In the previous chapter

Mei nods towards the head doctor Himari and then the family see how there is a stretcher that has the now comatose Sawamura Eijun they see he has a mask in his mouth and tubes attach in his body. He looks pale and vulnerable. The people there find themselves in tears he looks so still. But they vow themselves they'll find the one who did this to their Eijun Sawamura.

Mei looks broken and he took his lover hand within his. He feels how cold Eijun is but, he's determine to be with him no matter what. Himari Sensei looks the sad family seriously and she said to them they will take him to a private floor where, he is going to rest. All of them nod and only Eijun's mother went with them.

P.S: The characters, guardians/shikis are from the anime Shounen Omyouji, Shindo Hikaru from Hikaru no Go, Shindo Shuichi from the anime Gravitation and Eijun cousin Sawamura Daichi from the anime Haykyu.

(Yes, this fic as well the previous ones, are from crossover animes. I find my stories more interest with them lol).

Chapter 3: "Recovery, hunting the criminal."

Meanwhile, in Tokyo hospital.

Mei looks how the staff in the hospital is taking his lover to another floor. He sees how Lady Sawamura Sayuri, his lover mother left the room, leaving them in the E.R waiting room. He was about to follow her as well as his lover family but, in the process he is hoping his beloved Eijun get over this, so he thinks. "No..! Mei you can't think negative thoughts, not right now. Eijun needs you and I know he loves me and he won't die easily, no without a fight..! Damn it, I'm such a moron. I should have insist about his odd behavior. But, I didn't want to ruin our relationship by asking him what's wrong with him, when he honestly didn't want me to know. Is not like he didn't trust me, but he is the type to kept his mouth shut, in stressful situations. He is been tense lately too. Is this my fault?" Mei have frustrated glassy tears in his eyes.

Taiin looks her young master lover feeling despair from him, so she said startling in the process the young Ace from Inashiro and Eijun's family too, before the family decide following the Sawamura matriarch.

Finally, Taiin say. "Narumiya Sama, please. I understand how you are feeling but, please don't blame yourself and lose your faith in Eijun Sama. He is stronger than he looks. Even though, he did not want us involve he won't lose without a fight and he definitely wants to be with you. He won't die, he will soon awake, until then be by his side."

Mei the arrogant Ace from Inashiro looks bombshell but, he smile at the end wiping his face and say with a fake cheerfully, voice cuz who is he kidding. He's anything but happy at the moment so, he says to Eijun guardian. "Thank you Taiin San, is just hard. Ei-Chan refuse telling me what was bothering him and when I insisted he wanted nothing more, than leave. I didn't insist anymore, I knew something was happening but, he is so stubborn. At the end I thought, it was his teammates the problem because of that new assistant couch he has. I can't avoid feeling guilty. I could do something..! Is just hard you know, I almost lose him today." Mei sighs sadly at the end.

Taiin jus nods this time saying without letting anyone in the E.R. Room interrupt their conversation. "Yes, I know. Is not my place to say this but, Eijun Sama is a lot like our old Master Eiko Sama. Both worry more for others wellbeing than themselves, but we shikis while, we exist we cannot disobeyed our Master Sama orders, no matter how much we want to. What I'm trying to say is….Us, blame for what happened to him. We are supposed to make sure our Masters are healthy and not harm in any possible way, protecting them from danger. But, that is impossible to do if our own master cut their connection to us."

Everyone in the E.R awaiting room were so shocked about Taiin response, they wonder why she said that about Eijun.

Narumiya Mei looked confused about what Taiin just reveal. Is not that he is in the dark. His beloved Eijun before they start dating, he did told him and explained his family legacy, but he never said he could cut his connection from his own guardian's.

Eijun grandmother is confused as well, she knows her grandson isn't that reckless unless he is desperate so, she for the sake of her family confusion, decide to step in saying to Taiin this. "What are you suggesting Taiin, please explain yourself. Eijun isn't dumb for putting his life at risk unless, he is protecting someone he loves, that child is handful but not fool."

