Man, has it been that long since I've updated? Sorry for the long wait everyone. I hope this makes up for it! The first battle up is The Thirteen vs. The Fallen. I don't really have much time for review responses but I do have one announcement.
I do not own Shadowstalker, she's Shadow Katakura's OC. She was the only person to take my offer of having their OC in the battle. She'll be battling in the next chapter.
The Dark One silently walked down the halls of Darkmount. He was making plans on what to do during the upcoming battle. He knew that they were at a disadvantage, even with Crimsonbreak on their side. He knew that the cyberninjas would find a way to get her back if given the chance. The Autobots and cyberninjas were too stubborn to not try to get back their friend and he knew it. If they got the chance then he'd be killed, and that would just not do.
"Master!" Crimsonbreak's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He turned around and stopped as she ran up. She looked excited which was strange, considering he thought he'd wiped away practically all of her emotions when she finally succumbed to her darker side. "Sir Lord Megatron and The Fallen wish to speak with you. Apparently there are more Decepticons arriving on Earth willing to help us destroy the Autobots and Thirteen."
"Very well, I will go look for them. In the meantime, prepare for battle Crimsonbreak." He ordered sternly. Crimsonbreak nodded sharply and ran off. The Dark One began walking towards the command center to see what all the fuss was about. When he walked in he found a few new Decepticons. There was a purple and black Cyclopes one (Shockwave), a black and white one (Barricade), and a Predacon (Predaking). "These are the Decepticon arrivals that Crimsonbreak informed me of?"
"Indeed, this is Shockwave, one of my best scientists, his creation Predaking, and one of my best soldiers, Barricade." Megatron introduced. The Dark One nodded to the new arrivals in greeting. He remained silent as Megatron explained what all had transpired on Earth during their absence. He could tell that the warlord was overconfident. The Fallen was more logical than Megatron, but he too underestimated the Autobots, cyberninjas, and Thirteen. The Dark One, however, understood the power the opposing side held perfectly well. He looked over at Crimsonbreak. He knew if that accursed Prime got Crimsonbreak back that he'd lose no matter what.
He could only pray that he would not see that day.
**Autobot base**
Solus was saying goodbye to Wavelink while everyone else prepared for the battle. The Rescue Bots were staying behind in case the others needed backup, considering they still weren't very well trained or prepared. Soundwave watched from his spot across the room while he helped someone prepare for battle. He nearly jumped out of his armor when someone suddenly placed a servo on his shoulder. He turned to see Prima smirking at him.
"Be careful, Soundwave, wandering optics may bring trouble." The Prime teased. Soundwave rolled his optics and smirked as well. They talked about random topics, never really settling on one. They both avoided the topic of the battle, not wanting to think of it. That is, until Prima decided to ask Soundwave a question that had been bugging him for a while. "I'm curious, are you going to keep your mask on or take it off during the battle?"
"I'm tired of hiding behind a mask and refusing to show my faceplate. It's time they finally see what my faceplate looks like." Soundwave answered seriously. Prima nodded slightly in understanding, but smirked when Solus and Wavelink walked up. He whistled innocently and walked away as Solus got closer. Soundwave smiled and kissed Solus quickly. Wavelink instantly covered his optics. "So, to what do I owe this visit?"
"Oh come on, does there have to be a reason why I came over here and see you?" Solus asked with a smirk. Wavelink uncovered his optics, hoping it was safe to look. Soundwave smiled at him. He sincerely hope he'd come out of the battle alive so he could finally have a family without the fear of the Decepticons taking it away. "Besides, Wavelink told me that he wanted to tell you something."
"I…I…good luck and please come home." Wavelink said shyly. Soundwave smiled and hugged him tightly. He knew he couldn't promise to come home safe and sound, it was impossible to tell the outcome of the battle. Vector Prime entered the room and smirked when he saw everyone present, knowing that it'd be easier to give his announcement with everyone in the room.
