I am laughing because why the hell would Alex teach her how to hack? This is not even normal.
"Are you laughing at me Mr. Grey?" She asks but I can tell she is not angry.
"Never baby. Its Alex that has me laughing." She is fucking brilliant at it and fuck me she is typing again. It is a dangerous tool for her to have. Then my phone rings. I don't even get to acknowledge the call and he is talking already.
"Sir. Fuck. I don't know what is happening?" Welch has never sounded so panicked before. What the fuck?
"Welch please calm the fuck down. I am putting you on speaker. Ok carry on."
"Sir GEH has ben hacked. 3 Billion is transferred out of the account and we have tried everything to trace it and we can't sir. The money is gone. Whoever this fucker is he is good sir." I can hear he is panicking and I look over to Ana and she has on the most innocent smile on her face. What the fuck has she done?
"Ana baby did you hack into my Company?" I ask with amusement.
"Sir who are you taking to?" Fuck I forgot about Welch.
"Oh sorry Welch this is my girlfriend Anastasia. Ana this is my It guy Welch."
"Hello welch are you having problems there?"
"Hello Ana. It's good to meet you. Yes Ana we are. I am sorry for my bad language but I am stressed. This fucker is going down as soon as I catch him."
"Are you sure its a man Welch?" She asks and I can hear the hesitation on Welch's side.
"Ana were is my money?" I know she has something to do with this.
"Oh Christian I don't know. Isn't that Welch's job to tell you?" I can't help laugh. She is so fucking with me.
"Ana stop with the games you made your point." I say seriously and she types again with rapid speed and then smiles at me. I hate anyone messing with my company but this is Ana. She would never do anything to hurt me.
"Sir it is back in your account with a profit of $1.2 Million sir. I don't know what the fuck just happened sir but its better than it was before. This fucker is goo. Oh Fuck boss its Ana isn't it? She done this? She got passed all our passwords and firewalls? Oh Fuck Ana I am sorry I said those things about you. Sir I did not know it was just such a shock and…and…" This is just so fucked up. Of course I don't blame Welch.
"Welch calm the fuck down. It's all ok."
"Sir do you mind bringing Ana over to meet me?" I want to fire the fucker for that comment.
"Yes I mind now fuck off and do your job."
"Yes sir.. Uhm..Ana I cant wait to meet you. I hope it is soon." He stutters and fuck me if my girl does not have another admire.
"Thank you Welch. See you soon." She says. Not if I can help it.
"Ana what the hell was that?"
"The only way to make my point." She says with a smug grin.
"Fine you made your point now what did you do with my money to make me such a profit in so little time?"
"Now I can't tell you that but it is not illegal but it is cheating the system." She says smugly as Taylor walks in.
"Sir the trash is out." The fucker is smiling. I can tell he is pleased with himself.
"Thank you Taylor. Now I heard Elena threaten Ana in the garage. Do you know if Elliot and Kate heard to?" He is looking at me like I am talking a different language.
"Sir I know for a fact we do not have sound down there so how did you hear?" I smile at Ana and she laughs. She pulls up the surveillance and rewinds and shows Taylor. He is standing there smiling and shaking his head.
"Fuck Ana. How did you do that?"
"Trade secret Taylor. My dad taught me never to give away all my tricks."
"No way Ana you cannot keep that to yourself." He says seriously but I know my girl is not going to fold.
"Watch me. Now can we please go and eat I am starving. Oh and by the way Taylor there is a parcel from Morton for me at the security desk that Christian wont allow me to go and get."
"Well I agree with him. I will go secure it before I bring it up." He leaves and we go to have dinner. We are all eating and having a good time. Finally peace and quiet. I know Taylor will not rest till he figures out how she got sound in the parking garage.
"So tell me Alex why the fuck did you teach this women to hack?" Him and Ana both start to laugh making me instantly smile. They have such a good relationship. Just makes me want to try harder with Elliot.
"Well, Christian I didn't teach her. She learnt on her own."
"What do you mean?"
"I was 18 when I met Ana chilling in the park reading a forensic book. I went up to her and told her that little girls should not be reading books like that. That made her laugh for the first time since the incident. We became best friends ever since." What the fuck does he mean best friends?
"Wait so you two are not family?" Now I am pissed. Why the hell would they lie about something like this? Ana said he is her brother.