Shindo Shuichi nods towards his grandmother reasoning so, he says. "Yeah, what do you mean about what you just reveal Taiin. Ei-Chan hates worry us and put his life in risk so, I don't get why you insinuate he put himself in this situation."

Taiin just exhales exhausted and knowing they won't like one bit what she is about to reveal. She answer anyway saying. "Young Master Eijun, cut his soul connection to us his guardians. We cannot know his exact location because, he made sure we couldn't feel his presence. We are spirit create for the purpose to protect our past master successors, as long as they are alive we can be there with them. And if they are weaker than us, we can manifest whenever we want and protect them, whether they like it or not. Nonetheless, with Eijun Sama that is not the case. He is stronger both physically, mentally and spiritually. His powers with his soul are stronger especially when, he use his Wiccan abilities. In the case he doesn't wish us interrupt him in his personal life, he detach his connection to us and that's exactly what he did. He made sure we didn't notice him cutting his connection to us, made a false bond between his guardians. We did not notice since, he rarely used this method, so it was a surprise when we felt him hurt and almost dying when he pass out in the field. After that, we went immediately looking for the culprit and rushing to lady Sayuri side and contact you guys."

Guren step in, him be his serious self and interrupt them in the process. "As Taiin said. We are able to defy our masters in time of need, that includes masters Shuichi and Hikaru but, Eijun Sama is different. He is just as careless as Eiko Sama and Masahiro Sama, when they were both alive and when, is about someone they deeply care they just don't see the danger they put themselves into. In this case he did not want us close to him. I infer he was protecting in his own way his friends from the human that hurt him. Eijun Sama is strong, he definitely made a number of his attacker and I guess, young master did not expect that man hurt him that badly and put his life in jeopardy as he did. More so when he was playing baseball."

Genbu then said earnestly to Eijun Sama family and his master boyfriend. "Is not used blaming for spilt milk. Even knowing from the note Master Eijun Sama left behind. Right now the rest of us guardians as well Masahiro Dono are hunting now the man that hurt Eijun Sama."

Shuichi Shindo step in saying now like the head of the clan that he is. "If our great ancestor Masahiro Sama is helping the hunt this human piss off, enough even our ancestors, for them getting involved. Then, do you know where he is? Is strange itself none of you found out where he is right now..?" Shuichi raise an eyebrow in wonder and crossing his arms too.

Genbu cough in distress saying to the now leader, Shuichi seriously this. "Masahiro Sama as well Semei Dono found the location but, they sent first Tenko and Taiju so they can inspect the area and no one get seriously hurt plus, for this man go to jail and face a trial. Also, police found evidence that support what Master Eijun said about his attacker. But, then again our past masters are angry and don't want normal justice for what that man did to Eijun Sama. Revenge is not an option, we are guardians not murders. Plus, according to the investigation for you human's detectives, it seems the attacker is a serial murder and rapist. If what the information say is true we have no option letting this be solved in the human way, is not our place getting justice if there were previous victims besides; master Eijun. Nor Masahiro Sama as well as the rest of our ancestor are happy about that, but defied ancient laws is out of jurisdiction." Genbu finished giving his input to his master family.

Both Shuichi and Hikaru sighs. They understand they cannot interfere with justice if there were other victims involved. That will be against their family legacy, as well how other families besides themselves and that are involved in the supernatural world belief. Is not only an insult but, also a declaration of war if they take justice by their own hands, without giving justice to the previous victims that man has. That's why they can't interfere much to their displeasure TT_TT

Sawamura Daichi just arrive a few minutes ago and heard the news of how his baby cousin is. He grid his teeth in fury, he knows little about the supernatural world and while, his family are samurai warriors nor priest. He is not happy with the resolution. He can see in the corner of his eyes, how his uncle Eiji and his own grandpa Eitoku, aren't happy with how things are taken place either."

