I had to rest for a few days before I could see my child. It turns out that I had a baby girl. She was so beautiful. But she was dying. I began to cry. How was I supposed to save her? The doctors had her on life support but without it she could die. I felt an arm wrap around me. Knowing it was Helia; I turned and hid myself in his arms.

"Flora it will be alright. The doctors are doing everything they can to save her."

"They're not doing anything. They put her on life support and left. How are they doing anything?"

"They're running tests to see if anything can save her. We just have to wait."

Days past yet still no one was trying to help my daughter. Helia and I visited every day. Two days ago, my family came from Linphea to see me. It wasn't exactly a cheerful visit though. I arrived early at the hospital and walked to the Maternity Ward only to find that my daughter was gone. Panicking I ran to the receptionist.

"Where is Dr Harlan? I need to see him?"

"I'm sorry miss but he's in the surgery room at the moment and won't be out for a few hours. If you take a seat, I can leave message and he will come out as soon as he is finished."

"I don't want to take a seat! My baby is missing! Where is she?!" I knew it wasn't the women's fault but I had to see my daughter.

"I don't know miss. I"

"It's okay Janice, I'll handle Miss Flora." I turned around to find Dr Jackson, the doctor I had been seeing during my pregnancy. He pulled me aside away from the crowd.

"Flora, what's wrong?"

"My baby is missing and nobody seems to care." His face dropped and he sighed heavily. That was never a good sign. It meant that they had really bad news to tell you.

"Flora, you might want to sit down." I had no interest in sitting down but I did as to not cause a bigger scene.

"Flora, there is no easy way to say this. Your daughter…, we had to take her of Life Support. She wasn't responding to any of our tests. I'm very sorry." I couldn't hear any more of it. My baby had died. I broke down in tears. How would Helia react when he found out? He loved our baby more than anything.

"Flora, I am so sorry but there was nothing we could do. I can take you to see her so you can have closure if you like."

"Not without Helia." He nodded and stepped away giving me privacy. I dialled my phone calling home. It rang a few times before Helia picked up the phone.

"Flora, are you at the hospital? How is the baby?" I broke down in tears and dropped the phone. I couldn't bring myself to tell him.

"Flora…Flora, what's happened? Flora!" Damn it! I hung up the phone, got dressed, grabbed my keys and left. Previously I had texted everyone to get to the hospital pronto. I knew that Flora was going to need to comfort of her friends. I parked my hover bike and entered the hospital. I saw Flora sitting in the waiting room just outside the Maternity Ward, with a cup of water in her hands. Her phone lay on the floor next to her. She was in a seriously bad state. I didn't want to think the worst but I knew what had happened. I ran over to her, wrapping my arms around in a protecting state.

"Flora, what's happened?" She stared up at before burying her face in my chest.

"She's gone Helia. Our daughter, she's gone." Tears streamed down my face. The worst had finally happened. I heard footsteps running towards us and I knew it was our friends.

"Helia, what's happened? You texted there was an emergency." Sky asked. All the girls huddled around Flora while I stood up to talk to the guys.

"Our daughter has died. She was taken off Life Support." All their faces dropped. Even Riven who always managed to seem upbeat during the worst; was gaping.

"This is all my fault. I never should have taken you to that swim class." Stella told me while crying.

"No it's not Stella. It would've happened even if I was at home. It was unpredictable."

"I'm so sorry Flora." She cried on my shoulder and so did I.

"You were almost a mother. You had a child." Bloom said to me.

"And she still is." I looked up to see who was talking to me. I found Miss Faragonda standing before me. I wiped my eyes and stood before her.

"Miss Faragonda, what are you doing here?"

"I am here to help you. You may have given up but I haven't. You can still save your baby."

"How? She died."

"Because you Flora, are a Nature Fairy."

"My powers won't help save her. I can't bring her back to life with plants."

"I'm not talking about plants Flora. I'm talking about Nature. Nature is Life. You my dear have to ability to give Life. You have this power, you just haven't discovered it. All of you have powers you haven't discovered yet."

"So you're saying that I can bring her back to life?"

"Only if you believe you can. You must try Flora. I know you can do it." She smiled at me and I smiled back. I remember Layla once saying the same thing years ago when we were still at Alfea.

"Flora you stop talking like that right now. You are not just a Nature fairy. You are a fairy of Life and all things that are Life".

I grinned, determined to save my daughter. I was Flora, a fairy of Nature. Nature is Life. I was ready and this time I would succeed. I found Dr Jackson by the coffee machine.

"Dr Jackson. I would like you to take me and my friends to see my daughter please." He finished his coffee and led the way. Once we arrived at the Morgue, Dr Jackson opened a door, took out my daughter's body bag and laid her on the table.

"I give you some privacy before I come back." He walked out and shut the door. I unzipped the bag and saw her face. Her pale skin and closed eyes made me want to cry again but I remained strong.

