Chapter 18: Truth and Louis's Conflict

It's the last full day for the Asahina family's vacation. Ema wants to make sure that the last day will be the best out of all these days she has been here. She can't wait to go back home and see Juli again. This was the very first vacation she has ever been part of. It saddens her that this will be the last day to see everyone.

The family is sitting outside enjoying their last breakfast together. Everyone is in good spirts until Louis cellphone starts ringing. As the hairstylist looks at his phone his eyes widen in surprised as he gets up to be far away from the table. After the phone call was finished Louis walks back to the table and makes an announcement to his family.

"May I have your attention please?" Louis shyly blurts out loud.

The family looks up to give Louis his full attention. The one that replies sweetly is Miwa, "Of course, what is it my son? Is everything alright?"

"Yes, that was Bijou that just called me. She is coming here to see everyone, hope that is okay with you mother?" Louis blushed while rubbing his long hair to the side.

"Bijou is coming!? Of course she is like family!" Miwa expressed excitedly as she swings her wine glass.

Then everyone started to talk again, sharing how excited they are to see Bijou.

"How exciting that she is coming Louis." Masaomi grinned to his brother as he takes a sip of his orange juice.

Kaname let out a chuckle of what his older brother said as he added more, "Every time we see her, I can smell macaroon off of her. My, what a delightful woman she is." Kaname grinned at his brother.

"I love her hugs so much!" Wataru blurts out with excitement.

Each brother and cousin made a comment about this Bijou person. Ema was very confused. She kept thinking to herself if it's another cousin? Long lost sister? Or…girlfriend? It's strange that no one in her family ever shares of what kind of family they have. Just a while ago the discovery of having cousins was a huge shock to her. Ema tries to not take it personal but, she can't help herself.

"Bonjaur la famille Asahina!"

The whole family turned to faced the entrance and there was Bijou standing there smiling. Her skin is white as snow, long blonde hair toward her hips while a blue bow hand band was in place, the color of her eyes is dark blue, and her outfit was a long white frilly dress with blue knee high-stockings. Miwa got out of her chair and greeted the young lady with a kiss on the check's and gave her a heartwarming hug.

"Bijou my dear, what a surprised to see you here! How have you been?" Miwa cup the young woman's face and Bijou blushed of Miwa's kindness and smiled shyly.

"I have been pleasant thank you…I had business here with my father and Louis told me that your family is here on vacation." Bijou gazed at Louis and she was speechless for a while until Louis walked up to her and reached to kissed her hand.

"Je suis heureux de vous voir, Bijou." Louis smiled as he looks at Bijou.

Soon each brother went up and gave Bijou a warm welcome. Ema sat there at the table with the cousins. As the Ponytail beauty watched this scene in silence seeing them all being so happy with Bijou. Watching Wataru hugging her multiple times, Tsubaki wrapping his arm around her while Azusa hits him on the head, Ukyo shaking her hand and then hugging her. Ema felt…jealously. Jealously of another girl being friendly with her family.

"That's Bijou Archibald."

Ema looks across from her and its Raiden the sixth cousin with his light red hair and sapphire eyes. Ema really likes Raiden because he is very kind too her and he has been helping her with some cooking lessons because he is a pastry chef. They have become close.

"Raiden who is she? I have never heard about her before. Is she their sister?" Ema questioned. Truthfully this is making her uneasy and hoping that she is nothing more than a family friend.

"No, she is not related to none of them." Raiden looked at both Louis and Bijou closely and Ema notice his stare and looked as well. As Ema kept looking she notice something and her eyes widen.

"Are…they dating?"

"That I do not know. I know long ago, they were together all the time. Bijou came to visit them often. But for a while now she has stop. So, it's hard to say." Raiden looked at Ema and he sighed then smiled. "Why don't you join them? Bijou is nice you have nothing to worry about."

Ema knew Raiden was right, she should at least introduce herself. So Ponytail girly went up to her family. Louis notice and smiled and extend his hand, "Chii this is Bijou."

"Nice too meet you Bijou, I am Ema Hinata." Ema bowed to her with a friendly smile. What caught her off guard is the look Bijou gave to Ema.

Then Bijou became confused and questioned, "Wait I thought your name was Chii?"

Louis chuckle and explained, "I am sorry that is her nickname..She is apart of my family now. Our parents got married yesterday." Then Louis gave Ema a loving side hug.

Bijou put on a poker face and then applaud her hands, "I wish I was there to witness the occasion. I am glad you are part of the family Ema. The Asahina family are splendid. Their so good too me."

Louis grabbed Bijou hair and let the silk of her hair glide of his fingers, "Of course, you are family too Bijou."

Bijou eyes sparkle as she gives Louis a loving stare, the only one that notice was Ema.

Few hours later

Ema was in the hotel room packing her things until someone knock on the door.

"Bonjaur it's Bijou."

Ponytail girly walked toward the door and witness the young lady, "May I have a moment of your time?"

"Yes! Come in." Ema moved her clothes off the two chairs and both of the women sat there.

