I am fucking shocked that the boss has finally decided to be done with the playroom and all the subs. I can't wait when the bitch asks him and he tells her. Of course she will still try to convince him he needs it and I am going to do everything in my power to convince him otherwise. I will even resort to locking him and Ana in a room together till the chemistry is too much and they act on it. Ok maybe I wont go that extreme but I will encourage him to talk to her. The clean up crew has removed everything out of the playroom and painted the room crisp white. It actually looks good. Tomorrow I have office furniture coming to occupy this room. I go to my wing were I know the love of my life is there waiting for me.
"Hello baby you are up late." I am surprised Gail is waiting for me.
"Taylor I was waiting for you."
"And why is that Mrs. Gail?"
"Because I missed you Mr Jason. Now tell me what was all that racket for?" I knew her curiosity is killing her and this makes me smile.
"Baby you will never believe me if I tell you but go to bed I will join you and tell you about my day and then you will understand." She is frowning at me but nods and goes to bed. I grab a quick shower and head to bed.
"Spill Taylor." Boy is she getting mad at me.
"Yes ma'am. Ok I told you the boss wanted to buy the property next to Elliot's right?" She nods yes.
"Well, we found out today that it is sold and the new owner refuses to sell. She has actually hired Elliot to do the construction of the new house. We tried to find out who she was and got nothing. It was like she did not exist. Then Elliot gave us her name and it got a little easier from there. But he also told us were she lived and this is the funny part babe. Remember I told you a few months ago we have a certain somebody that comes with a different car all the time and it is causing a security issue?" I raise my eyebrow asking her if she remembers.
"Yes, baby I remember you complaining to me you had put trackers on the cars but someone had some device called a scrambler or something and the trace was not working making you all run around in circles. That actually was very funny but yes I remember. What does this have to do with all the noise?"
"Yes, it was but we found out the same person who bought the plot in Bellevue owns the apartment below us, this is the same person with all the cars." Of course Gail is now laughing and I cant help smile to. This is a very weird situation.
"Are you serious?"
"As I will ever be."
"Who is she Jason?"
"That's were it gets interesting. We found out her name is Anastasia Steele and she is a 24yr old Forensic medical pathologist. So we waited for her in the parking garage so the boss could speak her. When her back was turned he reached out and grabbed her shoulder and it triggered a bad memory for her and she retaliated and kicked the wind out of him. Literally Gail she dropped him with one kick." Gail's eyes go so wide I can't help but laugh at her. Then she whispers making me laugh more.
"Jason what did he do?"
"That's the amazing part. He pulled himself together then he told her he understands her fears and he has a fear of being touched that triggers bad memories to. She apologized to him and he accepted her apology. Then they parted."
"Oh my that was definitely a break thru for him."
"That's not all." I see her eyes go huge and it makes me laugh again. She is such a gossip when it comes to Christian.
"What there is more?"
"Yes, we went to take a run and she was there also ready to run and he asked her if he could join her and she accepted. But fuck babe she is a machine. I didn't think I was going to last any longer if she carried on any further. When we got back he asked her if he could be her permanent running partner and she accepted. He was so happy. I have never seen him like this ever. He was smiling like a kid in a candy store. There is something about her that makes him better. I can't explain it Gail but you will see him tomorrow and you will know. Everything is so different with him. It's amazing actually. When we got back he made me hire a crew to remove the playroom and he said he was done with that lifestyle."
"I don't believe it. This is the best news I have ever heard." Just then I get a call from Welch saying someone has run a background check on the Greys and me and he cannot access the files so he has no idea what exactly was in them. He could not even tell me whom the files went to. The boss is not going to be happy about this. I need to keep this to myself until we can work out who has the files and what were in them. I also need to know what they intend to do with that information? Fuck this is a huge security fuck up.
The next few days go by without any drama. We run every morning with Ana and she puts us through our paces. It's Tuesday morning and something is very off with Ana. She is very detracted and she keeps looking around like she is looking for someone. This makes me very uneasy and when we get back to Escala I decide to be direct with her.
"Ana are you ok?"
"Oh yes Taylor. Why do you ask?"
"You seem very distracted and you keep looking around. Are you expecting someone?"
"No, but I have felt like someone has been watching me for a few days. I just get a bad feeling. I may just be over worked." I glance to the boss and he does not buy into it.
"Ana would you like to come up and share breakfast with me?" Finally the boss is making a move.
"That would be great Christian. Thank you.

Everything to do with Ana has been driving me crazy. I want her in my life like I have never wanted anyone. When she said she felt unsafe my instincts to protect her immediately went on high alert. I am trilled she is joining me for breakfast. This is a start in the right direction. When we get into my apartment I can see she is impressed with the size.
"Wow Christian this is one hell of an apartment."
"Thank you Ana. Come we can sit on the balcony and have breakfast it is a lovely day today." We had a great breakfast and are enjoying each others company when her phone rings. I get to listen to a one-sided conversation but realize its Elliot on the other end. I have never had a normal time like this with a women before and it's an incredible feeling. I just feel so alive.
"Hello…Yes of course….Oh my Elliot….Yes I already gave notice and have to have them removed by Friday the latest…. No you do not have to do that for me I will come up with another plan…. Ok... Are you sure? I do not want to inconvenience you or your family….. You are a life saver Elliot. Yes, later is brilliant. Thank you….. Yes I would love to go with you'll if my roommate can join us...Yes we were planning to go anyway… The more company the better….. Yes ok see you soon Bye." I smile at her and she blushes. She is so cute.
"And what did my brother want?" I ask as playful as I can without sounding jealous.
"He had arranged containers for me to park my cars in, so I gave notice at the storage garage. Now he called to say the containers can only be here in 2 weeks time but he has already arranged for me to use some of your parents garages and his in Bellevue. So that's 7 and I have 2 here that's 9. The others I will find a suitable place for them."
"Wow Ana back the fuck up. That is a shit load of vehicles for one person. Why don't you park the rest at GEH? We have the top of the range security so they will be safe."
"That would be wonderful Christian you are a life saver. Thank you." Does she not realize I would do anything to get that smile on her face.
"Ana would you like to spend the day with me?"

I have just had breakfast with Christian and it was so lovely. I am getting sad as the time ticks away because I don't want this morning to end. So when he asks me to spend the day with him I am trilled.
"Christian that would be great but I have to move my cars today with Elliot." I can see the excitement in his eyes by the mention of my cars. This is a typical male responce. Elliot reacted this way to.
"Ana, Taylor and I can help you move them. It will be quicker with all 4 of us." How can I ever say no to him when he is so excited. He is like a kid on christmas morning.
"Yes it will. Ok I will collect my truck and trailer first because some of them are not allowed on the highway. They are just collectables. Then we can all go and move them together. I am meeting Elliot here in one hour so let me get dressed and we can meet in the parking garage."
"Ok perfect see you there." As I stood up I realized how close I was to Christian and before I even knew what was happening I was in his arms and we were in the most passionate kiss I have ever had. I didn't want it to ever end. Then my brain kicked in and I knew I could never be what he wanted and I pulled away.
"Christian that was amazing and I didn't want it to ever end but I cant." I can see the confusion on his face.
"Ana why ever not? I am attracted to you and I know you feel the same way about me."
"Yes, I do but..."
"But what? I do not understand."
"Christian can we talk about this tonight? We are having dinner together and we may need a lot more time than we have now." I can see he is doubting me but I need to be strong.
"Ok later but we will talk about this."
"Yes we will. See you just now." I leave feeling like I am on cloud nine but know it will never last. I will enjoy it while I can but the shoe will fall soon and I will be back to being all alone once again. Sometimes life is just not fair.