Shindo Abe Sayaka, Eijun grandmother is not a happy woman at the moment but, right now this is not important so, she say. "…Genbu, Taiin, Guren, tell Masahiro Dono when they find there's no danger around this man, we go hunting and capture the suspect. If the information is correct, which I believe it is then, we interrogate him first and later punish him. We can let things go the human way at the end but, mind as well put a curse to him for the harm he cause to my grandson and his victims. Inform them about this. You guys are dismiss." The guardians/Shikis nod their heads and leave, disappearing in the air to his own past masters' side.

Both, Shuichi and Hikaru turn around now looking at their grandmother, this time saying seriously. "Are you sure grandmother is wise let this get the human way..?" Shuichi asked.

Shindo Abe Eijirou, Sayaka husband looks earnestly, he say. "Darling, do you think this is a wise decision to make. All of us are angry, especially our daughter. I don't think we rush things not now at least. We must focus in Eijun safety and recovery first."

Hikaru adds apprehensively to his grandmother, saying earnestly too. "Yeah..! I understand grandma we can't interfere if other victims are involved. Since, is against our legacy and we can be in trouble with other families if we take justice in our hands. But, the thing is normal human justice require just few years in jail and even if this man receive a death penalty for him be execute requires at least 5 or 15 years according to the laws. This man won't die right away, he will live a peaceful life in prison or as normal as it can be in that place and even he can escape jail if the security isn't the best. I saw that before when I helped dad in his cases for fugitives after all, the justice system is not perfect."

Shuichi then looks Hikaru saying. "Speaking of which, where is Uncle Masao and Aunt Mitsuko..? Both are supposed to be here..? You know before you ask my own parents whereabouts Hika Chan, they are separated at the moment, since mom and he got in a silly argument. Honestly..! So knowing mom, she will get the news until dawn after, I send Maiko looking for her and dad well…him I'm guessing will be here the day after tomorrow."

Hikaru just sighs saying exasperatedly. "He is busy with a tough case he's working lately. As an attorney he is preparing a trial plus, helping the LPD. The case, it is about a rapist killing in the loose, teenagers in Hokkaido. Mom went with him since, he isn't taking care of himself. She tries helping him using her divination ability to locate the killer, or at least knowing the place he will strike again and probably save the victim. But, the thing with that if they are destiny to die one way or another, the information comes too late. So, both went together and recollected evidence for the last victim, the LPD found a week ago and so far the evidence is useless. Is like that this man has help from a demon, but we check."

Hikaru then has a realization look startling his family saying. "Actually, grandparents, Shuichi and everyone. Before, this happened to Ei-Chan. Mom went with him and asked him, to use his premonition and divination power in order to catch this bad man. You know Ei-Chan predictions are more accurate than us. Since, my parent's efforts weren't given them results and police hunting was useless, so they figure something natural was helping this man to be out of the radar. He has a lot of victims..! We know for sure is a man and not a woman according to the autopsies. The point is….Ei-Chan said this man is a potential demon that when he dies, he will become one since, he enjoys torture and basically murder, that's why he doesn't have any assistance to any demon. Eijun himself checked and sent Tenitsu, Seiryu and even asked his friend Rikuo to assist him. So far for their findings they conclude the serial killer is a young man, between his eighteen to twenty nine years old, having brown hair, tall and he can easily pass as a teenager since, he looks young."

Sawamura Daichi looks in a narrow way having a realization look saying. "Wait..! Hikaru are you saying Ei-Chan was attacked by the same man, both uncle Masao and aunty Mitsuko are hunting down..?"

Hikaru nods and looks way serious adding to his shocking family this. "This is more serious that we thought. This is not a normal human man we are talking about. Ei-Chan also, told me he was followed by a man that resembled the suspect and we know from the note he written he was stalked for two weeks. Eijun, honestly didn't say too much to me. But, Rikuo Sama got worried for his safety and he made sure Eijun was safe when they both were together and he also, told Eijun to kept Guren and the rest of his guardians around. Obviously, Eijun wasn't alone in any moment, after that incident he passed. Eijun was injured today. Meaning this man caught him out of guard and since, Eijun wanted peace and quiet because, of his game against Yakushi and without his guardians around. Eijun probably didn't see this coming and he thought he could handle it."

