Chapter 19: Louis Conflict

Is this really happening? Ema thoughts as she is continuing to kiss Yusuke. She knows it's wrong, but her body tells her that this feels right. So right, that it feels truly amazing.

Abruptly, Yusuke pull away turning away not facing her. " I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't of done that." He didn't mean to say that, it came out of fear of rejection. Yusuke has never done this before this...feeling of liking someone for a very long time. "Let's go back to the hotel...okay?"

As Yusuke was about to walk away, Ema grab his hand. The red head boy's chocolate eyes widen in surprise as he looks down, seeing a small woman hand on his manly hand. "Please...can we not go back? I need time to process of what happened with my dad. You can go back, but please don't tell no one that you saw me." Ema let's go of Yusuke hand, and faces the opposite direction to go somewhere anywhere, but that hotel. The red hair boy grabbed Ponytail girly's hand again and look directly into her eyes.

"You will not deal with this alone. I will be with you, as long as it takes for you to be ready to come back to our family."

"Sweetheart, come we need to find our daughter!" As Miwa grab her purse and was about to leave. She turn behind her to see if her husband would follow. But, instead he is standing there staring at the window. Even though Miwa can't see her husband's face, but she can feel his pain. She put her purse down and walk over and wrap her arms around Rintarou.

Rintarou flinch slightly forgetting about his wife was still in the room. It gave him comfort that he wasn't alone. He sighed, "I really messed up. Will Ema...ever forgive me?"

Miwa didn't know what to say, but all she can say is, "You won't know till you talk to her." She turn him around and close her eyes to lean in to give her husband a gentle kiss. When Miwa pull away slowly, a small smile appear, "No matter what she is your daughter, you raised her when she was a baby. Those memories you shared will always be in yours and hers heart." She placed her hand on his check lovingly, "Don't give up. She is my daughter now, and I love her. We need to find her."

Rintarou rub her hand and laid a kiss to show is gratitude and look at his beautiful wife, "You're right my love. Thank you for your kind words."

"Uh..one-room please!" Yusuke blurts out awkwardly as the front desk lady smile and then he hands her his credit card.

"Alright, it's in room 421. Enjoy your honeymoon!" The lady winked at both of them. That comment made Yusuke blush like an idiot and he was going to correct the confuse lady. But, Ema just only bowed as she gave her a small smile, "Thank you we will." The two went inside the elevator and both were silent. When they reach their floor, they search for their room. Yusuke slide his hotel card to unlock the door and let Ema walk in first. He look behind him to make sure no one wasn't watching and walk inside while close the door behind him.

"Is there anything I can get for you…?" The red head boy ask as he watch Ema looking around the room and then sits down on a chair where it's the view of outside.

"No, I am okay thank you though, Yusuke." Ema watch the darkness from outside. That's what it feels like her world is in darkness. The light that shine so bright, just turn upside down over an hour ago. She truly wonder if anyone ever loved her? It pain her as fresh tears roll down her cheek. "I want to know...Yusuke why did you come with me?"

Truth is Yusuke didn't know how to answer he sat on the bed as he lay his arms on his knees and let out a sigh, "I don't know. What you are going through does suck. But...he is still your dad." The word, 'dad' only brought more sting to Ema's heart. Can she still think of him that way?

"You know…" Yusuke began. "I...don't like talking about it but...my dad left me." Ema turned her direction to Yusuke as she is stun. Truthfully, Ema never knew about any of the Asahina's brother's dad. None of them never talk about it. So, this is surprisingly that Yusuke brings it up. She waits for Yusuke to continue.

The red head boy had a troubled expression like the words what come out. Ema got up from her chair and sat next to Yusuke and softly touch his hand for comfort. Like she is showing interest that she does care and wants to hear Yusuke speak.

"It all started, when I was born...My father didn't want me" Yusuke whisper coldly. It frustrates Yusuke thinking back on the past it brought slight painful memories of not growing up with a father figure in his life. "My mother tried to explain to me that he didn't want to be a dad, and that having a family is meaningless. To me, that is abandonment."

"Yusuke…" Ema felt so sorry for him. She never knew about this. All she wants to do is be there for Yusuke and comfort him.

Without a thought, he grabbed his hand and slide his hand on her cheeck with a sweet expression. "I appreciate your kindness. But, it's okay I am over it." He realized what he did and blush once again, "Uh...anyway um I was trying to make a point...damn it! Oh now I remember, my point was even though he isn't your blood, he is still your dad. He loves you...and took care of you. To me, that's a real parent. I wished my mom was more like your dad in a sense. By...watching you grow."

The ponytail girly was quiet processing what Yusuke said. It made her feel slightly better from this situation. "But...why would he keep this from me. Why lie to me all of these years."

"Maybe he had a reason." Yusuke said trying to help Ema feel better.

"Thank you. I am glad you are here with me." She smile. Then the red head boy grin to her.

"Of course you can't get rid of me that easy!"

"Louis, I need to speak with you!" Bijou spoke with frustration as she follows Louis from outiside.

The hairstylist is looking all over and finally his attention is toward the young lady and sighs, "Bijou, please I am trying to find Chii. This is unlike her to be gone this late. Everyone is worried sick about her." And then Louis was about to walk some more until Bijou grab his hand to make him stop.

"Why do you care about her so much...?"

Louis didn't bat an eyelash and spoke to her, "Why I care? Because she is part of my family...that's why. What's gotten into you? You are normally not like this."

Bijou let go off his hand and express sadness, "Why would you speak those words too me. I just...never seen you this worried before...I thought the only one that makes you this worry is...me."

"Their is something bothering you isn't? Tell me I can help you." Louis smile at Bijou showing true concern.

"Just...why did we brake up?"

Hearing those words made the hairstylist heart skip a beat, that caught him off guard. He didn't know what to say and why of all moments speak about it now? "It has been...six months ago. What is there more to discuss?"

Bijou cross her arms and stare at him with worry, " I need to now why we did. Weren't we happy...?"

Louis reflected his feelings in his thoughts as he spoke, " You have been in my life as long as I can rember. You were my first friend I made when we were in that Orphange when we were children. Back then, I felt like a big brother to you. You were my first family until...my mother came along and adopted me. When we were together I did loved you, but the love I have now is base on friendship. I don't want to risk our relationship." He tried to hug her, but she push him away with pain.

"I honestly think you left me for two reasons. Because of your family and that Ema Hinata person. What makes her so great...Louis?" Bijou was about to shed tears."

The hairstylist was quiet trying to process everything. "I...don't agree."

"NO!" Bijou shouts with anger. "Louis you are not going anywhere until you admit it! I can see it through my eyes, the way you look at her. If you ever care about me then admit it!"

"Yes, I do." Louis whispers as he finally admit his feelings. As he looks at his old friend he can see her eyes glassy and her face turning pale. "Truth is I now she would never love me. The way she looks at me...is the way you look at a family member. So, I can live with that."

"Anyway...I am going to look for her."

Author's Note: Hey everyone finally got around posting this new chapter. I have had this chapter in my notebook and took awhile for me to come around and typing it. I know there is a lot going on in this chapter, but I wanted to add a lot of details and try to add other point of views of other characters. Anyway I hope you readers enjoy it!
