Iori's Conflict

Few weeks has pass since the dance. Ema thought about the dance constantly and thought about how her family was so loving. The pictures that Ukyo took from her camera are just amazing. She admire every single one. The ponytail beauty wish to have another memorable moment with her family once again.

Early that morning, Ema walk downstairs to the kitchen surprisingly no one was there. Which was odd to her because every morning she always smell an aroma from the kitchen and hear laughter from the Asahina brothers. This morning their was nothing. You could guess it was a ghost town. As her chocolate eyes wonder the room she notice something unusual outside. She walk closer to the window and gasp.

"Snow?" Ema whispered. Her hand place on the enormous window in the living room,watching snowflakes fall.

Out of no where you here laughter coming from outside. Ema left the living room and went outside to the backyard.

She see's Wataru, Tsubaki, Azusa, Masaomi and Kaname standing on the snow.

"What's going on?" The beauty ask while she see's her breath. All the brothers look behind them. Tsubaki became excited and practically jump on top of her. "Ema-chan!"

"Woah!" Ema scream about to slip from all the commotion and Tsubaki wrap his arm around her little waist and fell on top of her on the icey snow.

"Haha you okay, cutie?" breath came across on Ema's face and Tsubaki is so close.

"EE! Y-yes!" Ema shouts with embarrassment.

"Mm I love the view right now. I hope I am warming you up?" Tsubaki winked at her but it got ruined by Azusa gripping his jacket and pulled him up violently. "Hey! Azusa come on!" Flirty white hair male whined to his twin.

"Tsubaki get real. She is now frozen to the bone." Aszusa says being annoyed and watching his breath.

"Big sis! Let's make a snow angel together!" Wataru came running toward the ponytail girly and laid right next to her. He is moving his arms and legs up and down.

"Wataru your not wearing proper clothes." Ukyo scolded. Masaomi put his hand on his arm to reassure him.

"It's okay, he can get change when he is done." The caring doctor said while watching his youngest brother enjoying the snow.

Ema finally got up and felt snow in her shirt and tried shaking it off. "Brrrrr! Why is it snowing? We are in the middle of Spring."

"Well young lady, for some reason around this certain time of year it snows. It has been this way for three years now." Kaname says while colliding his arms in his rob to get warmth.

"Really? I must have forgotten...how long will it last?" Ema question while shivering to the bone.

"It might last for awhile, until then you all have to dress warm." Ukyo says shivering.

"Come on Azusa lets go sliding!" Tsubaki cheers while tugging his twin brother's arm.

"I will pass." Azusa says while walking away he is about to go inside until Tsubaki open his mouth.

"Oh well his lost. Want to go sledding with me Ema? It will be fun!" He gets closer to her again. Ema cheeks are starting to get more red.

"On second thought yeah Tsuabki let's go sledding." Azusa says while grinning.

"I want to go too! Can I Big sis!" Wataru gaze to Ema hoping she will agree.

"Haha sure why not! Let's all go inside and wear warmer clothing." Ema smiles to little Wataru.

After that being said Wataru ran back inside while Masaomi was following him. Ukyo hurried going back inside with Kaname. The twin's race inside too see who can change quicker. When Ema was about to step inside she look up at a window and saw a shadow. She didn't know who it was but she felt like someone was watching.

As Ema is in her room changing out of her wet clothes. Juli jumps on her bed watching her decide which coat she should wear.

"Your thinking of playing in the snow, Chii?" Juli asked curiously.

"Yeah I hardly played in the snow when I was little. I had no one to play with but now I do. I think it will be fun." She turns to him showing two coats one purple polka dotted and the other dark pink with black fur around the hoodie. "Which one?"

"Mm I like the pink one. But Chii please don't play in the snow too long I don't want you too get sick." Juli ruffle his tail and gave her a worried face.

"Hehe don't worry Juli, I will be fine. I will make some hot coco later." Girly said while slipping into her dark pink coat and putting on her black UGGS. "Alright I am off."

She closed the door behind her and about to walk in the hall till she saw Iori leaning on the wall not looking too well. Ema got worried and walked toward him while placing her hand on his back. "Iori are you okay?"

Iori jumped and turn to the worry Ponytail girly. "Y-yes...I am okay I...was just going to my room..."

"But...is your room in another direction?" Ema asked being concern. She can tell something seems weird about him.

"Oh...your right sorry. I guess I am tired..." Iori says softly. He is crunching his chest hard and his greyish eyes were shut.

"I-Iori...let me get Masaomi to check up on you!" she was about to leave until Iori grab her arm and gave her sad look.