Sawamura Eiji then adds his opinion touching his bear saying. "Knowing my stubborn son, Eijun didn't defend himself since that man threatened him, somehow…knowing Eijun won't resist at the end. Just like my Sayuri said, Eijun won't let no one touch him or try abusing him without a fight and since, the match was about to start he simply did what he thought was the best at that moment. Seriously, Eijun when you wake up young man, you will have a long lecture."

Everyone sweatdropped since, yes knowing their stubborn southpaw pitcher and lovely family member Eijun. That possible scenario happened. They all sigh.

Grandfather Eitoku adds at the end. "Well….after what everyone said and for the clues that lead to this events. Knowing this family, that theory is pretty much or at least closely what might happened to my reckless grandson. Seriously, we even do a better job inferring what happened without the police involvement. Not mention his teammates, coach and the assistant staff in Seido. Nevertheless, now we have to be careful we will need the assistance or other families' clan to catch this bastard and make sure he doesn't harm anyone else." Said Eitoku feeling angry for the attacker actions.

Hikaru then adds to his family saying. "I will go with Ten'itsu right now and examine the evidence Ei-Chan left. I call you grandma or Shu nii if I find something new." Hikaru bows and left his family going towards the lab.

Shuichi looks way too worry and restless he sighs and said. "Grandma and grandpa right now we must concentrate in the security. Don't worry about my job I already told them I'll be busy and my family is more important, Hikaru did the same."

Shuichi grandparents nod at his grandson words. Everyone else was prepared to leave the room but, they see Mei want to say something. So, they wait.

Narumiya Mei sighs, he understand a bit of the situation but he asked, raising his right hand nonetheless this. In the process looking how everyone in the room looks at him expecting his next words so, Mei say. "Forgive me, listen to me I…I…understand, this man is seriously dangerous. Then, I have a question you see before I came here one of my teammates called me and told me Itsuki, one of my kohai gathered information of Eijun attacker. I don't know exactly the details since, Masa San didn't told me much but, more than that…I want to know are you planning Eijun return school after this."

Narumiya continue saying without skipping a bit. "I'm asking because Eijun loves Seido but, I know he won't defy your decisions since, he will feel guilty for putting himself in danger. I love Eijun but I want his safety more than anything and his team or even I might be the reason, why he didn't fight back. All I ask is will you let him be with me and see his classmates after this..?"

Sawamura Eiji sighs saying to Narumiya Mei. "Sayuri and I talked. We won't separate him from you, is obvious both of you are destined to be together, you are his soul-mate Narumiya Kun so, in that regard don't worry. But, Sayuri my wife is too angry, more so with Takashima Rei that woman promise Eijun will be safe. We know his life in Seido wasn't easy. Eijun is someone that can overcome obstacles but the bottom line is, both Kataoka and Takashima broke their promise to us and in our eyes that is enough. Eijun won't come back Seido. Sayuri won't let him and neither do I."

Sawamura Eiji continue saying with a sigh and he grits his teeth saying. "Nonetheless, we are not that cruel to not permit him see his friends in Seido as long as one of us is present Eijun can see them. I will tell them that when Eijun is out of danger and when my son wakes up too. He will protest but at the end he will know is for the best."

Narumiya sighs in relief after hearing his future father in law response, he just hopes everyone that care for his beloved Eijun will understand his family decision.

As for the rest of the family members of both Sawamura and Shindo side of the family gathered in the E.R waiting room decide, leaving the place and go towards the floor and room where Sawamura Eijun is resting, in a coma trying to recover for the beaten he previously received. TT_TT

There was a ruckus in the halls of Tokyo hospital which, the Staff try to control.

In the hospital a group of kids that knew Sawamura since, they were in diapers want to see him but they look defeated since they can't go.

Miyuki along with Chris and Yuki see how Sawamura childhood friends just arrive the hospital looking like hell and wanting to be with him.