"Everyone I have an announcement to make! I realized that even with our improved size, we are still outgunned. That is why I did a little bit of dimension hopping until I found someone willing to come and help us defeat the Decepticons." He announced. Behind him walked in a black femme with pink highlights on the crest of her helm and the bracelet-like things on her arms and purple and gold streaks running down her legs and arms. Everyone looked surprised to see her. "I would like to introduce you to Shadowstalker."
"Just call me Shadow." Shadowstalker said with a smirk. Everyone soon began to fill her in on everything that had been going on. It was interesting to explain what the cyberninjas were considering there were none in her dimension. Apparently Arcee wasn't Solus Prime in Shadow's dimension either. Shadow looked over at Smokescreen Prime after the explanations were over with a smirk. "So bossbot, when do we head out?"
"Uh that's a good question…Solus?" Smokescreen answered awkwardly. Solus smirked and shook her helm. Everyone was still getting accustomed to the new chain of command. Solus was about to answer when the computer to beep wildly and a Decepticon symbol popped up in the area where the battle was to take place. Smokescreen narrowed his optics with a frown. "I guess that's my answer. Autobots, cyberninjas, it's time to head for battle. Rescue Bots, be ready to roll out at any moment in case we are in need of backup."
"Thirteen, we're about to make our final stand, I hope all of you are ready." Solus announced as well to her team. She transformed into her "Prime self" and clutched the Forge tightly in her servo. She knew this would determine what the future of the Cybertronian race will look like so she wasn't about to screw things up. Solus looked down at Wavelink with a warm smile and gentle optics, knowing very well that he was frightened about what was going to happen. "'Link, stay here and be good for Ratchet and the Rescue Bots, okay? They're going to take good care of you while I'm gone."
"Okay Solus." Wavelink whispered sadly. Solus knelt down and gave him a tight hug. Everyone stared sadly at the two. Jazz and Prowl shared a look that told each other that they worried about the poor youngling and how he's taking the war. When the two separated Ratchet opened the ground bridge for the soldiers. Ratchet looked at Optimus with a stern look, but Optimus beat him to it.
"Considering that most of our human allies turned out to be Cybertronian, you won't have to worry about being left alone on a planet 'teeming with humans' as you put it." Optimus said as he raised a servo. Solus, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee laughed while everyone just looked confused. Solus waved off the looks and promised to tell them later. They all ran through the ground bridge, ready for whatever came their way.
**Solus' POV**
When I walked through the ground bridge with my teammates I did not expect what I saw. The Decepticons had apparently gained some allies, one in particular I was concerned about. I knew that Shockwave was insane, but I never would've guessed that he'd clone a Predacon. I glared at the mech I used to call my brother. The Fallen stood there with a malicious grin and glared right back. I was about to say something when I heard Yellowbeam give a small gasp.
"How in the All Spark is there more than one of him? I thought his power was to control minds!" the cyberninja exclaimed. I looked over to where Crimsonbreak and The Dark One were standing and realized that there were clones of The Dark One. Everyone looked to Winterstreak who looked like he was trying to kill The Dark One with his glare. "Winterstreak? Do you know what's going on?"
"The Dark One didn't do this, Crimsonbreak did." He growled in response. I looked at the young cyberninja standing next to her new leader. Primus was right, she is powerful. We all separated into our designated groups. Winterstreak looked hesitant, but he put Nightshade in charge and went with my team. At the corner of my optic I saw Alpha Trion and Firestrike walk up while Silverspark was pulled by Starscream to Smokescreen's team. I knew that they were hesitant to leave their sparkparents, but it was for the best.
"You betrayed us, Megatronus." I growled as my brothers and I approached The Fallen. I faintly heard the other battles start, but I didn't pay them any mind. I knew that in order for us to end this once and for all with The Fallen. Our brother sneered and deployed his weapons. My intakes hitched when I saw the Requiem Blaster mounted on his back. The last time I saw that was right before he offlined me.
"I did what was right, none of you deserve to be alive!" Megatronus snapped. I shuttered my optics as memories of the vision Primus had given me so many weeks ago came back. I knew that in a twisted way, he was right. We had majorly screwed up when we were in power, but that doesn't condone what he did. I drew my trusty wristblades as everyone else got their weapons ready. I looked over at Winterstreak.
