueberry muffin. Chop, chop girl"

Kol was smiling but Caroline was frowning. She muttered an 'I'll get you back for this' and left to get the order. The faster they get to China; the better.

Elijah and Henrik were drawing attention to themselves. Everyone was checking out the Goth in the heavy make-up. Elijah kept muttering to the boy that this was a ridiculous disguise and his sister-in-law only did it to humiliate him. Henrik didn't have to act too hard for his role because all the other kids were laughing at his 'Dad'. They were in W.H Smiths and they were looking for some reading material for the flight. Henrik picked a few comics that he liked. Elijah picked up some political and economic magazines.

"You can't buy that" Henrik pointed out.

"Why not?" Elijah asked his nephew.

"You're supposed to be a Goth so act like it" he suggested, "Read some heavy metal magazines"

Elijah rolled his eyes, as much as he hated to admit it; Henrik had a point. He had to act the part or this will never work. Unwillingly he put the serious magazines down and picked up some more appropriate ones. This was going to be a long flight.

Rebekah and Mikael were settling into their seats. Everyone was sitting down and sorting themselves out for a long flight. Her nephew sat by the window and played a game while Rebekah read a book she'd picked up at the duty-free. A middle-aged old woman stopped in front of them and took a good at them. She had brown going grey hair and a nice, warm smile.

"Is that your son?" she asked.

"Oui, Mademoiselle" Rebekah nodded.

"He's so sweet" she purred before she sat down.

"Who was that?" he asked his aunt.

"Some old lady" Rebekah explained.

It was silent for a few moments before Mikael spoke up.

"What going to happen to us if we're caught" he whispered into her ear.

The boy looked frightened and Rebekah sympathised with him.

"That is nothing for you to worry about" she told him.

He smiled at her and she smiled back. Rebekah was thinking that she was going to enjoy this flight.

Klaus and Elena were in mid-air; they'd been so for 2 hours now. Klaus was worried about his family and Elena was more worried about Elijah then she'd care to admit. She was watching something on the screen in front of her. He turned to see what it was and it was some Bulgarian soap opera. He was reading a magazine about hiking to put on a show. It was all dreadfully boring to him. There was announcement that dinner was going to be served. He wasn't looking forward to it. As someone who's never been outside first class in his life.

"What are you having?" Elena asked him pleasantly.

It was hard for two people who hate each other to pretend to be man and wife but they did it really well.

"Oh the choice" Klaus said sarcastically, "I think I shall go for the sausage and mash. What about you Darling"

Elena gave him a quick funny look but answered him anyway.

"I will have the same, Darling"

Klaus smiled back; feeling that the sooner he's back with his real wife; the happier he'll be.

"We've got a new destination" Agent Salvatore revealed at the meeting, "We're going to Cadiz"