"N-No...please...I am fine...just fatigue is getting the best of me..."

"Okay then let me take you too your room." Ema put her arm around Iori and he did the same.

The two walk into Iori's room. Ema has not been into his room before. The walls are grey and there is a queen size bed it look like he hasn't slept in it for a day. It concern Ema of that thought. She continue to browse the room and saw some plants around the room and their is a bookshelf full of books about taking care of plants and growing herbs. She notice a picture on top on the shelf but couldn't picture what it's. She was more focus getting Iori to his bed. Iori slump on his bed breathing little heavy. Ema place her hand on his forehead and her chocolate eyes widen.

"You have a fever!" Ema shouted in worry tone.

"I will be okay...help me get into my bed please..." he says breathlessly.

Ema grab the silky sheets and guided him to get into his bed and place the sheets over him. " I will get you bucket of water and place a wet towel on your forehead." Before she can walk away Iori grab a hold of her hand and pull her close to him.

"No...don't leave me please..." His eyes sadden while he is breathing heavily.

"Oh okay..." Ema says nervously.

Iori pulled his sheets up giving her a sign to come and cuddle him. This surprise the heck out of Ema and she blushed hysterically. "N-No I can't..."

"It will make me feel better...please..." The prince said kindly and sent chills down too Ema's back.

She oblige and cuddle against Iori. He wrapped his arms around her making a relief sound. "Mmm." It's making Ema a lot hotter. She was still cold of what happened to her awhile ago but now she is all warm up.

Ponytail girly doesn't understand why Iori is acting this way. It's unusual for him to want to be touch because she recalled last time she tried giving him a hug on the night of the dance and he became very weird about it. She wonder why now...?

"Mm you're so cozy...just like I remember..." he says half asleep.

(What?) Ema thought confusingly. She waited for him too say more.

"That night...we cuddle like this you told me you were in love with me...it made me so happy...I love you Fuyaka." Iori says softly in his sleep.

Ema froze up and her eyes widen in shock. (What...who is Fuyaka...?)

Ema wanted to wake up Iori she has been in this same position for whole twenty minutes. She could not take the anxiety! Her heart keeps beating so fast and her face feels like it's on fire. Suddenly, a knock was made.

*Knock* Knock*

"Iori may I come in?"

(Is that Kaname? OMG he is going to flip out when he sees us right now!) Ema tried getting out of his grip but he is too strong not wanting to let go.

"Iori I know you're in there. Please let me in or I will welcome myself in."

The door knob was slowly turning and Ema's eyes continue to get bigger and bigger like a cat's eyes.

"Kaname-nii!"

"What is it Tsubaki?"

Ema listens from outside the hallway.

"I can not find Ema-chan! We been looking for her everywhere."

"You sure she is not outside?"

"No Azusa and I already check the whole property no sign of her."

"Alright I will go help you look for her."

Footsteps are walking away.

Ema sighed in relief. "Thank goodness..."

"Mm." Iori made the sound and his greyish eyes slowly open.

"Hey...sleepy head..." She says awkwardly.

Iori looks down at his shoulder and notice what he is doing and he gets up quickly flustered about it.

"E-Ema! What are you doing here! Where am I...!" Iori looked around and calm down when he realized he is in his room.

"Umm you were having a fever so I brought you into your room. Then you ask me to cuddle with you...So I guess you were hallucinating?" Ema blushed with embarrassment and slowly got out of his bed.

"I am so sorry Ema. I don't know what happened...please forgive me." Iori says apologetic.

"N-No your okay, I am hoping you feel better?" Ema reached her hand toward his forehead. Yet again he jumped feeling her touch.

"I am fine...don't worry. Thank you for looking out for me." Iori says being shy.

"Yeah...I could go get Masaomi." Ema suggested.

"No that's okay. I will just sleep the whole entire day, you have good rest of your day." Iori smiled like a prince.

"Alright...I will check up on you soon." Ema says being concern but not showing it. She open the door and closed it behind her. Ponytail girly slide down to the bottom of the floor. She knows something is wrong...

Later that night it was dinner time. Everyone was present at the table except for Iori.

"Where's Iori?" Yusuke asked.

"He is resting." Kaname chime in while sipping some hot tea.

"Oh but I would hate for him to miss dinner..." Ukyo says worriedly.

"We can check up on him later." Masaomi suggested.

Ema thought of talking to Masaomi of what happened but she feel's like it might make a bigger commotion then it has to be.

"Big sis can we have a snowball fight tomorrow?" Wataru asked while sipping his chicken noodle soup.

"Sure I would love too." Ema smiled.