One of the nurse say to them. "I'm so sorry boys I understand after you show us proves, all of you be Sawamura Kun friends. But, that is not enough. You see Sawamura Kun family in this moment they order no having any visitor for him."

Nobu looks restless he wants to be with him so he says angry. "We don't care lady. Just talk with Mrs. Sayuri, Ei-Chan's mother she would make us pass without problems."

Yeah..! The rest of Eijun friends say. While, Miyuki and company want to protest and say their opinion.

The people in the hospital just look dazed, confused about the whole situation. Before, another of Eijun friend protest a voice interrupt the chaos.

"THAT'S ENOUGH..!" Eijun grandmother the annoyed woman that just arrive, after doing a tea ceremony. The one and only Sawamura Eiri. She glares the group of startled scared kids saying. Not caring in the least she is scaring the people present in the hospital.

Finally, Sawamura Eiri takes a huge breath and say. "I understand Nobu boy you want to be with my grandson side but, right now no one and I include my daughter in law there want his friends at his side. Wakana is an exception since, she was with my son Eiji when Ei-Chan was playing. The point is, right now only family is allowed to be by his side. I ask you kids return to your homes and don't deny it, I just saw your parents to my way here and explained why you cannot see him. Unless, all of you are suicidal and want to face an angry mother bear such as Sayuri right now."

Sawamura Eiri crossed both of her arms seeing how Eijun childhood friends shake their heads in frighten manner since, they know their friend mother is a demon angry. After, she is satisfy they understand reason and see how their parents arrive, she looks at them making eye contact telling them not leaving their kids alone which the parents nod at her.

Sawamura Eiri then return her glare and look at his grandson teammates saying to them. "That's go for you boys as well. Miyuki and Co. Look, I'm not the type to hold grudge to innocent people that not do nothing. I know is not your teammates fault. Nevertheless, none of you are welcome here. When, you will see again my grandson is uncertain but, we are not cruel when Eijun is fine, healthy and available to see you then, we communicate to you. Now leave. As for you Mrs. Nurse just inform people no one can see him, and inform that to journalist too now if you may excuse me I need to leave my family waits for me."

All people in the room looks bombshell state looking how Sawamura grandmother left towards another hallway, were Sawamura Eijun must be. The woman does looks like a female version of Eijun definitely making everyone see the boy and her are related.

The kids both childhood friends and Seido members left knowing they can see Eijun in another time but, right now they can't stay until further notice.

Meanwhile, in Seido

Everyone in the field look shocked, more so knowing the angry singer Shuichi Shindo and Sawamura Eijun are related. Also, realizing the famous soccer player and Go player Shindo Hikaru are related to the southpaw.

Seido team members, after seen how Shuichi Shindo and apparently his cousin and an unknown man left Seido facilities. They all felt confused. They can see in the corner of their eyes how the people present in the baseball field grounds looks spooky not to mention impress of the events that just happened.

The school headmaster however, say to coach Kataoka this after, he recover for the scold everyone receive courtesy of Shindo Shuichi. He say. "Coach Kataoka, I need you and assistant coach Ochiai come with me towards my office, we need to discuss this privately along with one of the deputies, in charge of Sawamura Kun case. For now, Takashima Rei you and president club Ota are in charge with the team safety. Please, make sure everyone go to their dorm rooms and don't you guys worry, there are several guards around the dorm as well in the school."

Both, Kataoka and Ochiai just nods to the headmaster orders. Looking apprehensively the situation they are in. Ota was sharing the same look along with them.

Takashima Rei nods saying with a serious yet sad voice. "I understand sir. I shall do as you ask. Ota come with me as for you boys follow me."

Seido team members feel nothing more than helpless they want desperately to protest and even ask to Inashiro teammates, why they are here. But they can't so they reluctantly follow Mrs. Rei and Mr. Ota. All of them look defeated.

The outsiders also leave the school ground feeling there is no place for them to be there.

