Hey it didn't take me so long to write this one! :D Okay it's NOT a chapter per se but it's a oneshot that I was scared to post by itself. There have been people threatening me about posting songfics and want me to take them down so I gotta be careful. This chapter is dedicated to Dewdrop of DiamondDust who requested the song :)

Anne: Yeah you'll find out what happens next chapter :P I was freaking out during the last few episodes too! It was so intense! Hehe the humans are such trolls. But yeah Soundwave's cool they should bring him back!

TransformersPrime1234444: Hehe you'll see next chapter!

Miko973: Haha I know right? I had to let Lapis get some sort of revenge on the jerk! Glad you liked it :)

Shadow Katakura: I have no shame in the fact that I cried during the last episode...except when my sis came in and called me a loser and said that they're just cars on steroids...anywho glad you liked the chapter!

I've been left out alone like a damn criminal
I've been praying for help cause I can't take it all
I'm not done,
It's not over.

**Solus/Arcee's POV**

"You didn't do anything Soundwave to hurt or offend me. But I can't stay with you, you must understand this. I promise you'll forget me, you can live your life without me just fine. I know someday you'll find the right femme for you, but it's not me. You have to understand." I sighed as I pulled away from Soundwave. I transformed and drove away from Soundwave as fast as I could. I thought I was saving him a lot of trouble by avoiding love. Being one of the Thirteen sucks. What he said to me when I told it was goodbye…I could easily see and hear the fear and loss in his voice.

"No! Please, Solus. Please don't leave me. What did I do wrong? Did I say or do something to offend you? Just tell me and I promise I'll make it better. I can't lose you…please." Soundwave pleaded.

"I hurt everyone I meet. I feel like a fragging criminal. Primus please help me…no don't help me I don't deserve anything. Help Soundwave, I can't take it knowing that he was hurt by me! Please help him…" I cried out as I entered my housing unit. Oh scrap Ravage was with Soundwave…what if he tells the others of my feelings for Soundwave? What if I am considered a traitor because the others won't hear the full story? The problems are not over…I'm not done with this battle.

Now I'm fighting this war since the day of the fall
And I'm desperately holding on to it all
But I'm lost
I'm so damn lost

**Soundwave's POV**

I watched silently in the shadows as Solus aka Arcee signed up to join the Autobot army. I turned and looked away, tears rolling down my cheekplates underneath my visor. There was officially zero chance of me ever telling her my feelings. She's an Autobot, I'm a Decepticon. We now are forced to fight against each other. I thought I knew what I was doing when I decided to follow Lord Megatron but now…I feel lost.

"You will be trained by Mirage and Tailgate, I'm sure they'd love to have you as a spy." The mech with a gruff voice said. Solus nodded and walked away with her datapad that's sure to be filled with need-to-know information. I wanted to run after her, lift my visor, and kiss her. I want to tell her that I love her and that I need her. I keep holding onto the faint hope that we could be together. I want everything to go back to the way it was.

But I'm lost.
I'm just way too damn lost.

Oh I wish it was over,
And I wish you were here
Still I'm hoping that somehow

**Solus' POV**

I knew Soundwave was standing there when I signed up to be in the Autobot army. The decision of which side to pick was easy for me. Megatronus/Megatron was a cruel tyrant while his brother Orion Pax/Optimus Prime was kind and obviously deserved the title of Prime. I just pray that Soundwave makes the right decision. I walked away and pretended not to notice him. I went to look for Mirage and Tailgate. I resisted the urge to turn and look back at the mech who turned my life upside down.

"Don't look back, don't go back on your decision. Don't hurt him again." I whispered as I walked away. I walked into the designated base I'd be staying in along with my new team. Apparently Mirage and Tailgate were merely looking for someone to actually lead their team and they thought that after I have some training I could be their leader. I found the two mechs and shook servos with them and we introduced ourselves.

"Are you ready, Arcee?" Mirage asked. On the outside I was smirking, on the inside I was just wishing that Soundwave was here. Still hoping that somehow we could be together.

'Cause your soul is on fire
A shot in the dark
What did they aim for when they missed your heart?

**Normal POV**

Ravage growled lowly from the shadows near Arcee's hiding spot. She froze and turned to see her brother. He was beyond angry, he was royally pissed off at his sister's foolishness. He didn't even bother checking to see if anyone else was watching as he transformed into his mech form and stormed up to Solus. He knew that Soundwave was still sparkbroken and crushed by what Solus did to him.

"You little glitch! I can't believe what you're putting Soundwave through! You should've just told him of his feelings and say to Pit with our brothers! Not leave him lost, confused, and sparkbroken like you did!" Ravage growled. Solus looked away from him, not able to hear this without possibly breaking into tears. Tailgate had been murdered not long ago and those wounds were still fresh in her mind. "You might as well have shot him straight in the spark, it would've saved him a lot of pain in the end. What were you aiming for when you missed his spark?"

