Hey guys, so as I said before this is the last chapter. Epilogue. I will finish this, and then try to finish the last chapters of Whom Do I Love and then work on New Winx. My cowriter Jakevoronkov1 and I have come up with some great ideas for the plot so I want to get start straight away once I finish other stories. Anyway, enjoy the last chappie.
I woke up instantly. It was 9:00 on a Monday. The Monday I had been waiting for sixteen years. Today I would attend my mum's alma mater. Alfea. As a kid, she told me all these great stories of her adventures at Alfea and I couldn't wait to go myself. I jumped out of bed, dressed into some clothes, grabbed my packed bag and headed downstairs. I saw my dad at the table eating pancakes.
"Morning Dad"
"Good Morning Renee. Are you ready to leave yet?" I glared at him. Over the years, my dad developed a sense of humour but not a very good one.
"I've been ready my entire life dad. Where's mum?" I fixed myself a plate and sat down.
"She's right here" I turned to see my mum walk down the stairs with my brother, Dylan. He was 3.
"Just let me feed Dylan and then we can go."
"Mum!" I groaned. I was so anxious to get to Alfea.
"I'll only take a few minutes. You've waited sixteen years. I'm sure you can wait a bit longer." Finally after what seemed like forever, my mum was done.
"Great he's fed, now let's go."
"Alright, we'll go." She opened a portal and we walked through to Alfea. I could see the place was packed with girls my age. We walked up the gates where an old lady with glasses was using a clipboard and pen, ticking girls names off as they walked through. She seemed rather grumpy. I knew from my mum's stories that this was Miss Griselda.
"Name?"
"Renee Deprisco" She scrolled through her list, struggling to find it. (1)
"Flora!" I saw an old women walking towards us.
"Hello Miss Faragonda. It's nice to see you again."
"Yes it is. And this is Renee? My you have grown since I last saw you? I'm sure that you'll enjoy Alfea very much." I have no idea how the women knew me since I have no recollection of ever meeting the women and I have a very good memory.
"Griselda, don't worry about trying to find her name. It's clear that she's a fairy." Miss Griselda grumbled and moved on to the next girl. We walked with Miss Faragonda and met with the others. I spotted my friends by the waterfall. Lucille looked up and spotted me.
"Renee!" She sprung up and ran towards me. I braced myself for a massive hug. She tightly squeezed me before letting go.
"I can't believe you're here!" I walked with her back to our group of friends.
"Guess what? Miss Faragonda has set you up to be roomed with us! Isn't that awesome! Unfortunately though you won't be in our classes you are a freshman." I always found it funny how Lucille was girly and perky, yet her mum wasn't Stella.
"So now that you are at Alfea, you have to live up to your Mum's legacy. Cause heaps of trouble, save the world multiple times, find a cute boyfriend. And please, choose someone other than my brother. I know that he likes you but it would just be weird okay."
"So then you would have a problem if in the future I married your brother and became your sister" It was true that Samuel had a small crush on me and I did kind of like him back but I grew up with him like family, so it was awkward. I watched Lucille's eyes light up. Oh God. What had I done? I really should not have said that.
"I can't believe I didn't think of that. No you definitely have to date him? It would be so cool to have you as my sister!" She kept going on until Chloe shut her up. I knew that this was going to be a good year.
"So today's the day huh?" Sky asked.
"Yep, she starts today and continues for another four years. And then when Little Dylan grows up, he'll decide if he wants to go to Red Fountain but we've still got a few years until then."
"Let's hope so. At least your daughter wanted to go to Alfea." Musa said to me.
"Someone's upset because Clair chose to go to my school instead." Riven said smugly
"I still can't believe you let her go. One, she's a girl and two, it's a school for boys."
"She'll be able to defend herself. Don't worry." I saw Musa quietly laughing and I began to as well. Obviously Riven didn't get the connection. I saw the girls all moving to say goodbye to their parents. Renee came up to me and gave me a big hug.
"Don't worry mum. I'll make you proud." I held her hand and released it, leaving her with a bracelet made from little daisies. Over time, I had developed my powers and I was able to produce life from the tip of my fingers.
"Have fun, okay. Be sure to write to us." I gave her another hug before she left to meet up with the other girls. I turned back to my friends.
"So, now what?"
(1) I don't remember any time in the series where they mentioned Helia's last name so I made it up. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the story. I'll be sure to write new ones. Bye for now
