S orrelstar had had enough of of the thieves;
K indly he had tried to ask them to leave;
Y et they refused, feeding his peeves…
"S o, who is joining me on the battle patrol?"

Y esterday finding peace had been their goal…
S un high in the sky, they began to march,
K in of the Clan that had worked toward, nay,
Y earned for the tension to parch…
S kyClan wasn't prepared for the battle-
K indly they asked them to stop
Y ellowwhisker wished her Clan's confidence would rattle…
S adly, ThunderClan's army marched on
K its and elders were victims as well
Y et the forest cats' morality was too far gone…
S even sunrises later, the gathering came upon them
K estrelclaw realized his mistake
Y earning for a chance for redemption…
S o Yellowwhisker stepped forward, thinking of a plan
"K indness and respect is what ThunderClan believes in,"
Y ellowwhisker whispered, gazing among her Clan...
"S kyClan has learned it already,
K illing mercilessly cannot be the answer,
Y es, without respect our future is unsteady!"
S orrelstar nodded, eyes shining
K in of his kin soon learned this tale
Y ellowwhisker's speech was a silver lining…
"To the harsh lesson the Clans had learned," the elder finished, her rheumy eyes blinking slowly as she read the three kits' expressions of awe and shock. "So, do you understand why you must not only respect your clanmates, but the Code and, by extension, other Clans?"