I breathe underwater
It's all in my hands
What can I do?
Don't let it fall apart
A shot in the dark

"I didn't mean for him to get hurt okay?! He meant everything to me and I wanted to stay with him, I wanted to tell him that I loved him! But what was I supposed to do? I was scared that I'd be thought of as a traitor and I didn't want to be thought of like I was The Fallen!" Solus snapped, tears running down her cheekplates. Ravage fell silent and his optics widened at the sudden confession. She clenched her fists and was trembling slightly. "What can I do? I don't know what faction he's in and I don't even know what to say to him if I do find him again."

"Don't let things fall apart anymore…that shot you took was a shot in the dark." Ravage answered and transformed and ran off to find Soundwave. Solus collapsed to her knees and sobbed. Soon enough her team found her and helped her back to their base. They just thought that she needed time to be alone and ended up sobbing in a random area. Solus didn't tell them the real story so she just went along with that.

In the blink of an eye
I can see through your eyes
As I'm lying awake I'm still hearing the cries
And it hurts
Hurts me so bad
And I'm wondering why I still fight in this life
'Cause I've lost all my faith in this damn bitter strife
And it's sad
It's so damn sad

"NO!" Solus screamed as she stopped running towards a small neutral settlement. She had been sent to stop the attack that Mirage had gotten word about. The plan had been torn to shreds when the bombs the Decepticons had set up blew up. She heard the screams of the innocent Cybertronians and she fought the urge to throw up. When the bombs ceased she ran into the settlement to look for any survivors. Every house was leveled with fresh energon leaking out from underneath the rubble.

"Carrier? Creator?" a small voice cried out in fear and pain. Solus' spark stalled for a split second and she ran until she found a youngling, barely out of sparklinghood, curled up against the dead body of his Carrier. Solus approached the youngling, tears forming in her blue and pink optics. The youngling looked up at Solus and screamed in fear, thinking that she would hurt him like the cons did to his sparkparents. "W-Who are you? Why you hurt Carrier and Creator? Why they dead?"

"It's alright little one, I won't hurt you. I'm not the one who did this, the bad guys did. I'm one of the good guys, see?" Solus answered softly as she showed him her Autobot insignia. The youngling's optics widened and he threw himself into her arms and sobbed. He kept rambling about his sparkparents and cried himself to sleep. Solus smiled and took him back to base. Later that night Solus was taking a walk and found herself in the old park she used to meet up with Soundwave in.

"I see you still visit here sometimes." A voice said from behind her. She turned around to see Alpha Trion standing there with a small smile. Solus narrowed her optics and turned back around and ignored her brother. Alpha Trion frowned and walked up behind her, looking around the park. "I can see why you and Soundwave always came here. It's quite beautiful actually. You act like your spark is cold yet I can see right through the façade. It's all in your optics: the pain, the suffering, the sorrow, the loss. Everything that you've been trying to hide is clear as day."

"Alpha Trion I've been haunted by the screams of the neutrals. I tried to sleep tonight but I can't get the image of the energon leaking out of the housing units or the youngling curled against his sparkparents' bodies out of my processor! Their screams of pain echo through my audio receptors and I can't stop them! It hurts Alpha Trion! It hurts! I've lost all faith in ending this war and finding the Prime. What am I supposed to do?" Solus snapped as she turned to him. Alpha Trion smiled warmly.

"Don't give up on the Cybertronians and find the Prime."

Oh I wish it was over,
And I wish you were here
Still I'm hoping that somehow

"Did you plan this, Primus? Did you know this was going to happen when you gave me that prophecy? I hope you're happy now! Cybertron is dying and along with it, you! You've taken away everything from your people and put us through torture. What's next? Will you allow the Cybertronian race to die out? Will you?" Solus screamed in a secluded area on a nearly deserted Cybertron. The war had gone on for so long that their beloved planet was now dead. She punched a nearby crumbling building, successfully knocking the rest of it down. She couldn't help but wonder what Soundwave was doing.

Soundwave hid in a dark corner of the room he was stuck in with Starscream. The seeker was rambling on about how he caught two Autobots, one being so fast everyone thought they were impossible to catch. Soundwave just ignored him and thought about Solus. He knew he probably would never see her again now that everyone was scattered amongst the stars. Yet somehow he was stuck with some vehicons, Starscream, and Shockwave on Cybertron still. His thoughts were cut off when the vehicons dragged in two Autobots. One was unfamiliar to Soundwave but the other was…

Solus.

I breathe underwater
It's all in my hands
What can I do?
Don't let it fall apart
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark

I feel you fading away
I feel you fading away
I feel you fading away
I feel you fading away

'Cause your soul is on fire
A shot in the dark,
What did they aim for when they missed your heart?

I breathe underwater
It's all in my hands
What can I do?
Don't let it fall apart
Oh, your soul is on fire
A shot in the dark,
What did they aim for when they missed your heart?

I breathe underwater
It's all in my hands
What can I do?
Don't let it fall apart
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark
A shot in the dark

After all the problems, the battles, the confusion, the mixed feelings, the darkness in Soundwave's spark…they're together again.

Finally.

Hope you guys liked it! The song is "Shot in the Dark" by Within Temptation! Thank you Dewdrop of DiamondDust for the suggestion!

OH and I have a question for you guys:

If I wrote a oneshot (that I won't post as a chapter like I did with this one) based on Crimsonbreak and Winterstreak's past would you guys be interested in reading it?

Reviews are welcomed!