"By the way Ema, where were you earlier Azusa and I tried finding you. I was really looking forward of sledding with you!" Tsubaki whined while staring down at his soup sadly.

"Ha maybe she would rather sled with me." Fuuto says with a devilish smile.

"In your dreams pretty boy." Yusuke says muttering while chugging his soup.

"Want to repeat that panty looker?" Fuuto smirk.

Yusuke spit out his whole entire soup and landed all over Hikaru.

"Damn it! Now I have to redo my make up!" Hikaru says being piss off.

All the brothers laugh their butts off except for the embarrassment Yusuke.

While commotion was lively Ema could not stop thinking about Iori...

At three in the morning Ema woke up randomly she didn't know why...she gaze in her dark room noticing Juli sleeping on her side. She gaze at her window and more snow continue to fall. (I should go and get a glass of water.)

Girly walk down the stairs in the darkness but she notice someone is in the shadows. She squinted her eyes and notice who it was...it's Iori. What he was doing was dangerous...he is holding on a long necklace and put it around his neck and about to do the unthinkable... Ema made a creek sound on the floor and it made Iori stop what he was doing.

"Who is there?" Iori whispered with alertness.

"Ema." she walks closer to him and Iori form a smile. "What are you doing up? You should be in bed." he looked serious but it made Ema worry more.

"I...was getting a glass of water..." She says softly.

"Oh alright. Well I am going off to bed goodnight." he walk pass her pretending nothing happened. This is scaring Ema a lot.

Next day, the snow became more heavy no one was allowed to leave their homes. Wataru became disappointed of not having his snowball fight. So Ema made it up too him by drawing pictures with him in the living room. That is where everyone is. The brother's are watching the news.

"I am so piss! I was supposed to go Europe and perform." Fuuto says grumpy. He sat next to Ema while laying his head on her lap.

It made Ponytail girly blushed while staring down.

"Got a problem for me doing this?" his devilish smile form staring at the dumbstruck girly.

"I do!" Yuusuke and Tsubaki chime in kicking Fuuto butt.

"Where is Iori?" Subaru asked while stretching his arms out on the couch.

"Don't you remember? Iori never appears when it's snowing." Azusa said looking directly at Subaru.

(What?) Ema looked at Azusa then at Kaname when he snaps.

"Be quiet Azusa." Kaname says in a strict tone.

The whole room fell into silent.

"I am going to check up on him." Kaname stated while leaving the attention in the room.

"What was that about?" Yusuke question.

No one could not answer his question.

Out of no where their are loud stomping coming back from upstairs. Everyone looked up and saw Kaname's face looking pale.

"What's wrong!" Ukyo asked in a worried tone.

"Iori is missing!" Kaname shouts in a panic.

"WHAT!" Everyone shouts while getting up and looking for him in the whole entire house.

Ten minutes later...

"Has anyone found him!?" Kaname shouts surrounded by his brothers.

"No he is no where to be found." Masaomi says worriedly.

"You don't think he is outside right...?" Ukyo asked.

"He would not be that stupid right!" Fuuto shouts with anger.

"It doesn't matter we got to check." Louis suggested.

"Alright everyone get dress quickly!" Masaomi order and all the brothers ran upstairs. He looked at Ema. "Ema you need to stay here and watch Wataru. It's too dangerous for you two to go out there."

"But!" Ema shouted.

"No but's please do not leave the house." Masaomi has never been strict to Ema before.

"Okay..." she nodded while holding on too Wataru.

All the brothers went outside in the crazy snow. Ema pace around the whole entire living room it's making Wataru more worried.

"Don't worry big sis...Iori-nii will be found..." Wataru is trying to keep it together.

"Your right..." she takes a deep breath.

"We should go and help!" Wataru says determinedly.

"No...it's too dangerous. We have stay here..." Ema says sadly. She wish she can join the search.

"Then you should go. I believe you will be the one too find him big sis...Iori-nii needs you..." Wataru says while shedding tears.

Ema gave him a strong hug and took his words too heart. "Your right, I need to find him. Promise me you will stay here. Juli will keep you company."

Juli nodded with reassurance.

Ema ran upstairs getting dress she wear two long sleeve shirt's, wear her dark pink winter coat. While wrapping around her tan scarf too neck too mouth. Wearing a white hat, pants and UGGS.

She step foot outside and a gush of wind swirl around her. Ema has never experience this kind of cold before. It didn't matter too her she wants to find Iori.

Ponytail girly had no idea where she was going she left the Sunshine residence and walk into town. It look like a ghost town.