"And neither do you." Winterstreak growled as we all attacked The Fallen. He took a shot at Prima but luckily he was able to dodge and return fire. I transformed into my Arcee and slid down between his legs, thankful for my small size, and sliced at him from behind with my blades. He turned and managed to shoot me, luckily not with the Requiem Blaster this time, but it was enough to send me flying back. When I landed I groaned in pain and stood up slowly. Megatronus was running at me but Nexus kicked him away. Winterstreak used his powers to freeze the energon in The Fallen's feet (since he didn't have enough energy to completely freeze him) so he couldn't move. I saw him glance over at Crimsonbreak before he turned back to me. "Solus, I'm going to see if I can get Crimsonbreak back. I'm afraid I have to leave."
"Go get your femme back, Wints." I answered as I transformed back into my Prime form. My brothers and I distracted The Fallen while Winterstreak retreated to confront Crimsonbreak. I saw out of the corner of my optic Soundwave fighting Shockwave. I focused back on Megatronus when he pulled out the Requiem Blaster. We all froze when he prepared to shoot us. I noticed Alpha Trion standing in front of Firestrike to protect her. Nexus put himself between Megatronus and I. I frowned at that. I'm not a sparkling for Primus' sake. I pushed him out of my way and glared at The Fallen. "You wouldn't dare, Megatronus."
"Oh wouldn't I? Isn't this the reason why you couldn't use your original form?" The Fallen taunted. I smirked when Soundwave and Mirage appeared out of nowhere and attacked him, successfully knocking the Requiem Blaster out of his servos. Amalgamous dove and grabbed it. He threw it to me and I caught it with ease. I aimed it at Megatronus as everyone stood behind me. Everyone fell silent except for the other teams in battle. My intakes were heavy and I glared at the mech I once called my brother. "What are you going to do? Shoot me? Go ahead, you'll be exactly like me."
"You don't seem to get it, Megatronus. I'm not going to offline you with this. I'm going to do something that should've been done a long time ago!" I yelled as I threw the Requiem Blaster in the air and shot it several times until it exploded. Everyone stared at me like I was insane. I deployed my blades and took a step towards Megatronus. "You will pay for what you did to us and any sentient being you may have brought chaos to. I will not, however, stoop so low as to offline you with the weapon that you used to try and offline me. I know how painful a single shot from it can be, and it's not something I'd wish on anyone. Not even a lowlife like yourself."
"You should've offlined me when you had the change." Megatronus growled with a smirk. He jumped up and ran at me. The others tried to stop him but ultimately failed. I stood my ground, ready to fight him off, but everyone stumbled and Megatronus stumbled as the ground beneath us shook. I nearly fell over and grabbed onto Ravage to regain my balance. The Fallen looked surprised before getting a deadly grin. "Lord Unicron is awakening. Sorry little sister, you're-"
"Shut. The. Frag. Up." Soundwave growled as he stabbed Megatronus through the spark from the back with Nexus' sword. I turned to my brother with a questioning look. He smiled innocently and shrugged. Soundwave pulled the sword out and dropped it as if he was horrified by what he'd done to the monster. He took a step back as Megatronus collapsed to the ground dead. Soundwave looked like he had no idea what to say. Nexus suddenly got a huge grin on his faceplate as he clapped Soundwave hard on the shoulder.
"Go Soundwave! You just got rid of that fragger!" he exclaimed. I smiled and hugged Soundwave happily. I could feel Soundwave relax in my arms, and I realized that he thought we might get mad at him for doing that. I faintly heard my brothers thank Soundwave, but I didn't pay them any mind as I held Soundwave closer. The moment, however, was ruined when the ground trembled again. Nexus groaned and facepalmed. "Do we ever get a break?"
"Don't worry guys, I have a plan…" a voice answered we all turned and couldn't believe who volunteered.
Hope you guys enjoyed it! Next up is the Autobots vs. Decepticons chapter.
By the way, I'm having problems writing because there's a lot of drama going on at school. That, and I have senior stuff to get done *shudders* ugh senior year. So don't expect a quick update, sorry!