"Yes we are like you and Elliot are family. But no we are best friends. Anyway from then we were inseparable. When she told me some of what happened to her I showed her how miserable I could make Morton's life. I would hack into his bank accounts and clean him out. We would then open credit cards in his name and I would take Ana on shopping sprees. He finally got smart enough and changed his identity. So I guess, Ana learnt by sitting watching me all that time." I think my jaw might be on the floor listening to Alex speak about this. I can't believe all the things he has done to keep her safe and also happy.
"Very impressive. So were do you work and live Alex?"
"Sorry Christian but I can't say were I work because that it is classified information but I can tell you I now live with Ana. I moved in today." Oh I don't know if I like this setup now that I know they are not related. Fuck how am I going to deal with this? I think Ana senses my discomfort because she gently slips her delicate hand into mine and squeezes.
"Ok I can understand that. Have you and Anastasia ever has anything romantic?" I am almost holding my breath waiting for the answer.
"Christian what is wrong with you? Can I ask you have Mia and you ever?" Ana practically shouts at me as she snatchers her hand from mine. Fuck she has a point but the truth is they are not related.
"Hell no Ana. How can you ask me that?"
"Exactly. That is the same way Alex and I are. So the answer is no. Alex's parents are the closest thing I have to a family and they love me for me. When I lost Ray they were there for me everyday. Without them I don't know were I would be. They are my family Christian and I would not give that up for anything. They are all I have besides a dead beat mom who only needs me at convenient times and now I have you." Hearing her talk like that makes me think were would I be without the Greys. I can understand were she is coming from. I got this funny feeling in the pit of my stomach when she made that last statement. I am trilled she sees me as an important part of her life. Just then Ana's cell rings and we get half a conversation but I can tell she is called into work and I am not happy about it especially at 9pm with that Fucker on the loose.
"Sorry guys I have to cut this evening short but I need to run a scene and yes I will take Luke with me."
"Ana you will take Luke and Taylor." She gives me a dirty look then looks at Alex and something I don't understand crosses her face and she folds.
"Ok Luke and Taylor will come with me. Thank you for dinner I will see you tomorrow." What the fuck was that? I will find out.
"It's a pleasure. Let me walk you down." I walk her to the parking garage and am shocked when she does not complain to travel with Taylor in my SUV. Taylor loads her kit and I kiss her goodbye and she leaves for work. We have also decided the state fair will be suicide for us to take Ana to so we all agreed to do something else with our time. Taylor was very relieved to here this piece of news.
I decide it was time to have a man to man chat with Alex so he knows were I stand but when I get back up to my apartment he is gone already so I decide to go to there apartment instead. Fuck I hate that Ana is living with another man. I knock on the door and he answers the door wearing only a jeans and I hate to say it but its going to be fucking hard knowing Ana is living with him here. Well at least Kate will be here to.
"Christian, come on in." He says stepping back so I can enter.
"Thanks Alex." I walk in and am surprised that there seems to be packing going on.
"What's with all the boxes in the passage?" I ask but he just waves his hand like it means nothing.
"Oh that. Kate is moving out tomorrow. Her father bought her a place of her own." Oh hell fucking no. This is getting worse.
"Do you mind me asking why is it you have all of a sudden decided to move in with Ana?"
"I don't mind. Firstly I sold my flat and needed a place to stay. Secondly I have knows for 3 weeks now that Morton was in town but I could not tell Ana or she would have freaked out so I moved in here to keep an eye on her and keep her safe. When I found out who she was dating I was a bit more at ease because I know you will protect her but my place was already sold." Ok that makes sense. Fuck I am being a real ass.
"I see, ok but what are we going to do about Morton?"
"Come and check this out." I follow him into what looks like a study but It's actually a surveillance room like mine.
"I have set up surveillance around every entrance to this building and will be monitoring it 24hours. If someone resembling Morten's description passes any one of my cameras I get an instant email of the footage." Just then his email goes and we see Morton at the front desk. We both run down and its to late he is gone already. There is another letter for Ana and this time there are pictures of her at the different crime scenes. This makes me angry because he is trying to show us he has the upper hand. I email Taylor to update him so they can keep an extra close eye on her. I am not letting anything happen to her ever.