"IORI WHERE ARE YOU!" Ema shouted with will power. But it felt like it was nothing by the loud swirl of wind. Her eyes were shut and the wind made her fall down tumbling down a hill.

As her body landed on the hard snow. She see's her breath appearing and more cold was taking over her. (Where are you...Iori...I need to find you...no matter what...) Ema slowly got back up and continue walking. She came across a place and wonder around. It look like a graveyard. It gave her more goose bumps.

As she continue to walk an image appears in her chocolate eyes. She squinted and hoping it's Iori. Ema walked closer and it was Iori kneeling down by a grave crying his heart.

"IORI!" Ema shouts. she was about to run toward him but his voice made her stop.

"NO! Don't come any closer!" Iori shouted too beat the whistle wind.

"Please Iori! Come back! Everyone is worried sick about you. Come home you will die out here!" Ema shouts more.

The prince got up and turned to Ema. His eyes are pure icy and has no apathy whatsoever. He is shaking to the bone his hands are pure red same with his face. You can tell he has been outside for longtime with no proper clothing.

"Don't you get it...I am supposed to die, I don't deserve to live." His words were cold as the snow.

It made Ema's heart sting. "W-why on earth would you say that! Of course you're supposed to live!" Ema felt like crying. She can not believe what she is hearing.

"Last year...on this day I should of die. Their was no point for Fukuya to die!" Iori punch the ground with anger. "It should have been me in the car not her! Fuyaka wanted too see me...I was very sick...Instead she got in a car accident!"

Now Ema knew the truth Fuyaka was Iori's girlfriend. She died on this day on a dark snowy night.

"I am sorry what happened...but you have a life! Think about your brothers? They love you so much. They would miss you Iori more then you know...Please don't ever think...of taking your life away...Because..." Ema is about to have a mental breakdown. "I...sob...I...you're...so...important...to...me...I...could...sob...never...bare...of...loosing...you...!"

Iori eyes widen and look at the upset Ema. She lost feeling of her legs and landed on the snow crying away. It burns her face by the tears. "Fuyaka...would want you too live your life. She loves you that much...We are all here for you Iori. Because we are family always and forever..."

Iori had more tears coming he walked over to Ema kneel down next too her and embrace her. She can feel little warmth from him. She wrapped her cold arms around him. For once he did not pull away he stayed.

"IORI! EMA!" they hear shout's.

Ema could not wait for them to arrive she slowly loosing conscious.

Iori realized it and started shouting. "EMA! EMA! E-" That is when she couldn't hear nothing.

Eventually, Ema slowly open her eyes and saw Iori by her bedside holding on too her hand. Sleeping on the edge of the bed. "Iori...?"

It alerted the prince he look up at her and form a relief smile. "Thank goodness! You're okay..."

"Where am I...?" Ema says softly.

"In your room, the coldness was getting too you in the extreme...Ema you could have died."

The words 'die' scared the living heck out of Ema.

"Masaomi-nii had to eject a shot into you to keep your heart beating." Iori squeeze her hand tightly.

"I can't believe it...are you okay...?" Ema says worriedly.

"Yes, at first I wasn't but I got better. You have been out for two days. The snow storm is over you're going to the hospital to get examined." Iori had a sad face of what he is about too say."Ema...I am sorry I put you in danger. Maybe...it's best you stay away from me..." he said in a hurtful tone about to get up until Ema grab his arm.

"No! I...need you." Ema voice was genuine and heartfelt. "Promise me you will never leave."

"I promise I will never leave. You open my eyes that I do have something to live for..." Iori was about to get closer to Ema's face. They were about to close their eyes, until all the brothers show up.

"EMA! YOU ARE OKAY!" all the brothers shouted in joy.

For now, Iori will keep what he is living...because he is looking directly at Ema. He realized that he can open his heart once again.

Author notes-OMG OMG OMG! I am sooo sorry for the lonnnnnng wait! I made Iori's conflict so long as an apology to you readers! I hope you guys enjoy his conflict! If none of you guys read his Wiki, then you should. I learned a lot more from him. Like about his X girlfriend Fuyaka for example he truly did love her but she died in a car accident. I made it my own twist by the snow resembling her death and him visiting his grave telling Ema the truth that was my own. I feel bad for Iori a lot...he is a good person and I wish they went more character development in the anime...hopefully season two may come around! Anyway thank you so much for reading and for your support! :P

Next chapter will be in summer! The Asahina family will go to a private beach reserve from Miwa. So it will be about the beach and many more! But...I will take a request of which guy would spend more time with Ema and who would get in the way XD If you guys want too tell me then review it please!