Nonetheless, Inashiro teammates look sad about the outcome. Itsuki, Masa, Carlos and Shirakawa decide leaving is better, they did what they could and said what they knew to the police already. Each of them given the detective their statement and possible this will help them catch Sawamura assailant.

After everyone left the field. The police and CSI investigators continue surviving the place and look for potential evidence. The detectives in charge such as Sakakura, Julia and their assistant continue doing their jobs and coordinating with the CSI team that is in the stadium searching for new findings in the case.

As for Shuichi Shindo band members. While, they all left Seido facility taken too in the back of the car Shuichi motorcycle. Now they be in their car, in this case K was driving and he as well as the rest are waiting to go to the N-G record label.

Inside the car Sakano was frantic trying to control his nervousness, fidgeting with his fingers. Meanwhile, both Hiro and Suguru look perplexed about Shindo behavior. K for once is lost about the whole ordeal.

Hiro finally say after minutes of excruciating silence, this time with a resigning voice. "I'm sorry guys. Before you ask me I did not know Shu having a cousin, much less the boy be injured. He is so secretive about his family side and I never, met them. I just know his parents and sister so, this is a bombshell to me as well as you guys. I only recall seen Shu this angry once and well let's just say Yuki, Seguchi and even Mika are really lucky to no face his wrath. He's literally out for blood when he is in that mood."

Suguru just sigh and hissed back saying. "That's not the problem right now Hiro San. The problem now is how we face the press and even Touma. For what I can infer Shindo San won't want be disturb until, what happened to his baby cousin is resolved. I feel sorry for the man who will soon face Shindo wrath as well as his whole family."

Sakano just sigh feeling discompose by the whole situation. "I…I don't think no one can interfere with this. Shindo San made clear his family comes first than his duty as head singer, his job. I'm surprise too he is related to Shindo Hikaru both of them look in pain to me and want to cause harm, whoever hurt their baby cousin. Not to mention after he broke up with Yuki San a year ago, he is quite different person. It doesn't help he have a new couple. We can only hope the fans understand the situation once they know what happened in Seido School and Seguchi San too."

K just add his opinion while he is driving the car attentively looking the street rode saying. "…Don't worry my boys. Right now our only concern that is if it is required to do a press conference we just have to explain the situation calmly. Luckily for us Shuichi does have supportive fans so, they will understand. As for Seguchi he might be grumpy but there is nothing we can do at the moment. It will be troublesome dealing with Shuichi family, after all when he left the meeting everyone notice he was out for blood and no one here is suicidal and face his wrath."

Hiro just chuckled and add at the end. "Shu can be quiet scary when he wants to be. Yuki too must know he can talk to him. Shu is happy with his life and he doesn't listen others now. I guess he is more mature. Right now, let's hope he can make through this and his baby cousin be safe."

Suguro sighs and glance the window saying. "We are his friends, team band mates he should trust us more. But, you are right Hiro san we will support his decisions, he is not alone."

Everyone in the car were lost in thought hoping this doesn't cause problems and Shuichi plus, his family be safe for the one who cause harm.

Dear readers I'm sorry for not updating in a year or more than that, I think..? :p to be honest I'm kind of hook in another fandom (Danganronpa, lady muse hit me hard in that one so I'm writing fics of NaegixKamakura my OTP)

I know I do write long chapters and I think this one is long, I guess. When I'll update is uncertain and I hope this chapter is better written I hope. For the ones who follow me give me kudos and give me positive reviews which, is the reason why I'll start updating. I hope this time this chapter is better written than the previous ones. Really..! I'm not perfect nor a super writer. I do what I can with the knowledge I had learned from my English studies. I learned my English through hard work, but be kind English is my second language not my mother tongue, so I'm not 100% proficient in English. I would said yes my grammar needs work (I never like that subject my scores always were averages but, not bad and punctuation was not something my teachers taught me, that I self-learn it TT_TT Why? Because, in my Major in English…knowing the language and how to teach others is more important than punctuation, actually I recall I was only taught the basics).