"It's time Flora. You can do it. Feel you power flow into her." I heard Miss Faragonda say. I stood over her, placing my hands over her tiny body. I focused all my energy into this. I could feel my power it wasn't flowing out. I concentrated harder and closed my eyes. I was getting stronger and I could feel my energy all around me. I was so absorbed into saving her until I heard I a crying sound. I opened my eyes and there she was, bawling. I gasped out and grabbed her by the waist, holding her to me. I started to cry again, however I wasn't sad; I was happy. Extremely happy. I looked over to Helia. He was overjoyed. I handed her to him and laughed.

I woke up in a bed. A hospital bed. Had everything been a dream? I looked around to see all my friends. No this couldn't be a dream; they weren't there the first time I woke up.

"Flora you're awake!" Stella yelled.

"Stella please be quiet, the baby is sleeping." I turned to see Helia holding my baby girl. So it wasn't a dream. I really did save her. I held out my hands towards him and he passed her to me. She was so beautiful. A door opened and I saw Dr Harlan walk in with a clipboard.

"Ah Miss Flora, I see you're awake."

"Yes, Doctor can you tell me what happened please?" I didn't remember how I went from Morgue to hospital bed.

"You were in the Morgue saying goodbye to your daughter and then Dr Jackson found you unconscious on the floor. What he found to be even stranger was that your husband was holding your daughter, however she was alive. We ran some tests on her and she was completely healthy. It's unlike anything we've ever heard of. Miss Flora, I don't know what happened but you are one lucky women."

"Thank you Doctor. Will I be able to go home soon."

"As soon, as you are feeling better, the hospital can release you, and you can go home. I came to ask if you have a name for the girl. We just need the last detail for her birth certificate and then your signatures. Have you thought of any?"

"Yes, we have. We've decided to name her–" Helia answered

"No" I interrupted him. He turned to me confused.

"No?"

"No." I thought about it for a second before I had my answer.

"I want to name her Renee." I looked at Helia and he nodded after a second.

"Yes, we want to name her Renee." Dr Jackson wrote the name down on his clipboard and left.

"Can I ask why you decided to change her name?" Helia asked me once Dr Jackson was gone.

"Because I know this may seem a little cliché but I wanted her name to mean something special because she is. She died and came back to life. And I thought that meaning of her name shot mean 'life'. I chose Renee because it means 'reborn'.'

"Well I think that it is a lovely name." Layla told me.

"So what really happened to me?"

"You exhausted yourself." I turned to see Miss Faragonda. She wasn't there before.

"Hello Flora. I'm glad to see that you and your child are okay." She smiled at my daughter.

"Thank you. What do you mean that I exhausted myself?"

"You used your power for the first time. It took a lot of energy out of you. In time with experience I'm sure that you will learn to control it and be able to use less energy."

"So does this mean that I can bring anyone back to life?"

"That is up to you to decide. Everyone wants a second chance at life however whether they deserve it is what you must decide. Keep in mind though Flora, that Life was not created to last forever." I let her words sink in and thanked her.

"I have to go now. I still have a school to run. Good day Winx. I hope I'll see you again soon." That was the last thing she said before she evaporated into thin air. Miss Faragonda had extraordinary powers.

I was released from the hospital the next day. Helia and I signed Renee's Birth Certificate and walked out the door with Renee in a carrier. I set and locked her carrier in place in the back so that I could keep an eye on her. Helia turned the engine on and I buckled up.

"Let's go home." I said to him. He smiled and drove off.

~ ~ ~ One Year Later ~ ~ ~

"I can't believe that Renee is one now. She looks so cute in her little outfit." Stella squealed bouncing Renee on her lap. Renee had the largest grin on her face and giggled every time Stella raised her in the air. It was one of her greatest traits in her personality. I was watching her from the kitchen, pulling her cake out of the oven.

"Of course, you would say that Stella. You made it." Musa said

"I know. And she looks amazing. It's a one of a kind. None of her clothes that I make are sold at my stores. Everyone will be so jealous of her." Stella had finally become a fashion designer. She gave up trying to make clothes for adults, so one day while cleaning up after Flynn she decided to make clothes for kids.

"If you say so Stella. Oh Flora, that cake looks incredible." I had made a strawberry and cream cake with an eatable butterfly on top. Around the bottom, were little '1's.

"You really think so? It isn't anything fancy. Just a simple cake."

"Trust me. It looks perfect. Renee and everyone will love it. Besides, simple is better than fancy. Remember Flynn's cake?" The memory made me laugh. Stella had made this massive chocolate cake than never got finished. Even with all the kids having more than piece. And the adults.

"Hey. I was excited okay. It was his first birthday. Leave me alone." Stella whined. At her reaction, she stopped bouncing Renee who noticed and tugged on Stella's arms.

"Alright, the cake is ready. Let's celebrate a birthday."

This was such a sad chapter for me to write. I had trouble not crying. But thankfully I got to the happy part and my eyes dried. Anyway. Hope you liked it. I'll be putting up an epilogue and then the story will be finished...

Or will it?

Yeah it probably will unless someone can come up with something for me to write as a sequal.