"So...Ema. How long have you been acquainted to the Asahina family?" Bijou asked with curiosity as she lays her purse on the table.

Ema thought long and hard, "Almost a year. I have been living there at the condo for almost that long. I never felt part of a loving family before, because it was just my dad and I."

Bijou nodded and place her hands on the table, "I see, well I don't know how much you know about me. But I have known the Asahina family as long as I was a little girl. Louis and I grew up together, those were the best times. His brother's became my brothers you can say." Her expression changed where it became dark. "Also, I carry a secret."

Ema didn't understand why Bijou is telling her all of this but it's very strange. But, the Ponytail girly kept listening to the young lady.

"Louis and I were together." Bijou clench her dress tightly as she continue, "He is the love of my life, and we shared a moment that we will both never will forget. Even though we are no longer together, we still kept in touch. But what I couldn't understand...was he has stop reaching out too me. I wonder because it was you."

Ema felt this guilt and troubled at the same time. "Bijou...I don't understand. If this is a secret, then why are you telling me this...? You just met me."

"Because, now you and Louis are family now. I saw the way he looked at you...it was the same look he gave me long ago. If you two ever become a real couple then I have no choice but to tell Miwa. That includes the other brothers. Whatever you do, do not fall in love with them. It will bring you great pain...like it did to me." Bijou got up and was about too leave. "Ema Hinata, I will be watching you closely."

...

"I...don't understand. Why would she say all that to me?" Ema said out loud in her quiet hotel room. "I...need to see my father."

As Ponytail girly left the room and arrived in front of Rinatorau's and Miwa's Suite the door was cracked open and she can hear them talking to each other.

"Darling, do you think it's time to tell Ema the truth?" Miwa expressed in a worried voice.

"Honey I don't know if I can ever tell her...How can I say to my only daughter that she isn't my blood. That I adopted her when she was a baby." Rinatoru said in a frustrated voice.

Ema's hand was on the door and it push on open and the married couple looked and they shared the horror expression. "Ema...!"

Ema Hinata was standing there shaking and couldn't process of what is happening. Her chocolate eyes looked at her father and all she can see is pain in his eyes. Ema couldn't face this so she turned around and run as fast as she can to escape this unfair fate.

Ema ran out of the hotel and she didn't care where she would go. As long it's far, far away. She arrived at an abandon park and was all alone. Then out of no where it started to rain hard.

"I don't understand! How can he not be my father!?" Ema screamed so loud where it matches the hard rain sound as it lands on the ground. Her cries were just as loud as her heart ache so much that the pain was so unbearable. "I guess I was never supposed to be part of a family...I was born to be alone..."

"EMA!"

Ema heard her name and she whispered of that voice, "Yusuke...?"

Yusuke ran up too her as he was soaked as he was huffing and puffing air, "I have been looking all over for you! Our parents told us that you ran out being upset. Are you okay!?" Yusuke puts his hands on her shoulders but she moves away from him.

"Yusuke...please leave me alone. I am not coming back..." Ema tries to walk off but, Yusuke walks in front of her and looks at her face and he can tell that she is very upset about something.

"I don't understand! And no I am not leaving you alone! I don't know what's wrong, but we are going back to our family." Yusuke tries to reason to Ema but she kept fighting back.

"Don't you see! I don't have a family! I was alone from the very start!" Ema cries out so loud that it taken Yusuke back of her behavior.

"What are you talking about! You are apart of-" The red head got cut off of his sentence.

"I am not Rintarou's daughter! Him and I are not blood related...He adopted me! All these years he lied to me..." Her chocolate eyes disappearing as she closes them so tight, " Did he ever love me!?"

Yusuke was silent as he watched Ema fall apart in front of his eyes. He has never seen her act like this before. Seeing Ema act like this is making Yusuke's heart crunch with pain. Finally, he wrapped his arms around her so tight that he will never let her go.

"!" Ema realized that she is in warmth until Yusuke spoke up.

"I am sorry. I wish I can take all the pain away! Seeing you like this is hurting me! Ema...It doesn't matter if you are Rintarou's daughter or not...I...I..."

Ema looks up at Yusuke face they both started at each other. Without any hesitation Yusuke lift up Ema's chin and slowly lean in to give her a kiss. The rain continue to fall on them as they shared a special moment.

The Ponytail girly eyes widen but soon they closed as she let this happen. This kiss was the sweetest sensation, she has ever experience in her life, and slowly the pain she had felt is slowly fading

Author Notes: Finally I have updated! This took longer then I expected. I hope you all enjoyed it! So yes! Ema has finally shared her first kiss with...Yusuke! It was a close tie bewteen Yusuke and Iori. But Yusuke won by reviews and PM's I received from you guys.

The next chapter we will deal with Ema's discovery, wrapping up Louis's Conflict, and learning more about Bijou. She is an OC I created and I was a huge Hamtaro fan when I was little lol! So I used Bijou because it's French and her lastname I got from Gossiop Girl from Nate Arichbald!

A random shout out, I am looking forward to the new Kingdom Hearts 2.8! I can't wait to play Aqua's story ^^
